Chapter 1292 Dual Attack
"Fai, is everything really okay?" asked Grandfather Xiang.
Hyson moved his eyes away from Raelle and looked at Grandfather Xiang, "Opa, don't listen to her. I'm absolutely fine. But you look really tired. You didn't even take a nap today. Your routine is all messed up. It'll affect your health. How about I take you back to rest?"
Grandfather Xiang gave him a loving smile, "I am fine. I can bear this much tossing. You don't have to be so concerned about me. And you, don't try to change the topic here too. Did something happen? Raelle is mostly not wrong."
"She can be wrong too. Should I remind you what she used to say about love? Didn't she slap herself in the face now? Why are you saying that she can't be wrong?"
"But she isn't wrong about you," said Grandfather Xiang. "Opa, nothing really happened," replied Hyson. "Yes, I thought it was fine to live like this. But now, I feel like it's too boring to just live like this and I should think about my life choices once again. Anyway, too many people have been telling me to think about what my own dreams are rather than chasing others' dreams. So, I decided to seriously consider it all. Is something wrong with that?"
Grandfather Xiang actually breathed a sigh of relief when he heard that and his smile became even brighter, "No, there is nothing wrong. In fact, I think this is great. Finally, you're enlightened. One less thing to worry about for me." He turned to Lao Jiangou and said, "Lao Jian, take Fai to his place to rest. He has been running around since yesterday and must be tired."
"Opa, you don't have to worry about me."
"But I am worried. What can you do about that?"
Hyson didn't know how to respond to that.
Lao Jiangou also spoke up, "Young Master Yue Fai, let me show you your place. Your room was personally designed by Master. That's why I was even more curious about you all this while since the last time Master made this much effort was when he married the Mistress back then."

Raelle also looked at Grandfather Xiang who looked very helpless being stuck between these two. "Why do you love being so competitive with Raelle?"
"I don't know. I just love to piss her off. That's the only expression of hers that I love."
"All you love is your ability to get on her never," Grandfather rubbed his head lovingly and turned to Raelle. "Yenay, he is younger than you. Give in to him a little."
"I didn't say anything," was Raelle's response. "Stop annoying Opa here and go to your room. You are looking like a homeless guy."
"Have you ever seen such a handsome homeless guy?"
"Yes!"
"Where?"
Raelle pointed at him, "Right here."
Xiang Wai laughed at that and said, "You both should do a show together. I think people would love to pay to watch you both just having a normal conversation. What do you say, Ge?"
Xiang Weimin gave her a look and said, "Are you having too much fun, Wai?"
Xiang Wai nodded without any hesitation, "Yes, yes. It's like watching a TV show."
Both Hyson and Raelle turned to Xiang Wai while Xiang Weimin slowly distanced himself from his sister. He knew the joint attack was coming and he didn't want to be a part of it at all.
"Major, do we look like clowns or entertainers to you?" asked Raelle.
"I think she thinks we are clowns," said Hyson.
Xiang Wai finally realized what just happened. Oopsie! She shouldn't have spoken out her true thoughts. Now, these two were gonna join hands to deal with her. "Major, how is your proposal going?" asked Raelle.
"Oh, there is a proposal? What do you say if I tell my brother about this?"
Xiang Wai gave Hyson a look of disbelief, "You can't be this petty."
"But you don't understand. We can become petty too," said Hyson. "You really underestimate us."
"Major, it seems like you're too comfortable these days," said Raelle. "That you've even started laughing at my expense. Do I need to remind you who I am again?"
"I remember," said Xiang Wai. "I can't forget. You're Raelle."
"Yes! I'm Raelle Xiang. You better not make any mistake about that. Don't think I'm easy to talk to. I'm still the same."
Xiang Wai sighed, "Why are you doing this to me? I didn't say anything wrong."
"Didn't say anything wrong but you laughed at us. Besides, we haven't even begun to do anything."
"Right. Do you think Ellie and I are so easy? This isn't even an appetizer. You be careful around us. We might love to attack each other but it's very dangerous when we join hands."
"I can vouch for that," said Grandfather Xiang. "The strongest team around has to be Raelle and Fai."
Hyson looked proud, "Of course, we are the strongest team. Why else would we be the best friends here?"
"You both are crazy. Equally," was Xiang Wai's response. "There is no other reason why you are best friends even with such drastic differences in your personalities."
"And no one ever told you that messing with crazy people doesn't end well?" asked Hyson. "You can laugh at me, but please, refrain from laughing at my best friend. I don't like that. I refuse to accept that."
"So protective of your shortcoming?"
Hyson shrugged, "I am very unreasonable in this matter too."
"You're unreasonable in many matters," was Xiang Wai's answer.
"Anyway, it's better if you don't use us for your entertainment," said Raelle. "Yes, boss!" She looked at the two of them and paused, "That's all? You both are letting me go so easily this time?" She couldn't believe it. She thought she'd have to shed a layer of her skin before escaping from their attack. But this was too easy. "Just as Hyson said earlier," started Raelle. "This is our first night here. We'll let you go this time."
Xiang Wai was shocked to hear this and lowered her voice to talk to Xiang Weimin, "I thought she didn't believe in Fai's ghost theory."
"But she respect whatever he says," responded Xiang Weimin. "So, even if she doesn't believe it. She'll always go along with him. Silly, why haven't you figured it out yet?"
Xiang Wai pursed her lips not knowing what to say.
