“Shut up, Elusia!” Carulla shouted.

They had defeated the God-queen and obtained the Ruler of Gods’ Staff, but so far, the Ascension had not happened, which left Li Yi feeling frustrated. His intuition, however, informed him that the secret of a mortal becoming god seemed to be related to the Ruler of Gods’ Staff in his hand.

Elusia was dumbfounded.

When Li Yi used the Ruler of Gods’ Staff to knock on the head of Elusia, strange purple damage numbers materialized above her head.

“No! Don’t touch me with that, stop it, right now!” Elusia screamed in horror.
Li Yi was surprised and knocked once more. A line of 700,000 purple damage numbers appeared above her head again.
Elusia had only one HP left, obviously not the same as the damage done by the Ruler of Gods’ Staff. However, she did not appear to be wounded. Why was she so scared?
“Explain this.”
Li Yi knocked twice and harder than before.
“Cease... Cease...”
“Tell me, tell me!” He hit twice again.
Torturing the gods felt good. When he recalled their snobbish faces and arrogant attitudes, he felt even better.
“You are deducting my max HP with the Ruler of God’s Staff. If you continue, my max HP will be permanently reduced. The process is irreversible...”

“This is good stuff, hahaha!” Li Yi laughed heartily a few times and pointed to Carulla with the staff, “Now, your turn to enlighten me. Where is the Ruler of Gods?”
“You are not worthy to meet the Ruler of Gods.” Carulla gritted her teeth.
“Whack!”
He bashed her once more with the Ruler of Gods’ Staff, and her max HP was reduced by 100 million.
“You...”
“Wham!”
It was another strike.
“The Ruler of Gods is not here,” Carulla said softly.
“You don’t say? Obviously, I know that the man is not here. Why else would I be asking you? Where is the guy?” Li Yi raised the staff.
Carulla pointed to the direction of the golden seat. “In the Inner Palace.”
“Get up and lead the way!”
Li Yi pointed the Ruler of Gods’ Staff at Carulla and the Evil God, asking them to lead the way.
The Mountain approached Li Yi. “Dark Wing, I don’t think you’ve noticed but... someone is missing.”
“Someone?”
Li Yi looked around and his eyes narrowed.
He had been focused on the fight with the gods, and only now realized that Ghostly Walker had disappeared!
“Where’s Ghostly Walker?”
“Haven’t seen him.”
“He was here a while ago, how did he disappear in the blink of an eye?”
Fluttering Snow Purple Water Chestnut and Qian’er were equally as surprised.
Carulla pointed at the golden seat as they were speaking. “You only need to turn the chair to enter the Inner Palace.”
“Turn it then!” Li Yi scowled.
Carulla and the Evil God worked together to slowly move the golden seat.
A secret entrance emerged from the wall.
“Don’t go in!”
Just as Li Yi and the others were preparing to enter the secret entrance, the Hunter Goddess suddenly came out of the bow and stood in the way.
