Chapter 1333 First Word

"Do you want me to poke your eyes to make you blind too?" asked Raelle.

"No thanks," replied Hyson. "I still need these beautiful eyes of mine." He turned his head and said, "Oh, Xian Ge is here! Come and get your wife. She is out of her mind. She has so many complaints with all of us."

"Xian, come and eat something," said Mu Chenyan.

Shui Xian waved his hand, "I'm not hungry."

"Why are you here then?" asked Hyson.

"As you just said, I'm here to get my wife back," he replied. He walked over to Raelle's side and asked in a low voice, "Should we go back to our room?"

Raelle looked at him and nodded in response.

"Come, I'll carry you," said Shui Xian.

"She can walk," reminded Hyson.

"But she walked for so long already."

"You did too."

"Fai, stop being nosy!"

"Got it!" replied Hyson. "I do feel like I'm getting nosier than ever. What is wrong with me?"

"Maybe you're feeling lonely," said Xiang Wai. "I'm Fai. Yue Fai! I don't feel lonely," he replied.

"You haven't understood your own heart yet," said Xiang Wai in a sad tone.

Seeing Shui Xian carrying Raelle back, Hyson said, "He really came all the way here to get his wife back."

"What's so new about that? Don't you know they are clingy?" asked Xiang Wai.

"They are in love," said Xiang Weimin. "You both don't need to comment on their relationship. Mind your own business!"

"Ge, we are just talking," Xiang Wai and Hyson had the same expression right now.

"Your brother is right," said Xiang Hulin. "Don't comment on your sister's relationship with her husband. They are happy with each other and you don't need to question their happiness."

"Yes, Papa!"

Mu Chenyan came to sit down with all of them and looked at her niece, nephew, and godson. "Tell me, I sent my Elle with you all for one day. Just one day. Why does she come back with so many complaints?"

"She is being unreasonable!" said Hyson. "You can't possibly blame us for her squeamishness."

"She isn't squeamish. She is just particular about a few things. Being clean happens to be one of them. She believes animals carry lots of germs so she is unwilling to touch them. I don't need to remind you how much effort it took me to convince her to learn horseback riding."

Hyson nodded his head when he recalled that time, "True. And no one was allowed to get on her horse too or that person would be dead. She had disinfected everything before getting on the horse. I felt so bad for her horse when that happened."

"I felt bad for your horse too," said Mu Chenyan. "What did I do?"

"I don't wanna even remember your atrocities right now," she replied. "Now, I believe I told you all to take care of my girl. How can you make her uncomfortable with so many things."

"We tried our best."

"Well, your best wasn't really the best. At least, it didn't have the best result."

"Chenyan!"

"Yes, Elder Xiang!"

"Stop it," said Grandfather Xiang. "Let Raelle explore the world. The world she finds uncomfortable. Stop drawing a circle around her where she is always comfortable. Let go already. Her accepting ability is a lot better than when she was younger."

"Okay, it's me who is losing the composure here. I understand that I always do this. But I can't help it. Not when it comes to her." Mu Chenyan took deep breaths and thinking of something she suddenly froze. Then she frowned to herself, "Wait! Did my Elle just file complaints with me?"

"Yeah," replied Hyson.

"No way!" said Mu Chenyan.

"Wow! Yanyan, you're taking your sweet time letting that sink in."

Mu Chenyan covered her mouth in surprise, "She actually used words to tell me what went wrong. Hahaha! Oh my gosh! I can't believe this. This doesn't happen. She doesn't like sharing her feelings. No, she doesn't know how to share her feelings. But just now, she did. She DID! She actually did!"

"You need to calm down, Yanyan!" said Hyson. "I know it happens once in a blue moon but don't get so excited over it. You need to breathe."

Mu Chenyan nodded her head and breathed in and breathed out. "I'm so happy!"

"Aunt, you are overreacting," said Xiang Wai.

"She isn't," said Grandfather Xiang. "You can't understand Chenyan's emotions right now. After all, you didn't grow up with Raelle. You don't know what she was like when she was younger. By the time you entered her world, she was already very normal thanks to Chenyan and Fai's efforts."

Hyson nodded his head, "Yes, yes! I had a huge credit for this. You don't understand what weirdo your sister was when I first met her."

Xiang Wai didn't say anything when she heard that because she really couldn't even imagine what kind of a person Raelle actually was when she was younger. So, it was better for her to stay quiet. She really couldn't understand Mu Chenyan's overreaction but she understood her happiness for sure.

It was almost like when parents heard their child's first word and they got excited over it. That's how Xiang Wai felt about Mu Chenyan's reaction but she didn't say a word about this. Maybe it was really the same feeling to Mu Chenyan right now. How would she know?

"You all should also go and rest for a while," said Xiang Hulin. "Even if you can't sleep. Just lie down for a while. We'll meet at dinner."

"Yes, you all should go and rest now," agreed Grandfather Xiang. "It's time for me to take a nap too." Xiang Hulin helped his father back to his room to take a rest. Hyson also went to his yard and so did Xiang Wai and Xiang Weimin.

There was only Mu Chenyan and Yue Yue left in the living room. With Mu Chenyan sitting in a daze and Yue Yue patting her hand.
