''This is… Unexpected.'' Lux Rosenword said aloud.
The workers of Night Company had shocked faces.
King of Lessencave joined the Event!
They had made Kings an existence who cannot be defeated in many years.
But once players are strong enough, only then they can fight for the title of King.
''W-What happens now?'' The workers questioned.
This changes the event completely.
''It doesn't change anything,'' Lux said.
''B-But now it's impossible for the KingOfGames to win!''

The workers looked confused— they turned their heads back to the screen, wondering why Lux has so my faith in one player.
The millions of players were confused why King Lucius appeared, but they felt that their winning chances skyrocketed.
King Lucius's face became serious, the ground beneath him cracked, and his body started moving.
His sword moved fluently like it was underwater.
Perfectly stable, his slash… Was perfect.
Ichiro swung his spear and trying to deflect the incoming sword strike, but he couldn't…
Instead his spear got deflected!
He widened his eyes, but King Lucius' sword was already in front of him.
Ichiro unequipped the spear, out of nowhere, a shield appeared on his hand.
He quickly put it in front of him, and blocked the sword strike!
But, he was still sliding backwards.

Out of nowhere, Dragon appeared behind Ichiro and slashed towards Ichiro's unguarded back!
Undying appeared above Ichiro and did downwards slash!
Spiritless appeared next to Ichiro and stabbed with his spear!
Ichiro was surrounded!
Ichiro did split second decision, and blocked Dragon's sword strike, but then Undying sword attack separated his left arm from his body, and Spiritless' spear hit his side.
Ichiro's HP instantly dropped all the way down to 400k!
''YEAHH!'' The players who looked at the scene was now certain that they will win!
Ichiro didn't change his expression— he used his shield and pushed everyone away.
He unequipped his shield, and took his crimson spear.
King Lucius appeared in front of him and unleashed barrage of sword slashes!
Ichiro with ease deflected them, but then the King's Guards appeared!
King Lucius retreated, and the Guards surrounded Ichiro.
Ichiro didn't have his left arm anymore, but that didn't change his battle prowess.
The Guards pointed their spears at him, and thrusted them forwards!
Ichiro quickly stabbed the ground with his spear, and suddenly the Guards started floating!
''Waaaaaah!'' The Guards shouted in shock.
Ichiro swung his spear, and the Guards were sent flying all the way to the gates of Lessencave.
He saw that King Lucius and others weren't attacking him at this moment.
They were regrouping, but that gave him enough time.
[SPEAR DESTRUCTOR!]
He swung the spear around him, and a familiar black-colored spear wave appeared around him.
The millions of players were shocked, but they didn't have enough time to do anything.
Ichiro's attack killed hundreds of thousands of them!
Ichiro's XP was increasing with alarming rate, and he was closing on Level 416!
King Lucius and others realized that they couldn't stop attacking even once!
Another round of fighting began, and Ichiro was again… On the winning end.
On top of the Lessencave wall.
A average-looking girl was looking at the battle. She had iron armor covering her petite body, and familiar nametag floated above her.

No one really took interested on her, because she looked very average.
She didn't really care about her look in the game— that's why not many took an interest in her.
Usually, some players would be simping towards a beautiful girl, even if the player might be a man in real life.
But no one had any idea… That this average-looking was KingOfGames' girlfriend!
Azura looked at the battle with nervous heartbeat.
She wants Ichiro to win, even though he is the enemy in this event.
King Lucius, Dragon, Undying and Spiritless were the only ones attacking Ichiro.
Few top 10 ranked players could survive some time in that fight, but they would be in the way.
Ichiro's spear moved like lightning, and his every swing almost killed them.
They couldn't resist even one moment.
Dragon, Undying and Spiritless were sweating heavily while moving their controls in the mesmerizing matter.
Their fingers almost looked like blurs, and they were in perfect concentration.
No one could distract them.
Their eyes were glued to the screen, and they noticed every movement on the screen instantly.
Ichiro was using the controller in a rhythmic manner.
He didn't go too fast, nor too slow.
But his every movement looked perfect, without any errors.
He still had his cold look on his handsome face.
King Lucius' aimed his sword towards the sky, which made his body completely vunerable.
Dragon, Undying, and Spiritless instantly understood that they had to protect him.
But Ichiro was already attacking King Lucius' unguarded torso.
But Dragon blocked the sword with his shield, and Spiritless attacked Ichiro with his silver spear.
''Hmph.'' Ichiro snorted and deflected the silver spear and thrusted it forwards.
Spiritless widened his eyes in shock, and then the spear pierced through his throat.
''Spiritless!'' Dragon and Undying shouted at the same time.
Spiritless sighed in sadness, and his avatar turned into pixels.
King Lucius has finished his preparations.
In the sky… A flaming ball started descending!
No… Not a flaming ball…
It was a meteor!
But this meteor was ten times larger than previous meteor!
The players around them started running away— no one could survive that!
Dragon and Undying kept attacking Ichiro.
They were prepared to die so that they will win the event.
King Lucius appeared in top of the wall, only few meters away from Azura.
Ichiro couldn't do anything to dodge the meteor anymore since Dragon and Undying kept chasing after him.
Without any choice left… Ichiro tried one last desparate attempt to survive.
He stabbed his spear on the ground and lifted the ground up!
The ground started floating towards the incoming meteor!
Ichiro jumped to the pit, which appeared after the ground started floating.
The floating ground collided with the meteor.
But the meteor effortlessly crushed the ground into smithereens.
Dragon and Undying followed behind Ichiro to the pit, not planning to let him do anything to survive!
The meteor was only 10 meters away from hitting Ichiro!
Dragon and Undying roared and thrusted their swords forwards!
Ichiro gritted his teeth and swung his spear, which caused wind pressure to appear.
It pushed Dragon and Undying away.
[Spear of Humanity!]
Ichiro thrusted his spear towards the meteor!
*BOOM*
*CRACK*
The meteor crashed with the spear.
The meteor instantly exploded!
Small molten rocks started flying in the sky, destroying the beautiful buildings in Lessencave.
It also killed hundreds of thousands of players.
Dragon and Undying died as well, but everyone cared about was King alive!
The dust cloud settled down… And one figure appeared.
''T-That can't be!'' King Lucius shouted with a shocked face.
A figure of Ichiro was seen.
His red armor was in pieces, and his crimson spear was broken.
Both of them turned into pixels.
His two prized equipments broke!
Those won't be repaired— they are completely gone!
Everyone turned their heads towards Ichiro's HP bar, and everyone was shocked!
[HP: 1/1,500,000]
King Lucius gulped and jumped towards Ichiro.
He landed a dozen meters away from Ichiro.
''You are defeated— please surrender.'' King Lucius said with a mighty tone.
Ichiro grinned and took his Excalibur from his Inventory.
''Very well…'' King Lucius said with a cold tone.
King Lucius was certain that he will win.
He still has over 2 million HP left.
He cannot lose!
Ichiro first time in his lifetime… Has to go all-out in Night's End.
He grabbed the console tighter and started moving his fingers with inhumane speed.
*Clank*
Ichiro's sword got blocked by King Lucius, but Ichiro didn't care— he changed the grip of the sword and did an upwards slash!
King Lucius masterfully blocked and did a counter-attack with a simple slash.
Ichiro deflected it as well and thrusted towards King Lucius' shoulder.
Hoping to make his arm useless, but King Lucius dodged in a perfect manner and thrusted his sword forwards.
Ichiro jumped backward, dodging the sword in a timely manner.
Both of them were concentrated on a great level.
Ichiro took a deep breath and took a step forwards.
King Lucius pushed his sword forwards, but Ichiro deflected it with his sword.
He can't risk blocking it and dying from the impact.
He has only 1 HP.
One scratch and he is dead.
King Lucius' sword was in an awkward angle, and that allowed Ichiro to stab his sword deep inside King Lucius' torso.
''YOUR MAJESTY!'' The Guards who saw the scene paled.
King Lucius spat a mouthful of blood and quickly jumped backward.
His 2 million HP fell all the way to 500k.
Now he understood the danger KingOfGames possesses…
He isn't any more confident about winning.
But… That doesn't mean he will give up either.
The fighting spirit he had as a young man once again ignited.
