Chapter 336 - 333 Egyptian Princess, Set (I)

'Egyptian Princess?'

Lucian paused.

The Prodigium group said they were looking for 'Haram', which was the taboo knowledge referred to in the Egyptian language.

There was no mention of an Egyptian Princess Ahmanet.

"General, perhaps … They are hiding something from me."

Lucian's eyes shone with cold light. What werewolves hated the most was deception and betrayal.

He sincerely wanted to have a good relationship with Prodigium, so he didn't hesitate to come and act as a bodyguard in person.

But those people treated him as a fool, intending to trick him and use him.

This made the Lycan Leader very angry. He felt as if he was humiliated.

He silently noted down this debt in his heart.

"Who's the leader of this team?"

Luke scanned the members. Apart from Lucian and the four young werewolves he brought, there were over 20 people in total.

Among them, the strong men who looked vigorous, armed to the teeth, and guarded the perimeter should be specially trained mercenaries.

The people in the middle were probably the members of Prodigium.

"That man, Dr. Henry, is the leader of Prodigium."

Lucian turned his attention to a middle-aged man with white sideburns and a beard.

"I joined the team to protect him."

Luke looked around for a moment and whispered, "Take me there."

With his status, no matter who it was, they had to show him some respect.

Not to mention Prodigium, even if Hydra came, they had to be obedient.

"Dr. Henry, this is …"

Lucian brought Superman to the middle-aged man and then started his long list of titles.

No matter which parallel universe, power represents power, and identity shows status, both of which are all-powerful credentials.

The mysterious organization Prodigium, which Lucian described as being able to cause turmoil in Europe with many big names standing behind it, was no exception.

After learning that Luke was the Superman who disappeared, the leader, Dr. Henry, immediately underwent a dramatic change in attitude.

At best, he was able to influence the political climate of Downing Street in England and was considered a prominent figure.

But the young man in front of him, laughing and joking with the British Prime Minister Winston Churchill, could influence the world's situation.

The difference in level was as big as a chasm in the sky.

"It turned out that the previous earthquake was the aftermath of General Cavill's battle, and I thought it was a sudden meteorological change…"

From his appearance to his demeanor, Dr. Henry fitted the image of an old English gentleman.

He spoke slowly and carefully and with good manners in speech and behavior. He was a sociable person who could easily gain the favor of others.

"I haven't thanked you, General. You helped us get rid of those armed men. It's a gift that's impossible to repay."

Dr. Henry spoke kindly, but there was a hint of caution in his eyes.

When facing Luke, he felt a heavy pressure that almost triggered the other personality in his body.

"Dr. Jekyll, do you feel distressed by the split in your consciousness?"

Luke wasn't impressed by the compliments. He could tell right away that Dr. Henry was not human -- not a normal human being, to be precise.

In his mind's eye, beneath Dr. Henry's physical shell, there were two core personalities that emanated different emotional fluctuations.

One was sensible, sober, and maintained goodwill.

The other was cruel, violent, and full of evil thoughts.

"What did you say? I don't quite understand."

Although Dr. Henry tried his best to hide it, his face still revealed a strong sense of shock.

He had a secret that no one else knew, another personality.

"This isn't a psychological problem for you, but an aftereffect of … biological transformation, right?"

Luke once again dropped a heavy bomb. Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, how could he not have heard of it?

Henry Jekyll, from Robert Louis Stevenson's short story, was the first dual personality figure in the history of literature.

The story was about Henry Jekyll, a successful academic and well-known philanthropist who invented a potion.

After taking it, he split his own evil personality -- Edward Hyde.

Such a classic image had been brought to the screen many times.

In the failed Dark Universe, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde were an important link between monsters.

He found Ahmanet, the Egyptian Princess, and liberated Set, the God of Death.

Similar to the Invisible Man, Frankenstein, Werewolf, and Dracula, they all belonged to the Dark Universe.

Prodigium was a scientific organization that specialized in studying all kinds of monsters and myths.

Hiding under the Natural History Museum of London, England, their nature was similar to that of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Luke didn't expect that in his Earth-1024, there was still a hidden branch.

Therefore, when Dr. Henry gave his name, Superman turned this man's bottom line upside down.

"I know a guy in a similar situation as you."

Luke patted Dr. Henry on the shoulder consolingly and smiled, "Whenever he loses his temper, his body would be possessed by his angry personality. He can't control his destructive impulses and starts to wreak havoc."

"Dr. Jekyll, symptoms and conditions like yours aren't uncommon."

"I personally recommend going to Nepal, a place called Kamar Taj, for spiritual healing. I believe it would be very effective."

"The disease needs treatment. It's useless to conceal and cover-up."

Dr. Henry was silent, dubious, and quietly kept those keywords in mind.

If it were someone else, he might not even bother paying attention to them, treating them as a charlatan.

But when that remark came out of Luke's mouth, the credibility was different.

This was like an ordinary person saying that they 'don't like money', 'have never touched a penny', and 'money can't buy you happiness'. Most people would scoff at it.

And for some rich people, that feeling was very different.

For a long time, Dr. Henry suffered from the pain of having a split personality.

As long as the evil personality named Edward Hyde appeared, he couldn't restrain his inner desire to kill.

Therefore, he had committed many murders and had remained an extra-judicial madman.

"Kamar Taj …"

Henry repeated the words.

"Yes, remember to quote my name. You can enjoy a 50% discount on meditation courses and have a better chance to get personal guidance from the Sorcerer Supreme to heal your soul and redeem yourself."

Luke acted like a veteran salesman in the business, and his attitude was quite enthusiastic.
