( Angakok's POV )

Angakok was facing serious hardships pushing the frail old body he inherited from Khnum to tier8.

Out of the trillions upon trillions that occupied the universe, only a dozen managed to reach the peak of power at tier8 and the reason behind it was simple— The tier promotion test to become tier8 was the most difficult process that a being could undergo successfully.

One had to be at the peak of their physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health to even dare attempt the test and unfortunately for Angakok, the time seed coupled with Khnum's aged body was not the right combination.

Unlike Max who had a perfect constitution and had a chance to go beyond tier8, Khnum was a god who had a shaky foundation and had reached tier7 through great difficulty.

Angakok, who inherited his body, also had to deal with the effects of his weak constitution which was the only reason behind why he was still stuck at the peak of tier7 realm as he did not have the confidence to push for tier8 before fixing his body.

After his previous visit to Dombivli where he was beaten black and blue, Angakok felt like he needed to improve his strength to tier8 before launching his next attack, however, he lost the track of time as he delved deeper and deeper into the powers of the time seed.

To him only a few months had passed within the time chamber, but in actuality he had lost centuries worth of time in the 12 years that he spent within the time chamber.

Thankfully for him, with the time seed not embedded in the time chamber runes and instead being with him in person, the dilation effect of the chamber wasn't as extreme as 1 day = 1 year, in which case he would have died by now.

Nonetheless, as Max and his friends burst into his time chamber, Angakok felt as elated at seeing Max as Max did upon seeing him.

He couldn't believe his fortunes that the body that he desperately wished to take over so that he could promote to tier8 again walked right to him without effort as his purple eyes gleamed with glee and he prepared for battle.

" You puny god's dare to raid the Shaman God's residence? " Angakok said with excitement as his powerful voice boomed across the time chamber.

He raised his hands and dozens of blood tendrils as thick as tree trunks shot out of the ground, however, they were instantly blown to smithereens by Sebastian's thunderblast.

*KABOOM*

*CRACKLE* *CRACKLE*

" So what if we do? " He said as he bared his teeth towards Angakok showing unabashedly how much he hated the man.

" Indra-Astra? Very impressive….. but it's nowhere as strong as my weapon " Angakok said as he gripped the seed of time and activated his first spell.

[ Time Freeze ]

At that instant, Sebastian felt a suffocating pressure all around his body as he felt like his movement had once again become completely frozen.

He could still move, but it was at a snail's pace whereas Angakok moved leisurely as if he did not feel the suppression at all.

This was the same move he had used while trying to assassinate Asiva, however, back then Furball had trapped him in an illusion to counter the moves effects.

With Furball not around, the Shaman was confident in getting the upper hand, however, he had no idea that Max had already found a way to break this hold.

Angakok waltzed past Sebastian who was at front, ignoring him as if he were an ant not even worthy of his attention, while he stopped a second to glance at sir Jhonny who seemed like he was reaching into his coats to retrieve some daggers.

Angakok remembered sir Jhonny, the man had left a deep impression on him back in the Dimsnsional war, however, he knew that Max was the biggest fish here which was why he decided to ignore the two upfront and walked straight towards him.

Max too appeared like he was stuck within Angakok's time freeze domain, as although his pupils moved fast, his body moved at a snail's pace.

" Oh for how long have I wished to chop up that pretty face of yours. But first, you must suffer the same indignation that I did! " Angakok said as he manifested a blood blade in his hands and attempted to chop off Max's right arm as revenge for losing his own during the previous assassination attempt.

*SHUA*

*SPLAT*

"Argghhhhhghgggghhhhh " Angakok screamed in pain as somehow both his arms were slashed off clean in a move that he never saw coming.

The time freeze spell broke and a split second later a dozen daggers and a thunderblast was already upon Angakok's neck.

*KABOOM*

*SPLAT*

Blasted aside with a dozen daggers sticking out of his back, Angakok could not even begin to process where he went wrong?

All he remembered was manifesting the blood blade, but then suddenly the blade refused to obey his will and sliced apart his own hands as if it were someone else's weapon.

" SO YOU FINALLY REALISED THAT YOU ARE A PRIMORDIAL VAMPIRE HUH? " Angakok shouted as he realised that the Max he was facing now was way different from the Max he had met in the past.

Within his time-freeze any object that he came into physical contact with was free'd from the effects of the suppression.

So although any blood attack manifested by Max could not travel at its usual speed, any attack conjured by Angakok still could.

However, for Angakok to lose control of his own move was a outcome he never foresaw and hence he paid the price for it.

As he turned to face his three ferocious opponents with two bleeding arms, he noticed Sebastian being completely surrounded by thunder clouds and a brewing storm as if he were the god of thunderstorms.

On the other hand, Max had glowing red eyes that made even Angakok shudder as he floated in the sky with small blood mist scattered all around him.

It was undeniable proof that he had began to harness his bloodline abilities and was a different breed of opponent than Angakok recognised.

Finally, the middle aged man stood on-top of a dinosaur with his arms folded and daggers sticking out from under his elbows as he looked down upon angakok with a gaze of ' pity '.

Seeing this scene Angakok felt his skin crawl up in fear, however, he wasn't ready to throw in the towel yet!

Since the opposition came into his domain to look for a fight, he could very well not let any of them walk back out alive.
