Max did wiggle his way into the council meeting between the dragon's and the Aurelius clan after requesting to attend.

The vampires seemed to have proposed a strategy that was 60% in-line with what the old man had suggested with a few modifications of their own.

It was a testament to the old man's strategic genius as although the vampire council had said at the time that they would not alter their plans after listening to his proposal, it seemed like they had changed it completely.

After debating the merits and demerits of his strategy they found that the old man's plan was way superior to their own and hence had begun building up on it.

Unbeknownst to Max, Regus had invited Rudra thrice to attend a strategy meeting luring him with various rewards however Rudra had refused to attend all three times much to the disappointment of Regus.

With the dragon's added to the battle equation on both sides, the plan needed further refinement which was being discussed in the meeting today.

Max refrained from making any big comments during the meeting as he mostly played the role of the spectator.

He was partially surprised by his Aunt Rhea and the boss-lady vibe she gave as for the first time in his life he was present in a room where Regus Aurelius did not appear to be the most threatening man.

Although curt and precise, Rhea said words with such conviction, anger and tone that cross-question was impossible.

Some weaker tier6 Aurelius gods trembled at her gaze, while her own dragon elders did not dare cut her off while she was speaking.

Max shared a personal bond with Rhea, he had been one of the few people to see her kind side and who had been acknowledged by Rhea, so he was not as intimidated by her presence as the others, however, he could see it in her gaze that if he dared to call her ' Aunt Rhea ' in this setting, she would absolutely eviscerate him.

' I see where Mira gets her temper from… ' Max thought as he wondered what kind of a man the late dragon king might be to have made such a woman his wife.

When he thought about it this way, he realised just how strong Lucifer had to be to have killed the dragon king and how such a powerful being stood on the side opposing the light faction.

While Max was daydreaming the discussion continued and finer details about the specific role of divisions was started to be discussed.

When the time came to decide which ground legion would back the dragon's up for their assault, Rhea who knew the tendency of her daughter requested the help of the fabled Bloodfall clan for this particular part and after confirming with Max, Regus agreed to this request.

Although it wasn't the strongest vampire force in terms of numbers or ground to air abilities, the Bloodfall clan was undoubtedly the most famous one after their countless victories.

With their army size numbering just over a million, they were not extremely useful in an all out brawl style fight anyways which is why Regus agreed for them to be deployed in such a special capacity.

It was a dangerous role, but since it was critical to both the victory of the vampires and for Mira on a personal level Max decided that he would do his best to take this challenge and fulfil it to the best of his abilities.

*******

( Meanwhile Sebastian )

After reaching the tier limit, Sebastian under Kremeth's guidance went for the classic promotion method under the Queen.

Kremeth did not want Sebastian to ideally take this method, however, he wasn't sure if Sebastian would be able to handle the old way like Max could.

He was afraid that Sebastian would fail the promotion test and die, hence he decided that it was best for Sebastian to take the promotion under the queen.

Although taking the promotion under the queen meant that Sebastian would be stuck with a compulsory system A.I. in his head, Kremeth knew of ways to remove the A.I. that were less dangerous than Sebastian risking his life to be promoted.

Considering all these factors he decided to give Sebastian some tips on how to get promoted and send him on his merry way.

Unlike Mira, Sebastian's promotion could be considered absurd at best.

He strongly advocated the principles of the way of the coward during his time on the various mana-less planets that the queen sent him on and due to his treasures like the necromancer's ring and his tendency to go for overkills for small threats, his perception became that of the god of death on the planets that he went on.

He was seen as an envoy who preached the importance of preserving life and exertion of extreme caution ( Cowardice ) to preserve it.

As well as the god who claimed lives and was the ruler of hell.

Accidentally, the principles he commanded were such absolutes that he was able to gain a massive loyal following extremely fast.

Everyone had a survival instinct within them and everyone feared death.

It were absolutes that were not going to change for millions of years and hence although he did nothing to cement his position as an absolute god, he passed with an ' S ' rating overall which he was very pleased with.

Naturally, the queen planted him with an A.I. upon his promotion before sending him back into the universe.

As he returned a god, Kremeth felt a huge load being lifted off his shoulders as with Sebastian becoming a god all three of his disciples had now achieved divinity.

As a master, this was a moment of great pride for him as it just went to show how effective his training was on the younglings when they were nothing but tier1 tier2 fledglings.

Now if he transferred and taught his weakest but favourite disciple the Vayu-Astra and its powers, he could finally retire as a happy old turtle.
