Naomi and Ruby were almost in disbelief seeing how Rudra did stick to his role of being a father and did not go on with his business of waging wars for over a decade straight.
Rudra had only two goals in his mind for the past 12 years.
First- to train his children as best as he could, so that someday they may surpass even his achievements.
Second- Devise a plan to successfully take down the universal queen.
For the first goal, he did precisely that!
All his children were tier6 god's and it was incredible considering how few wars they had actually fought or how sheltered of a life they lived.
Rudra not only taught them how to fight, but more importantly taught them the nuances of how to plan a fight.
For them, only sparring against each other and him, they did not truly understand how strong they were.
However, Rudra knew that if he himself faced his kids as a newly ascended tier6 warrior, he would not have the confidence to win 5/10 duels against them.
They were undoubtedly a better version of him at the same tier and it made him proud to see how far they had come with minimal complaints under his hellish training.
Sparring against him was a life-death affair.
Especially in the last year since Jake and Amy achieved divinity, Rudra absolutely bashed them with more than 50% of his strength breaking multiple bones in their bodies on a daily basis.
It was partly because it gave Amy nice training, and partly because Rudra wanted Jake to learn to push on despite the pain, as battles in the actual universe were never fair and he might have to push on in circumstances where normal people will throw in the towel.
It was also important for him to temper Jake this way, as for some reason the idiot third son of his was a brute that broke his own bones of his own volition.
Kartikeya was such a menace, that he would dislocate his own shoulder if it meant that he could get a slightly longer range on his sword slash to take his opponent by surprise.
Of all three kids, he was the one that gave even Rudra some surprises in battle as he fought with the singular reason to kill and was the incarnation of a True Berserker if there was any before him.
The more he bled, the stronger he became and Rudra wasn't sure if he should admonish or praise Kartikeya for his mentality.
Either way, he believed his childish nature would phase out as he matured and with him also reaching god-hood recently, Rudra believed it would happen sooner than later.
However, on his other goal, there was some progress that was worrisome.
7 years ago, Odin visited his household and gifted him the seed of knowledge, a supreme seed second only to the seed of chaos and promised him that if Rudra could unlock it's powers, he could obtain any knowledge he desired.
While the cunning old man wasn't lying, the method of using the seed of knowledge was the most worrying as whenever Rudra tried to use it, he was put in a trance like state as knowledge, experiences and memories poured into his brain.
It was only now after coming into contact with a third seed that Rudra realised the negative effects of its power as he realised that the more one used the seed of knowledge, the more they lost their personality and decisiveness as the seed would pour their brains with so much information that one would eventually be reduced to a vegetable.
It was no different from running a computer which was meant to have 500 GB of memory and loading it with 499 GB of program.
With the software itself taking so much space, there was no space to store applications or run programs resulting in the computer itself slowing down and becoming non-functional.
This realisation made Rudra realise that he needed to create a buffer medium and extract the knowledge he needed and unfortunately the only way he could do so was by handing the stone over to another living individual.
Rudra would roam to border planets, one's with primitive life and offer the locals precious gems or weapons in exchange for prisoners to whom he would promise freedom if they agreed to do as told.
Not daring to use the stone himself, Rudra sacrificed over 1000 individuals to bit by bit extract information about the queen's physical location and repeated the process over 100 times just to make sure the stone wasn't deceiving him.
It was most unfortunate, but by a single use of the knowledge stone, weaker minded individuals turned into dumb 2 year old kids as Rudra's resentment for Odin increased everytime it ruined someone's life.
The old god was definitely scheming to bring Rudra down by handing him all these seeds as Rudra could not understand why he would do such a thing?
Nonetheless, with the tool that he was provided, he managed to figure out the physical storage location of the universal queen as well as some other important secrets of the universe that would help him prepare for the eventual showdown.
With him almost being confident in the kids returning to the controlled universe soon, Rudra knew that the time for his eventual fight was very close.
He needed to prepare thoroughly before then, however, with the help of the knowledge that he extracted from the seed of knowledge he was as confident as 70% in winning the fight and intended to increase it to at least 90% before engaging.
It was the first time that the greatest mastermind of the universe had worked on a plan to defeat an opponent for over 10 years.
He would be damned if she still stood a chance against him in the final fight.
