The demon invasion brought overwhelming fear and uncertainty to everyone on the human continent, and even though the higher echelons tried their best to calm the common folks, not telling them about their inability to do anything about the barrier.

But it didn't take long for the news of the restrictions the barriers posed to spread among the people, and after hearing about the failed attempts to breach the barrier by the imperial forces, it only fanned the flames of dread and helplessness.

The Human Empire and any mighty power were gripped with panic and uncertainty, knowing that demons coming through the portals were mere scouts or cannon fodder and the true demon army was yet to arrive.

All major powers deployed their best troops and weapons, but their options were severely limited, with the barrier preventing anyone stronger than Fifth Rank from entering.

The Empire assembled the largest army humanity had seen in ages to purge the demons and hopefully destabilize the portal fast enough before any greater demon arrived.

While all the chaos was happening, Alex marked the underground ruins with a teleportation marker before he made his way toward the main city of Thunder Knights to meet General Telyssa.

------------------

Alex met with Lady Telyssa, who told him about the current situation of the barrier and the movement of the demons before taking him to a meeting.

Now, Alex stood beside her in a room filled with higher echelons of the Thunder Knigth Order, who sat before a giant roundtable with seven seats, occupied by Six Major Generals, each representing a different faction, while a High Elder occupied the head seat.

The atmosphere in the room was tense and somber, with every Order member present wearing expressions of deep concern and worry.

The news of the barrier's restriction and the relentless demon invasion had spread like wildfire, leaving everyone feeling vulnerable and unsure of the future.

"We find ourselves facing an unprecedented threat, and if the two Demon portals are not closed in time, it will result in the human continent getting plunged into a great war." The High Elder spoke, his voice resonating with concern and gravity.

"The High Elders are scouring the archives for any information that may be relevant to help us breach the barrier while every other major power is doing the same, so hopefully, we can find a solution in time,"

"But until then, we can't just stay idle, and after some discussion, we have a plan that is quite risky but is truly our only option,"

"The plan requires Six individuals chosen by their faction, who will be given a single scroll carrying a Un-Ranked spell of space element,"

"The scroll holds the ancient magic "Singularity Collapse" that will create a tiny black hole that will destabilize the space before it collapses on itself, causing a surrounding pocket of space to implode."

"The scroll requires no mana to activate, but once activated, it will require three minutes to manifest the black hole and execute its purpose,"

"The chosen individuals will be required to use the scroll as close as possible to the demon portal assigned to them with a maximum distance of three hundred meters."

"You brave warriors will be going to the most dangerous place inside the barrier, and the chance of death is high but not certain because the order will make sure of it if however you die, then just remember that your death will be for a noble cause, and you will be remembered as heroes for eternity."

"Generals, I leave the rest to you," The High Elder said, looking around the room at the assembled generals and their trusted faction members standing beside them.

The High Elder stood up and took out six old, tattered-looking scrolls from his space ring, which floated toward the six generals before he vanished from the room.

Alex stood in silence, understanding he had just been assigned a major task that he wasn't expecting, but he sure wasn't complaining.

'This task is such a great opportunity for me, and if luck is on my side, I could accomplish it and earn a widespread reputation even though chances of success will be meager.' Alex thought, thrilled at the given task.

The demon invasion had started much faster than Alex wanted, making him change the totality of his previous plan and speed up everything else to still benefit from the situation.

"Telyssa, I still suggest you reconsider your decision," one of the Major Generals said as he stood up, ready to leave.

Lady Telyssa just smiled, and the general shook his head before taking his leave with the other four generals and their chosen members following behind them, and moments later, only Alex and Telyssa were left n the giant room.

"So, Are you ready to surprise me once more," Lady Telyssa said with a bright smile.

"Lady Telyssa, I can't make any promises," Alex replied.

After the meeting ended, Lady Telyssa told Alex the plan and how he would be reaching close to one of the demon portals while also giving him rare treasures that he could utilize to save his life.

Alex stayed half an hour with Lady Telyssa discussing the finer details of the plan before leaving for the Dorthon Mountain Range.

After some time, Alex stood at the edge of a towering cliff looking at the massive pitch-dark barrier shaped like a globe stretching for tens of kilometers in the distance.

It was an ominous sight, shrouding the horizon with its impenetrable presence, and before the barrier, a grand army stood at the ready, with gargantuan flying warships hovering in the sky and a vast ground force awaiting their orders.

The scene before Alex was one of awe and terror. The demon invasion had drawn together a colossal army, the likes of which had not been seen for centuries. The assembled forces stretched for miles, a sea of warriors and war machines ready to face the impending storm.

The sky was filled with massive flying warships, each one a testament to the might of the respective kingdoms and factions.

The largest and most majestic of them all was the crown gem of the Human Empire, the "White Doomsday." It dwarfed the other warships, adorned with gleaming white armor and bearing the symbol of the Empire on its enormous sails.

Among the assembled armies, three stood apart, representing the powerful kingdoms of the continent.

The "Ice Kingdom" had an army of warriors clad in shimmering ice-blue armor, known as the "Frostguard Legion." They were masters of ice magic and wielded icy weapons with none riveling them in their magic.

The "Gold Kingdom" had an army of elite soldiers called the "Golden Lions," distinguished by their golden armor adorned with lion motifs. They were fierce and disciplined warriors known for their unyielding loyalty and unrelenting tenacity on the battlefield.

The "Darkness Kingdom" boasted the "Wraith Guards," an army of stealthy and deadly warriors skilled in the art of darkness and shadows cloaked in black armor and hooded cloaks.

But towering above them all was the "White Flame Empire" stood tall, with regiments that were not only awe-inspiring in their uniqueness but also exuded power that sent shivers down the spines of their enemies.

The "Aurora Valkyries" were a sight to behold, riding atop majestic white griffins adorned in shimmering silver armor and ethereal aura that made them resemble divine beings descending from the heavens.

As they soared through the skies, their spears glowed with the iridescent colors of the aurora borealis, leaving trails of mesmerizing light behind.

On the ground, the "Titan's Vanguard" stood in their majesty, their black and gold armor gleaming under the sun, with each warrior wielding a massive Warhammer that seemed to crackle with power.

The "Crimson Seraphs," on the other hand, were an order of battle mages, their crimson robes flowing like tongues of flame with their staff adorned with pulsating red runes commanding the concept of fire.

There were other armies belonging to the mercenary guild, private armies of Noble houses, and a vast number of players standing at the back, waiting for the march to start.

A man riding a pure white dragon stood at the helm of this gargantuan army that surrounded the dark barrier, accompanied by a few other individuals of power, whom Alex instantly recognized as the second prince of the white flame empire.
