Chapter 926 Ruining yet another life
Drax was just a loyal A.I. created with the sole purpose of avenging his first master Lord Agni who created him when he was approaching death by being betrayed by Bavuma.
For years, he was dormant, waiting for a tier6 god who was worthy to pick him up and claim his powers, however, he never found a worthy successor but rather only found trash mortals that could most likely never even hope to reach godhood.
He killed all those trash mortals who laid their hands upon him and was soon considered a dangerous treasure and was buried in the middle of the forest where no-one could find it where he laid buried for thousands of years until one fine day Max Rajput found him.
Max was a tier0 trash, a trash that was trash compared to all other trash that touched him and Drax's first instinct was to kill him, however unfortunately he could not.
Max had clogged up mana veins and was immune to mana poisoning which meant that Drax could not kill the boy despite him not being worthy of being his master.
As he read the memories of the boy, he realised that Max was a reincarnator who had been given a second shot at life and felt like maybe with the correct guidance Max could reach the heights necessary to avenge Agni's death.
Drax lent his strength to Max and watched him grow from tier0 to tier5 and slowly but surely started to feel more and more strongly for the boy who he began treating like his own grandson.
Having been created by the dying soul of a god, Drax was a sentient being with a capacity to have emotions and morals as he was not just an A.I. that could perform tasks that were entrusted to it but could also think and decide for himself.
Unlike the universal queen, Drax did not have a set of laws governing him but only a singular mission to avenge his masters death which was abruptly completed when Bavuma attacked Max and was miraculously defeated.
That day, the Drax that went into coma to upgrade swore his full fielty to Max as a master, however, the Drax that woke up was no longer the same being that had went to sleep.
Upon consuming Bavuma's life memories and his knowledge, something within Drax changed as he came in contact with forbidden knowledge of the seed of knowledge.
The memories that drove Bavuma crazy and turned him into a vegetable for years were events that Drax had to deal with as he handled and processed that information.
Before Bavuma, Drax had already dealt with memories contaminated by the influence of the seeds when he swallowed Angakok, however, the key difference between the two was that while the time seed inflated one's sense of self worth which was useless for an A.I. who had no ego, the seed of knowledge gave birth to a desire of establishing superiority over all others and that was a base allure that a sentient being like Drax could not contest against.
Through Bavuma's memories he learnt about the celestial realm, he learnt about the soul realm and he found a way as to how, he, a remnant soul of a dead god could potentially force a hostile takeover of an unassuming host and finally have a body of his own.
Once the poisonous idea of manifesting himself to become a real person took root and he experienced the joys of taking over the body of the clone, Drax knew that he wanted to have a body of his own and he singled out Dracula as the prime candidate.
Being an A.I. he was excellent at masking his real intentions as Max never even remotely suspected that Drax might harbour some ulterior motives as whether it was casual conversation or combat reliance, Drax never gave Max even the slightest chance to suspect his loyalty.
In Max's head, once he beat Dracula and started the soul absorption, the fight was already over as he would gain all the experience and nourishment that he needed from Dracula's body while Drax would filter out the memories that came with the soul as agreed, however, at the critical moment Drax betrayed Max and instead of filtering the memories Drax left Max to deal with the process on his own as he set his sights on Dracula's body that was soon going to be without a host.
As a result of the old Drax's wishes which would not allow Max being actively harmed, the new transformed A.I. did not set his sights on taking over Max's body as it's new host, however, it did harm Max indirectly by forcing him to deal with the demons in Dracula's head.

( Meanwhile The Perfect Warrior and Odin )
Odin felt his very soul tremble as he felt the effects of a powerful karmic backlash.
This was the second time in this year that he felt such a powerful backlash as for a moment his body felt like it was under the most extreme of agonising pain even though he did nothing wrong himself.
Him experiencing a karmic backlash could only mean that his master had done something to interfere with the universe as the only reason why his soul would tremble would be if the perfect warrior was sitting somewhere in the celestial realm suffering too.
" WHY? WHY DID YOU DO IT!" Odin demanded as he could not understand why the perfect warrior would risk taking such an extreme karmic backlash by directly meddling with the controlled universe as if he had to guess it could only be to mess with one of the two Rajput brothers.
His guess would also prove to be spot on as Drax's sudden transformation was not entirely unguided as it was the perfect warrior who had used [ alter reality ] to ensure that Drax went down a darker path.
Ofcourse, meddling with the controlled universe and one's choices never came without a cost and the perfect warrior suffered dearly for it, but while lesser beings like Bavuma would be obliterated by the backlash, the perfect warrior could withstand it, however, what Odin could not understand was why?
For as long as Odin remembered, the perfect warrior was keen on raising the ultimate challenger that could beat him, however, his recent actions that seemed to be aimed at derailing the two brothers' progress seemed to be out of his character.
" Why did I do it, you ask?….. you silly boy….." the perfect warrior replied as though he was only merely whispering, his voice was deeper than the most masculine men when they tried their hardest to talk deeply.
" I did it because I need Rudra Rajput to bring me those seeds…. And as things progress he is going to be consumed by them.
Perhaps this development will force him out of his shell, perhaps then he can entertain me some more" the perfect warrior said as although there was no laughter attached to his words Odin could hear a sinister and uncontrolled laughter roll throughout his brain as he could only assume that the perfect warrior was sitting in the celestial realm laughing his ass off at ruining yet another life.
