Upon seeing this, the man smiled but didn’t try to stop her. After he watched her leave, he ordered: “Check her background.”
“Yes.” Though there was no one around, someone responded.
Feng Jiu returned to the carriage and said to Xuanyuan Mo Ze: “I bought twelve, four in the kitchen and eight in the courtyards. I think that should be enough.”
“Well, the people you choose are usually good.” Xuanyuan Mo Ze pulled her into the carriage to sit down. He had prepared a cup of tea on the small table in the carriage for her.
