BANG!!

Immediately Harry's fist connected with the round punching bag, the numbers started counting.

7000!

8000!

9000!

10000!

25000!

Harry's eyes widened in surprise as he read the figures on the digital device, the increase was even higher than the last time.

It was to be expected though, even though Harry's [Energy control] was still in level 3, his control over his energy had reached a very high level. Since he practised it frequently, his control over his energy had improved.

'It is almost double…' Harry thought. The amount of energy he placed into that punch wasn't that much so the increase was definitely astonishing.

He exhaled as he cleared the figures from the digital device, he had already done all he needed to do in the training centre so he didn't need to remain there. He still planned on coming back later today to train though.

A few minutes later, a brown haired figure could be seen standing in front of a tall shelf.

The boy who was obviously Harry sighed as he placed his hand on one of the tier one spells.

——

[Does the Host want to learn the skill "Lightning Dash"?

Cost: 5 skill points

[Yes/No]

——

Harry didn't even need to see the description of the 'skill' before he knew the effect. After all, he also had a skill called "Lightning dash".

He was currently in the Lightning spell library and he was going through the tier one spells in the library.

Though he had no plans on learning any tier one Lightning spell as he already had two of them, he still went through the tier one section.

After all, who knew, one of them could actually be useful. However, after going through all of them, he couldn't help but feel dismayed.

It wasn't that the spells were weak or anything—they could surely become more powerful after he levelled them up; that was if he even learned them if the first place.

The problem was that they all seemed to be repeated variations of themselves, there were a few that were quite unique compared to the rest, however, nothing powerful enough to pique his interest.

He already had two of the skills displayed on the tier one spell shelves—Lightning ball and Lightning dash, and the rest were pretty much useless to him.

A subconscious part of felt that maybe… just maybe, he might 'accidentally' find another tier three spell, but reality was different.

He later informed the library in the wind library about the tier three spell he saw in the shelf.

He unsurprisingly omitted the part about him learning the spell with the use of the system and only said he found it by coincidence.

Though there was the possibility that Trent was the student who left the spell in the library, he didn't report it for that reason—he wasn't that petty.

He only did it because he didn't want any problem. If it was really a mistake from the instructors or the academy, he might get in trouble for ignoring it.

Even though it seemed like he was being paranoid, it was never wrong to be too careful.

Harry sighed as he left the shelves and moved to the tier two spells library section. His original plan had been to learn only tier two spells in the first place, his skill points were very low, so he had to be frugal.

*****

Harry slowly stepped out of the library, in his hands was the tier one spell [Lightning Ball], it was what he planned on using as a cover whenever he used the skill.

Since he already had the skill, he didn't need to learn it. He only registered himself taking that spell so it wouldn't seem suspicious whenever he used the skill.

A slight smile appeared on Harry's face as he stared at the 'tab' floating in front of him.

[Lightning Coat]

That was the new skill he had learnt in the library, it were already self explanatory through its names alone so one didn't even need to read the description before knowing what the 'spell' is used for.

[Lightning Coat] was a defensive skill and while its defence couldn't compare to that of a full amour, it was still good for a tier two spell.

The spell name on the scroll was "Coat of Lightning", but for some reason, the system changed the skill name to [Lightning Coat].

It was also a skill he had previously seen on the [Skill Shop], however, he couldn't purchase it due to the high cost.

Though the system said the strength of the skills given to him by the system or gotten from the [Skill shop] and that of their 'spell versions' were miles apart, Harry learnt it anyway.

He didn't have enough skill points to use the shop, so he could only make do with what he had.

"Hey… you!" A loud voice broke him of his thoughts.

Harry's eyes squinted slightly, he cleared the system tab and focused his gaze on the three students approaching him.

The one that called him was at the middle of the other two, he had short black hair that was neatly trimmed at the edges and a thin nose.

The other two simply followed behind him like lackeys.

'The last thing I was now… is another problem on my hands.' Harry mumbled inwardly. From their young appearance, he didn't need to guess that they were either year one or year two students.

And the manner in which they were approaching him along with the fact they they were currently releasing their mana pressure meant they didn't come to just talk.

"Didn't you hear my voice before?" The one at the middle said harshly. His neatly cut hair and appearance made him appear like a gentle and calm person but his rude voice proved otherwise.

"What do you want?" Harry replied, completely ignoring the student's earlier question.

The expression on the boy's face changed for a moment before reverting back as if nothing happened.

His stepped closer to Harry, trying his best to be intimidating, however he failed as the height difference between them made it seem rather funny.

"So you're the new Elementalist that has being promoted to my class huh?" He asked, without waiting for a reply, he continued: "Just don't let that get into your head okay?"

"We the second year Elementalists are a lot different from first year Elementalists, I don't care which instructor you bribed to jump you across classes…" He said, leaning even closer. "Just don't dare cross my path, know your place."

Harry was slightly surprised at the student's words, he had expected him to say something reasonable. "Is that all you have to say?" Harry asked.

"Y-you…" The boy's eyes twitched rapidly as he stared at Harry. One of the students on his side wanted to attack Harry, however, he blocked him using his hand while muttering the words: "We are still in the hallway…"

The academy rules against fighting in the hallways had been strengthened and even though the punishment was less severe when the attack was done to an Elementalist, it was still something no one wanted to face—suspension, especially at this crucial point.

"Just watch it." He said one last time before turning around. The two boys beside him stared at Harry for a few seconds before following him.

A low chuckle left Harry's lips as he watched their vanishing backs. While this was quite surprising, he had already expected that something similar would happen.
