Chapter 933 First Hurdle Crossed
Upon performing a deep inspection of Rudra's body, Beniogre was shocked as to how perfect it was.
There was not a single micro imperfection, not a single artery or capillary that was not working to 100% efficiency in his body.
All monarchs had extraordinary constitutions, however, Rudra's body surpassed the realm of perfection and could be considered the epitome of what a being could become within the controlled universe.
The reason behind Rudra's perfect body was because it had been reforged in space using the powers of chaos bit by bit, which rid him of any imperfections left in his foundation uptil that point.
It was a great reset, a big opportunity gifted to him by Odin who had planted the seeds of reincarnation and chaos in his body.
However, even within such a perfect body, the influence of 6 seeds was causing problems that were evident even to Beniogre's crude inspection.
His muscles and mana veins were overcharged with energy to the point where they were being degraded and his auto-immune system was on the verge of undergoing a failure.
Conflicting energies were clashing so oftenly in his body and damaging his internals that Beniogre was shocked as to how Rudra was still alive?
The power from even a single seed was enough to send one to the afterlife yet he was managing six of them in his body at once and wanted to even embed a 7th one.
" Are you sure you want to go through with this? Just removing the seeds will give your body some much needed releif and overtime you can heal?
Do you really need to go so far?" Beniogre asked one final time as Rudra replied with an unwavering " yes" to her question.
Beniogre was not aware that it was Max's life that was on the line here and what Rudra's real motivations behind undergoing this surgery were.
To her, she could only see the mad ambition within Rudra's eyes to conquer it all as she felt a little pity when starting the procedure for the supreme lord of the universe.
Most people would have been content to become the strongest in the controlled universe and would have slacked off and retired, however, something within Rudra kept pushing him to become even better and Beniogre pitied him for it.
What good was being the strongest when you could never have a moment to enjoy it?
" Okay then, I'm going to start the procedure. The first step is to remove all the seeds from your body, for security I'll only make the incisions and let the queen retrieve them, since I don't want to come in contact with the seeds directly" Beniogre said as she quickly made precise incisions within Rudra's body and waited for the queen to remove the seeds.
She had expected to be done with this first step relatively quickly, but to her surprise as soon as she made a cut on Rudra's skin it healed almost instantly leaving not even a split second for the queen to force her way in.
If Beniogre tried to forcefully stick her scalpel in his skin and keep it there for a period of time to prevent the wound from closing up completely then the skin closed off around her scalpel and instantly disintegrated the metal left inside before healing all over again.
It was a completely unprecedented feat that Beniogre had never witnessed before as she could not even begin to fathom how a body could digest divine mithril iron within seconds?
" Odin, I'll need you to stop supplying him with too much vitality, I can't even make an incision" Beniogre complained as she thought that maybe it was Odin's doing that Rudra was healing so fast, however, even after Odin reduced the output he was providing to Rudra by 80% the healing kept happening just as fast.
" It's the seeds….. they won't be taken out, so… easily" Rudra said slowly and as if he was in immense pain as Odin immediately resumed his original output and shot a disappointed look at Beniogre.
The aid that Odin provided to Rudra was the only support he received that helped him stay sane. Reducing that output was out of the question.
Baffled, Beniogre could not understand how to even begin to approach this problem when the queen suggested an unconventional method to solve this issue.
" We need to use time dilation " the queen suggested as Odin and Beniogre looked at each other and nodded.
By using a time dilation spell, the three of them would be in an accelerated time stream, however, Rudra and his healing time would slow down.
This disproportionate time distribution would help them deal with Rudra's fast healing giving them a slight opening to remove the seeds.
" Alright, queen, please cast the time dilation spell" Odin requested as the queen refused to take his order.
" I only take orders from my master" the queen said as she forced Rudra to give the ' Go ahead ' which made Odin frown.
Usually the queen would never speak unless spoken to, however, the moment Rudra's operation started she showed behavior that was unseen before.
' I need to be more careful, perhaps the supreme lords vigilance was not for nothing' Odin thought as the queen cast a time dilation spell.
With the time stream flowing disproportionately for Rudra and for his operators they finally were able to create an opening long enough for the queen to forcibly pull out a seed every time Beniogre made a cut.
It was only because Rudra had not yet embedded the time seed in his body that this method worked on him as if he had, he would have became immune to time dilution spells.
Nonetheless, the method was a success and after six cuts, the queen removed and stored all six seeds that were once in Rudra's body, giving him a moment of unprecedented relief and clarity.
" The voices….. they're gone" Rudra said emotionally as he subconsciously shed two drops of tears that made both Odin and Beniogre shocked.
It was rare that Rudra showed emotion, however, rarer still that he showed emotion to suffering.
They could not even begin to fathom what sort of pain he was in all these years to have listened to the ravings of six seeds at once, yet despite all the suffering he wanted to keep going on and add a seventh to his body.
