Alex took the ring and scanned all the records in it with the help of the system to organize and translate all the information.
There was a lot of information, but most of it was useless to Alex, as 60% of it was about a sub-ability of Refinement called [Bloodline Refinement], and its results on hundreds of Beastmens and their gains in great detail.
The remaining 35% of information was about a sub-ability called [Selective Refinement] as its name implied it could be used to refine a selective part of a much larger thing.
But All of the information on [Selective Refinement] was related to Beastmen Bloodline and their results.
The remaining 5% of information was about the other abilities of Ancient Artifact, which was the most useful information to Alex, and he silently spent the next ten minutes checking it.
'This information is incomplete, and most of it is useless, but at least now I know what ability I need to unlock that could hopefully cure the Devourer Curse.' Alex thought.
The Selective Refinement ability could be used to cure diseases or any abnormal condition, but there was very little information on it to confirm if it could cure something at the level of Devourer Curse without using the complete artifact.
'I need to quickly unlock the skills of the Red Gem to see if the restricted version of the [Selective Refinement] could cure the Devourer Curse.' Alex thought as he closed the system panel.
The biggest problem Alex found was that all the information recorded by the Beastmen was from the complete Ancient Artifact, making it impossible to determine to what level the abilities of the Red gem would be limited.
"Domain Ruler, We do not have any way to locate the Archaic Ring, and without it, the artifact's abilities will be very limited, making it very inefficient, but I believe I might have a solution to this issue," Azgral said, seeing Alex closing the system screen.
"You want to replace the Archaic Ring with the Nexus Bracelet," Alex asked, making a guess.
"The Nexus Bracelet is made to replicate the Archaic Ring, and it functions very similarly, and I don't know if it will work as this is never tried, at least not to my knowledge, but trying it shouldn't be an issue," Azgral said as he moved the black bracelet toward Alex.
'I know what you are trying to achieve, but if it benefits me, I have no problem with it.' Alex thought as he picked up the bracelet and opened its state window.
'This is a good accessory for any Mage category class, but I have seen much better at the peak legendary quality.' Alex thought, looking at the bracelet state window.
'Let's first wear it, then check its downgraded stats.' Alex thought as he removed the right glove of the armor and then wore the bracelet.
'The state boosts are good, and even though there is only one skill, it is a good one.' Alex thought, looking at the bracelet's newly adjusted state window.

'Let's see if it is compatible with the Red Gem and could do the work of the Archaic Ring.' Alex thought as he took out the Red gem and placed it in the empty space in the middle of the bracelet.
At first, nothing happened, which disappointed everyone in the room, but as Alex was about to pick up the Red gem, a jolt of shock went through his body, making him blackout for a moment.
'What... What just happened.' Alex thought, returning to his senses while feeling light-headed and nauseous.
"Domain Ruler, The Ancient Red gem sapped you out of all your Mana to complete and is still doing it to complete whatever it is doing," Darrien said while placing his hand on Alex's shoulder.
'This explains why I feel drained out of life.' Alex thought, looking at the shining Red Gem covered in an uncountable number of micro runes and the black bracelet with a similar look.
Darrien was directly supplying Alex with pure and refined mana making him recover his mana at a crazy speed, but it was being sucked out of him by the Ancient red gem at a smiler speed.
After ten minutes of not-so-good experience for Alex, the Red gem stopped absorbing mana and returned to normal, with the only difference being that the bracelet was silty changed to perfectly hold the red gem in the center.
"It looks like it worked?" Alex thought, seeing the flawlessly looking bracelet with a crimson gem perfectly fitted in the middle.
Alex quickly opened the stats of the new bracelet, and as he had hoped, there were many significant changes to the artifact stats windows.
'This looks different, but the stats are essentially the same with no new skills unlocked.' Alex thought, looking at the newly changed stat window.

"As for the deal you want to make about the Monarch Legacy Tomb, I will tell you about it in one month when I meet Yanric to complete the procedure of opening the business," Alex said as he stood ready to leave.
Alex understood Azgral wanted the Ancient Artifact not just to cure his son but to increase his clan's overall strength, but because of the current situation, he doesn't have any choice but to agree to any of his demands.
"I appreciate your kindness," Azgral said as he stood up and offered a handshake.
After the handshake with Azgral, Alex left the room and went straight toward his hotel as he was eager to do some tests on the newly gained artifact.
After Alex left the room, it stayed silent for a few seconds as every member of the Beastmen group enjoyed the feeling of being alive, and a young lady asked the question in every member's mind.
"Father, Who was that person." A female standing behind Azgral asked in a shallow and trembling voice.
"A lucky Immortal Adventurer who now controls enough strength to completely decimate the beast continent without any chance of failure," Azgral replied as he relaxed on the sofa, not going into the details.
"Why were you calling him the Domain Ruler, and even that proud Human Emperor talked to him respectively, and what is even Malefis Domain." The lady said.
"You will know when you reach the Elemental Ruler Rank, as you might have the chance to visit that magical place," Azgral said, not telling any details.
'The situation didn't escalate for the worse, but my first impression was not good while that bastard Human Emperor should have already started his plan to be the good side of that kid.' Azgral thought as he sighed in relief.
'Luckily, we have the advantage of the business deal, and if handled correctly, my clan could gain the excess to the Malefis Domain.' Azgral thought as he tried to come up with a plan to get on the good side of Alex.
