Chapter 261: Difficult Fight.
Ichiro's face showed his absolute confidence in survival, while the Rage Beast felt a tickling sense of fear, which made him debate whether he should try to dodge it.
The claw was nearing Ichiro's neck with deadly speed, and it would have grave consequences if the claws would sink in his flesh, but Ichiro wasn't planning to dodge.
His sword suddenly accelerated in speed, and soon it was only an inch away from touching the furry head of the Rage Beast.
The Rage Beast finally came to a conclusion and retreated with incredible speed.
It took him only a millisecond to retreat a dozen meters. His speed is way above what Ichiro manages to accomplish.
Soon, the Rage Beast sniffed the air, and he smelled his prey trying to run away.
His red eyes changed directions towards the young men and women who were running like their lives depended on it, because it does!
''Grrr…'' The Rage Beast growled silently and bursted into motion.
*BOOM*
The ground below him exploded as he started moving like lightning among unsuspected villagers.
The young men and women paled as they felt a thunderous sound behind them, and soon they found a reason for it.
A tall figure appeared on the exit. His muscular body completely blocked every possibility of escaping.
The young men and women paled as they started running away in the oppsite direction.
But then, the Rage Beast grinned and bursted into a motion. He swung his blade-like claws towards the first young man, who was nearest him.
But soon… The claws were stopped by a sharp blade.
The Rage Beast turned his head towards the black-haired young man who barely managed to stop the blade.
The young man who was about to be attacked felt like his heart was about to explode, but then he saw a black-haired young man saving him!
Ichiro clicked his tongue and tried to push the Rage Beast away, but his body was like a mountain, which could not be moved!
''Hmph!'' Ichiro snorted and kicked the torso of the young man, which caused him to fly straight towards the nearby wall.
*BOOM*
The young men became lifeless as the blunt impact to the head was too much to survive.
The Rage Beast looked surprised.
Why did this human save him and then kill him?
''I needed that elimination…'' Ichiro uttered, and soon his muscles started bulging, ''GRAH!''
Soon, the Rage Beast started getting pushed away under Ichiro's incredible increase of strength.
The Rage Beast tried to stop his momentum, but his legs kept sliding on the ground towards the exit of the room.
Everyone looked at the scene with pale faces. They don't know should they help or not.
Lucius looked at the scene with rough breathing, 'If I play this right… I might be able to kill both Rage Beast and Ichiro…' A tinge of coldness appeared in his eyes as a dangerous plan was forming on his head.
Yumi looked at the scene with cold eyes. She doesn't care about the strength of Ichiro because she is confident in killing everyone below Martial King.
It's not because her strength is Half-Step Martial King, because it isn't. Far from it, actually, but she has a mindset that everyone can be defeated with brains.
Everyone in the room was debating how can they kill both Rage Beast and Ichiro.
Since the two strongest existences are currently fighting, it gave them plenty of time.
Ichiro used his leg to slam his foot deep inside Rage Beast's torso, but he didn't even flinch; instead, he used his deadly claws to make a massive slash wound on Ichiro's torso.
''Ugh!'' Ichiro quickly retreated as three massive slash wounds were found on his chest.
He looked at the dripping wound with a slight pain in his eyes. Soon, his muscular chest was painted red, which made the scene quite a gore.
''Hia!'' Ichiro snapped his head towards the direction of the Rage Beast and saw him licking the blood from his claws, and for some reason, he looked very satisfied.
''Tsk.'' Ichiro forcefully pushed his body to its limits so he could stand up. No one in the room could understand how difficult it is to fight against Half-Step Martial King for so long with his Martial Commander physique!
Staying alive is hard.
Managing to counter-attack is challenging.
Injuring is near impossible.
Even after fighting for less than a minute, his human physique has come to a limit mentally and physically.
While he was growing weaker, the Rage Beast was growing taller and stronger.
Ichiro felt like he is in a very bad situation. He can't defeat the Rage Beast without going all-out, but it will leave him completely exhausted after the fight has ended.
He took a glance at everyone present in the room and saw their obvious cunningness.
'Fools… If I die, you all will as well.' Ichiro felt incredibly annoyed at everyone not using their brains.

Suddenly, the Rage Beast started moving like a lightning bolt, but instead of attacking Ichiro… He was going straight towards a dark room in the distance.
Ichiro widened his eyes in shock. He remembered that there was someone hiding there, but why did the Rage Beast attack there?
The Rage Beast entered the entrance of the dark room, and he had perfect night vision to see everything in the room.
*SWOOSH*
Everyone in the hidden room looked shocked as a petite girl with black hair jumped over the tall figure of Rage Beast and entered the center of the hidden room.
Yumi had an obvious pale face. This wasn't part of her plan, and she couldn't understand why the Rage Beast attacked her!
Ichiro narrowed his eyes as he looked at the black-haired young woman. He felt her killing intent being mostly locked on him.
He changed the grip on his sword and swung it straight towards Yumi's unguarded neck.
Yumi felt a wind blowing and something fast approaching behind her. She anxiously turned her head around and saw a sharp blade about to slice her head off.
But then… A blond-haired young man appeared in front of Yumi and put his dagger in front of the blade.
''UGH!'' Lucius groaned in pain as his hands started trembling after blocking the powerful strike.
''Yumi, help me, and we might be able to kill him and Rage Beast!'' Lucius shouted.
Yumi pondered for a moment before nodding, ''Alright.''
Ichiro looked at them with a mocking face, ''You two can't manage to do either of those.''
