Another weird cry was let loose, and a pair of green shoes wobbled out of the pile. It was heading towards the fake.
‘The b*stard can change shoes!’
Li Yi activated his Rocket Propellant and blasted ahead, intercepting the green shoes mid-way.
“It’s not that easy to flee from me!”

The green shoes involuntarily took a few steps back. At the same time, another damage counter popped up from its head.
“Squeak! Attack!”
Dolly, who had been accompanying Li Yi, had also noticed something odd about the shoes. With that, she raised her tiny bow and launched her attacks at the shoes.
The fake Dark Wing and Dolly’s attack had never paused, but due to Li Yi purposely maintaining a low mana level, the fakes were never able to unleash any powerful skills. All they could do was fire normal arrows which made Li Yi’s task of avoiding them much, much easier.
After taking a few hits, the green shoes returned to the pile of shoes and put on yellow ones instead. When Li Yi fired his arrows at the shoes, the arrows had been ‘sent’ back to him.
Li Yi immediately issued a command. “Dolly, halt your attacks.”
It seemed that the tactics of the battle would change with the color of the shoes.
Li Yi then tested out his attacks on the other shoes, and much to his joy, the pile of shoes could actually be destroyed.
Wham! Whack! Bam...
A pair of red shoes had been utterly destroyed by Li Yi.
“Curse you! Do not destroy my beloved shoes!”
The yellow shoes roared as it rushed towards the pile of shoes in an attempt to protect them with its own body.
Li Yi ran in circles, attacking only the shoes that were unused and ignoring the yellow shoes.
A moment later, a majority of the colorful shoes had been crushed by Li Yi, and only a pair of green shoes and a pair of red shoes remained.
It was at this point that Li Yi finally stopped his attacks.
As the yellow shoes had possessed the property of ‘deflecting’ all attacks, what option would Li Yi be left with had he destroyed all the remaining shoes?
All Li Yi did now was to evade all attacks and had stayed his hand while he dodged all the attacks.
A while later, he spotted some slight movement from the red shoes, and he immediately heaved a sigh of relief. He fired a rapid barrage of shots at the yellow shoes, and before long, he had destroyed the pair of yellow shoes as well.
Through his observations, he had learned that when the transparent humanoid wore the red shoes, the attacks of the fakes would increase. Whereas when the humanoid wore the green shoes, its movement speed would increase, and as for the yellow shoes, they would deflect all attacks.
“Wham!”
The final pair of green shoes had been destroyed by Li Yi.
“Damned mortal! As punishment for destroying my beloved shoes, I will have your soul!”
A howl of fury could be heard, and it was then that the fake Dark Wing shouted out, unleashing a Chrono Territory of his own.
“Chrono Territory Release!”
Sensing that the situation was dire, Li Yi unleashed a Chrono Territory of his own. Simultaneously, Li Yi had also willed for time to speed up.

As a Legendary Pet, Dolly’s deductive skills were not that much weaker than Li Yi’s. She had also seen through the stage’s tricks, and in order to reduce the pressure piled onto her master, she began to attack the fake Dolly.
With that, the two Dollys returned to egg form, resurrected, returned to egg form, and the process constantly repeated itself...
Although Dolly had not contributed much damage-wise, she had removed a considerable foe from the battlefield for Li Yi.

Li Yi peered ahead for a few seconds and spotted a silver silhouette entering the palace ahead.
‘From how the silhouette looks, the person is probably Fluttering Snow Purple Water Chestnut.’
Li Yi headed to the palace ahead as well...
There were ten palaces in total, and now that he had cleared two of them, there were still eight more to go.
Li Yi sent a voice message to Fluttering Snow Purple Water Chestnut. “Yo, Purple, have you seen Ghostly Walker or the Weapon Warrior by any chance?”

The third palace’s name was called the Great Earth God’s Palace and be it in its architecture or the imposing aura it exuded, it far surpassed that of the previous two palaces.
Li Yi did not linger for too long. Moments after Fluttering Snow Purple Water Chestnut had entered the Great Earth God’s Palace, he too entered it.
The Earth God’s palace was laced with earthly Divine Power, and the environment was constantly shifting along with the Earth God’s Divine Power.
Level ground became mountains before becoming an erupting boulder and returning to level ground again. The cycle constantly repeated itself, endlessly...
Li Yi trod carefully. He walked at a snail’s pace, and he made sure to observe all of the earth’s changes before trudging forward.
The only time when Li Yi could proceed forward was when the ground had leveled out. Whenever it turned into mountains, or boulders, or even quicksand, they were unpassable. If Li Yi were to accidentally slip into these environments, he feared that he would never be able to escape.
“I am the Great Earth God and I possess the Divine Power of Earth. I can create land as easily as I can demolish it. I am the mightiest god within the Pantheon...”
A Dwarf wearing flamboyant clothes and was barely a meter tall appeared, and in its hands was a scepter that was even taller than it.
