( Severus's POV )
Max's instructions for Severus were very clear.
Uptil the point where the war had not yet ended, Severus was to agitate small crowds and keep the topic fresh in public memory, but once the war was over, he was supposed to crash the victory party of the True Elites.
With the Universal Queen announcing a grand victory for the light faction, everyone was celebrating like there was no tomorrow.
One could see the optimism of the common people with their naked eyes, for them this event was ground-breaking, it was the end of all evil and it made Severus feel a little guilty for agitating them on this beautiful day, but he had to do what he had to do for ensuring the safe release of Max.
He walked into the dancing crowd of humans with his head hanging low.
Occasionally, there would be someone who would tug on his arm and ask him to dance with them, but Severus would decline politely as he would continue to move deeper and deeper into the Elite camp.
When he was near the centre, the area where the tents of the elders and guildmaster was located and where the victory party was the densest, he decided that this was the perfect spot for his speech.
Although the spot was dirty, ridden with fallen bits of food, sweat and alcohol which triggered Severus's cleanliness disorder making him wish that he could clean the spot first and then the whole elite camp, he suppressed the desire and focused on the task at hand.
Clearing his throat, he picked up a bottle of alcohol from the side and smashed it hard on the ground below to garner everyone's attention.
*CRASH*
The sound of the glass cracking made some heads turn with a teasing smile, but when they saw the serious visage of Severus they stopped dancing and paid attention to him for a second.
" Brothers from the True Elites guild….. " Severus said, his voice imbued with the magic of the Saint Maximus clan as he managed to bring the party to a screeching halt as everyone turned to pay attention to him.
" I apologise for ruining such a beautiful evening, but I have come here today because I have no other option-
I have come here today as a brother from the Bloodfall clan, a clan where many of you have fought shoulder to shoulder against the Mercenaries in this dimensional war, a clan that is headed by the younger brother of your guildmaster…. Max Rajput " Severus said with grief and desperation evident in his voice as it really seemed like he had no other option and had come here because it was the last resort.
" If you all don't already know, let me shed some light on the fact that it was Max that assisted his elder brother in the fight against Lucifer and created the barrier isolation spell that prevented the queen from interfering with the fight.
He put his life on the line to ensure that the light faction achieved this instrumental victory and yet, Shakuni's own brother is now imprisoned by the vampires because they refuse to accept him as one of their own.
He is imprisoned alongside the worst enemy of the vampires, the werewolves, and being treated as harshly as possible….. " Severus said as he dropped to his knees at this moment for maximum dramatic effect.
" I come here today to beg of you, please convince your guildmaster Neatwit to apply pressure on King Regus Aurelius for the safe release of our Lord Max….. " Severus said as he clapped his hands together and looked extremely pitiful.
Internally, because he was forced to kneel on a dirty surface he was literally feeling pitiful, which is why his acting seemed much more natural.
Blood dripped from his nose as he had addressed too large a crowd with his powers, but it only added to the theatrics as once his speech was over the outrage amongst the True Elites was unbelievable.
' HOW DARE THEY BULLY MAX? '
' THEY DARE BULLY THE GUILDMASTER'S BROTHER? DO THEY TAKE US AS WEAKLINGS? '
' WAR! THIS CALLS FOR WAR! '
' LET'S GO AND BURN IXTAL TO ASHES '
' MAX IS AN ELITE TOO, ONE FOR ALL AND ALL FOR ONE! NO WAY WE ARE LETTING HIM SUFFER! '.
Severus patiently listened to the public outrage and let their emotions snowball as within minutes the matter was brought to Neatwits attention and Severus was called into his office for a private meeting.
In the private meeting Severus explained in great depth the situation surrounding Max and Neatwit seemed fairly angry at Regus Aurelius's decision to imprison him.
Assuring Severus that he would not let this matter slide in the upcoming council meeting, he sent him on his way.
Satisfied, Severus left the elite camp with a smile on his face as the troops were no longer celebrating but rather talking about how they wanted to smash Regus Aurelius's face under their heels.
This public outrage was the best indicator that Severus had succeeded in his mission.

Just like how Severus had instructions to head to the Elite camp, Sebastian had instructions to go to the Angel camp and request an audience with Hazriel.
The angel camp was unlike any other camp Sebastian had seen so far and it rubbed him the wrong way as to how every angel that he laid his eyes on, whether male or female, both looked immaculately beautiful beyond the realms of common sense.
Not all of them had the perfect snow-white wings as some of them had light grey and some had dark grey, but their wing color aside their skin color was milky white and not a single one seemed to have a speck of hair on their face and body.
Sebastian with his thick beard stood out and was the centre of attention wherever he walked to, but it was the giggling of the women that saw him that bothered him the most.
' You haven't spent a night with me, this small man is a wonderful women pleaser in bed ' Sebastian thought internally as he proudly thought about his record of 2.1 seconds and walked with his chin held high.
