"Thanks for being a good opponent," Alex said as he created a darkness spear that he launched into the head of the snow lion bound in dark chains.
The fight with the snow lion was not difficult for Alex, as he only used two spells to toy with the unlucky lion and killed him in three minutes without taking any damage.
'I should start doing the Ruler missions to complete the first Rank Domain Connection promotion quest and gain that juicy reward of a 4000 stat increase in intelligence.'
'Now that I think about it, there were a few missions that I should be able to complete right now as I complete my Rank promotion quest.' Alex thought as he quickly opened the Ruler mission panel.
After looking at the six available missions, Alex selected one that perfectly fits his current situation.

'There is one more mission that requires me to reach First Rank, so I should complete this mission first and then accept that one before clearing the promotion quest as this way, I will complete two of ten missions required for the First Rank Domain Connection quest.' Alex thought as he sprinted toward the old woods area.

Alex was standing in front of a giant cave entrance at the base of a giant ice mountain range, and all around him were tens of dead bodies belonging to snow-white humanoid apes, and their blood was covering the snow-covered ground.
'This clan of Yetis was the biggest challenge I faced today, but it was also the most fun.' Alex thought as he drank advanced-grade mana and a health potion for recovery.
'This marks the ninth Second Rank Creature that I have killed. Now I just need to kill the frost bison to complete the most difficult condition of the promotion quest.' Alex thought, looking at the dead Yeti before him.
'Let's collect the loot.' Alex thought as he moved forward to touch the body of Yeti's clan leader to take the loot, but before he even touched it, he heard a thundering roar from above.
'What the?' Alex thought, shocked, as he looked above and saw a giant creature with towering height covered in blue lightning standing at the entrance of a cave high above the ice mountain.
"ROOOAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR"
Alex jumped back to save himself from getting crushed by whatever that creature was, seeing him leap into the air and descend toward his location.
"BOOOOM"
Alex used his sword to stabilize his footing and immediately used appraisal on the creature to see what kind of enemy he was facing.
'This is just f***ing awesome.' Alex thought as he checked the nightmarish creature's state window.

'At least he is in the boundaries of Second Rank even though his stats match what a third Rank creature should have.' Alex thought after checking the Yeti stats.
'The Yeti could control a mutated varient of lightning with the added attribute of ice element, and this alone will make him more challenging to fight than any of the previous nine opponents.' Alex thought as looking at the abnormal Yeti who stood silently looking at the dead body of the Yeti clan leader.
The Yeti (Valkush) looked like a mix of Yeti and Human as he stood eight feet tall with a muscular build, with his physique closely matching a human warrior with well-toned muscle covered in thick white Furr.
'Let's get this over with.' Alex thought as he slowly walked toward the silently standing Yeti while slowly creating the magic circle of the Corrosion Beam spell.

The Beast looked toward the human walking toward him and roared with anger as the blue electricity on his arms started to visibly thicken, but Alex had a smile on his face as he heard a system notification that he was waiting for with anticipation.

'My lovely title with its broken effect.' Alex thought as he used the required mana to complete his unfinished magic spell, and instantly a thick beam of concentrated darkness was launched at the enraged Yeti standing a few meters away.

The Corrosion Beam hit the Yeti straight on his chest, pushing him back by a few steps while going a good chunk of damage, and then the darkness of the beam started to spread like a virus on his body, doing constant damage.

Alex didn't wait for the Yeti to recover from the corrosive energy eating and destroying his flesh and instantly casted the Darkness Blast spell.
In just a few moments, the magic circle was completed, and then a tiny orb of darkness appeared on the palm of Alex's left hand, which slowly increased in size and density and became as big as a football.
Alex tossed the orb using his physical strength, making it zip through the air like a cannon and crash at the feet of the Yeti.
"BOOOMMM"
The moment the Dark orb touched the hard ground, it exploded with high intensity and covered the twenty feet radius in a circle.

'This was a good start.' Alex thought as he casted the Darkness Spear, instantly creating five spears of darkness, making them float around him as he silently waited for the darkness in the area to dissipate.
After waiting a few seconds, the darkness was gone, and the Yeti was revealed who stood at his location like a statue staring toward Alex with bloody red eyes filled with Rage.
'This is unexpected.' Alex thought, seeing the Yeti's revealing a menacing smile as Blue Elemental fire covered his chest, destroying the corrosive energy eating at his flesh.
Alex quickly fired all five darkness spears at the Yeti that the creature took head-on, not even making an effort to block or avoid them.

'This is going to get ugly.' Alex thought, looking at the Yeti who had his torso protected by ice armor with blue lightning flowing on it.
Alex calmly gripped his pitch-dark long sword and used the Blade Intent skill covering his blade in thin white edge, and then he used the Chains Of Darkness spell, making seven snake-like long chains appear around him.
"BOOM"
The Yeti sprinted in Alex's direction and appeared before him, swinging his fist with nothing but brute strength, but he was stopped in his tracks as the chains of darkness coiled around his body, immobilizing him.
Alex didn't miss the opportunity, and using all his strength, he thrust his sword straight toward the Yeti's eyes, but even though he was quick in his attack, the Yeti had a faster reaction, and by slightly moving his head upward, he avoided the critical attack.
'He is more intelligent than I thought.' Alex thought, seeing his sword pierce the cheek of the Yeti and get blocked by the dense bone of his skull.
'Oh, No.' Alex thought as he saw the Yeti opening his mouth wide open, and without hesitation, Alex pulled back his sword and immediately used the first Rank Darkness Shield spell.
"ROOOOAAARRRRRR"
"BOOOMMM"
The Yeti had used his Glacial Lightning Breath, and as the skill was used without charging, Darkness Shield prepared by Alex was enough to neutralize it completely, but because of the close range, it was still strong enough to push Alex back by twenty meters.
'I need to engage in close combat because, with his massive hp pool, my mana will be gone by the time he loses just a third of it.' Alex thought, seeing the Yeti cover his hands in blue elemental flame and destroy the darkness chains with a bit of effort and brute strength.
'I will go with that safety plan.' Alex thought.
"Hey, ugly mug, the old Buffon laying dead over there. Is he your Father or something because he was pretty weak, just like you." Alex said out loud, taunting the Yeti to make him lose his sanity and go berserk.
