Chapter 1027 Tier9

( Odin's POV )

Odin felt an overwhelming sense of pride when he saw Max at the Rajput Capital in his full glory.

The aura Max emanated was close to that of the perfect warrior himself and the calm in his eyes told Odin that Max was confident in beating the perfect warrior.

" My lord, your loyal servant Odin is here at your request" Odin said as he bowed humbly before Max, who still found Odin's antics to be funny.

" Well, you never know Odin. I'm your lord today but maybe it's Kartikeya tomorrow" Max said in reply as he dismissed Odin's loyalty.

" It's not like that…." Odin said trying to defend his honour, however, his history had been so chaotic that he could not even properly defend his character.

" Anyways, I'll need your vitality to complete my core formation. Hopefully that's okay?" Max said as Odin nodded his head in acknowledgement.

" I'll try my best, supreme lord, but there's a chance the perfect warrior cuts me off.

You need to be prepared for emergencies incase he does" Odin said as Max nodded his head and assured Odin that he had already taken failsafe measures.

" I'm sure that you of all people understand that if I'm able to kill the perfect warrior, he won't die unless…." Max said as Odin nodded his head and signalled that he understood.

" I'm ready to sacrifice my life the second that I feel that the perfect warrior is dead.

I've lived long enough and have no desire to live any longer" Odin assured as Max believed his words, however, decided to place a fail safe clause behind this option as well.

" I'm not doing this to offend you or to question your morals, however, I'm barring your exit from these grounds for the next 6 months.

If my faith in myself is true, I will defeat the perfect warrior within my first three attempts which by my estimations will take 6 months at most.

Although I trust that you will take your life when the time comes, I'm going to tell the queen to kill you just in case you don't do it yourself.

Either way, I'm taking no chances Odin. One way or another, you die" Max said as he disallowed Odin to leave the Rajput Capital training grounds for the next six months.

" Ofcourse, this is not a prison and I won't hold you here indefinitely.

If I'm unable to beat the perfect warrior within six months, then yes, I'll let you go free and trust that when the time comes you will still kill yourself " Max said as he assured Odin that he would not hold him forever and that he would let him go if it took longer than six months.

Odin sighed, however, he too understood Max's concerns as he peacefully resigned to his fate.

" My only wish is that you make a memorial from my remains on the Rajput Capital.

Something like you did for your master Kremeth" Odin requested as Max nodded and promised him a grand memorial.

With the formalities done, Max sat down cross legged and began his core formation procedure as Odin and the queen sat behind him and began supplying his body with vitality.

The first core that Max tried to form was that of his own, because it was the harder process compared to just accepting a constructed core.

To do so, he began to compress his liquid soul vessel, putting an enormous amount of pressure on it so that the space between the soul essence compressed and turned from liquid to solid.

Naturally, the process of forcefully changing the shape of one's soul was extremely unstable and immediately the backlash from the process threatened to rip apart every strand of Max's body, however, because of how sturdy his body was, coupled with the constant vitality injection by Odin and the queen, Max managed to withstand the backlash and continue with the procedure.

" Easy now…. Easy, you're doing well, but make sure to not damage your soul vessel.

The entirety of your vessel cannot bear the load of the compression which is why you must cut loose two smaller parts of your soul to reduce the surface area" Odin reminded as he monitored Max's progress and guided him through the process of forming a core.

*Gahhh*

*Umgpfh*

Max made painful noises as he pushed the compression of the liquid soul essence to its limit and felt his soul vessel pushing back with all its might.

At this point he could feel that the soul vessel of his was at its limit and that if he wished to compress his soul any more, he first needed to reduce the volume he was working with as for his soul vessel to not crack.

*Bzzzzzz*

A white mist like soul essence escaped through his mouth and flew straight out of the Rajput Capital and into the wider universe as Max successfully cut a small part of his soul and detached it to deal with the karmic balance of the universe.

The second part that he detached was transferred to Mira with his soul link.

Mira, who was seated with another one of the queen's avatar received Max's soul essence in a guarded and safe environment and in a way that Odin or no other soul in the universe found out that she was his chosen soulmancer.

Finally, as the volume of his soul essence decreased, he finally found enough space to consolidate the unstable compressed liquid core into a stable solid core as Max successfully solidified his first soul core with relative ease.

" Quick, carry on with the second core procedure" Max said as the queen quickly retrieved the second celestial core, opened Max's body and placed it within.

Immediately, the soul core appeared within Max's soul space and began constructing a soul vessel around itself as it implanted itself deeply within Max's body.

Unbelievable pain paralysed every inch of Max's body, but he bravely fought past it and managed to shed off two small parts of the already solidified soul core before his second soul vessel formed around it.

Just like Mira, Sebastian who was connected to Max via a soul link before the procedure began, received this broken soul core with the queen's help, while the other piece was cut loose into the universe to take the karmic imbalance along with itself.

In this way, in just under six hours, Max managed to completely form his two soul cores as just like Rudra, he felt the universe now forcing him out of its embrace and into the celestial realm, as Max needed to fight tooth and nail just to stay within the controlled universe for even a few seconds longer.

" Congratulations on achieving tier9 my lord…." Odin said as he congratulated Max on a successful ascension and it was only then that Max noticed that Odin seemed to have aged a thousand years as a result of the procedure.

He looked like an old man with balding white hair and saggy skin with spots as looking at him Max felt like he had just lost 99% of his vitality.

" Thanyou-" Max said as he acknowledged Odin's effort in helping him reach this realm and then stormed off to say goodbye to his family one last time.
