Eve could see that Adam was quite septikal about her words and she could understand him.
But this was all the more why she needed him to understand.

There was an unmistakable amount of pride in Eve's voice as she spoke those words. And her eyes even twinkled as she gazed at her newest family member.

Generally, only primordial gods of a particular pantheon had the same authority as Adam. In fact, 'The World' was so unique that most gods would salivate at the mere thought of acquiring such a skill.

Being immortal with no one close to you to actually share that immortality was heart wrecking.
But soon…she was sure that her family would be once again reunited.
Adam had many questions about his powers, 'Adaptation,' 'Eternal Damnation,' and so many more of his plethora of skills. But he was in no hurry to get the answers.
As long as he didn't open a book in the bronze section, he could stay here for around a year or even more.
Perhaps it was time for him to settle down for some time and think about his future without having to stress about anything else.
He could also put some work into increasing his basic combat skills. This would undoubtedly decrease the overall time he could spend in this place, as each strenuous action simply decreased the capacity of his soul, but it would certainly be useful for him in the future.

Adam smiled awkwardly, wondering if talking about marriage and children was truly the only thing that old people could think about when speaking.
