"Congratulation Saahira. Now you are an SSS Rank Legacy holder," Alex said with a bright smile as he walked toward her.
Alex's words seemed to pierce through the cloud of confusion in her eyes. However, instead of displaying sheer joy or relief, Saahira gazed at him and began silently muttering.

Alex caught her gently as she began to fall backward and carefully laid her on the chamber floor.
Alex sat beside her, a contented smile gracing his face because a great possibility of failure was always present despite his confidence in Saahira.

"Sir, Thank you, Thank you so much for everything," Saahira said, her voice breaking as tears of joy filled her eyes.
Saahira sat there as the realization of her newfound status began to settle in, and she couldn't help but shed tears that welled up in her eyes, reflecting a mix of emotions.

Alex kept silent and let Saahira collect her emotions, and when she recovered from her initial emotional turmoil, her face held a carefree, bright smile as she began to tell him about the trial.
The trial went exactly the same till the moment bandits arrived, and Saahira was required to use the summoning magic at the cost of her life to save the villager.
As the trial required, she did use it, but the following events happened completely differently than what he knew.
After using the spell, Instead of summoning an Aldrich white flame phoenix and taking her last breath while watching the bandits burn to ash, Saahira underwent a transformation.
She was encased in robs of white flame, wings of pure white fire spread from her back, and a crown of flame appeared on her head, with an intricately designed staff appearing in her hand.
She was wielding such strength she couldn't fathom as any arrows, spear, or magic attack thrown by bandits turned to ash as they got near her, and without any effort, she killed all of them.
The trial didn't end there because after killing the bandits and the villagers, she decided to sacrifice her life to protect them, and instead of thanking her, they started to curse at her, calling her the cursed child, saying they should have killed her when she was born.
In that instant, all the tormenting memories flooded back, and her mind echoed with the idea of putting an end to their lives. Her once newfound pride felt tainted by their hurtful words. She saw them as mere nuisances that could be easily extinguished by her will.

Saahira, with a smile on her quickly nodded and agreed to the contract without spending any time reading it.
"Use this Ring to change your status," Alex said, throwing her a disguise ring before moving toward the crack to leave this place for good.
Alex and Saahira rode on the bird to reach the capital city, Nova, and from there, he went to a hotel, waiting for Feldar to contact him while she returned to Malefis Domain.

In the well-lit hotel room, two men sat opposed to each other, having cups of tea placed before them.
"You have my gratitude for saving my sister's life, and to pay the debt of saving her life, I am willing to give away my most precious treasure that I thought would stay with me until my last breath." Feldar began as he took out a fist-sized orb and placed it on the table.
Alex's eyes widened as he laid his gaze upon it. The orb was a magnificent creation, made from pristine crystal with a dark black and purple miasmic mist swirling mysteriously inside it.
"The Elemental Ruler who saved the city of Molentia from the demons was Elincia Rardinthril, the Master of the StormBearer faction from the Thunder Knight Order."
"After using some connections to get an audience with her, I found out she went to the city because of her niece, Telyssa Rardinthril, who asked her to do so at a time when other, more important cities were under siege, and this was all thanks to a timely call of help from you."
"So not only did you save my sister's life once, but twice. And with her, you saved many other innocent lives." Feldar said and continued after moments of silence.
"I hope the Voidweaver's Orb fulfills your requirements, and as for the payment of it, consider it more than paid with the debt I owe you, and even if in the future you need my help, don't hesitate to contact me," Feldar said as he stood offering a handshake.
Alex was prepared to offer tens of legendary items, gold coins, Honor Points, and anything he could get his hands on to get the Voidweaver's Orb, and if Feldar hadn't offered it himself, he was ready to use some force.
But seeing Feldar's willingness to not earn anything back on his treasured item made him keep silent and refrain from even offering some compensation to not undermine his sacrifice and genuine appreciation.
Alex returned the handshake, his heart filled with a profound sense of gratitude and respect for the man willing to part away with his strongest treasure to repay a debt.
