'Mana…?' Harry mumbled inwardly.

The new notification was quite unexpected, according to the system and the other voice, he couldn't due mana due to his identity as a manaless mage, so the thought never crossed his mind that he would actually be able to sense mana.

He didn't need to check the skill description before he understood the skill, it was self-explanatory through the name alone.

'It did make sense… I might not be able to use mana, but I could still sense it.' Harry mumbled inwardly. The only way mana was useful for him was as EXP through the skill 'mana steal'.

His eyes suddenly shone as a thought suddenly came to his mind. 'Mana is only useful to me as EXP… doesn't this mean I could actually—'

[Cancel that stupid thought of yours, you can't draw mana from the surroundings. You could only steal it from a person or an object.]

The other voice replied, pouring cold water over Harry's excitement.

A low sigh left Harry's lips as he bowed his head slightly in disappointment.

It would have benefited him greatly if he was able to get free EXP from the mana around him, however, he didn't feel bad or dismayed. He could always get EXP by completing his daily quests.

One thing he had noticed was his learned skills weren't completely automatic like his affinity skills and his other skills.

It would work but he still had to concentrate to bring out their full power or ability.

[I'm a little surprised, to think you'd learn two new skills on your own. I guess that means you aren't completely dependent like I thought]

Harry wisely ignored the other voice words, it didn't mean he didn't feel slightly annoyed at it though. For some reason, the other voice's words were a bit snarky today.

'Mana sense…' Harry mumbled inwardly. He remained in the same lotus position as he activated the skill.

Unlike with his other skills, he didn't feel any warm or refreshing sensation, he only felt… nothing, as if he wasn't activating any skill.

However, he could still sense the mana around him. It was a lot easier to do this time as he didn't have to concentrate too hard before he was able to sense the mana.

The mana he sensed around him wasn't concentrated but appeared to be sparse and spread out in bits.

He couldn't 'see' the mana but his mana sense was able to precisely follow the flow and movement of the energy.

Normal Elementalists couldn't only sense but could also 'see' the mana around them.

According to what he was taught in the academy, mana should appear as bright yellow dust-like strands—the brightness and density depended on the concentration of the mana.

However, it was either things applied different when it came to him or his mana sense Keven was just too low because he didn't see the same yellow dust-like particles, he could only sense it.

"Are you okay?" The female instructor's voice broke him off his thoughts.

Harry's eyes squinted slightly as he turned his head and faced her. "Yeah, I'm fine." He replied.

"You seemed to have zoned out for a moment there..." The woman said. She stared at him with a strange expression for a few seconds before turning her gaze away.

"I'm fine." Harry said as a wry smile appeared on his face. He didn't zone out or anything, he was simply staring at his skills and abilities tab.

However, to other people who couldn't see the system, it would appear like he was only staring off into space.

The Instructress didn't ask anymore questions and only continued walking forward.

It didn't take long before they finally arrived at their destination: a tall blue door.

"We are here…" She said as she motioned for Harry to go into the class. Normally, she wouldn't have bothered to escort any student to their next class, however, she did that for Harry because she was fascinated by his talent.

There was also something about this brown haired student that kept making her feel like she needed to be close to him, she didn't understand why, it was more of a subconscious feeling.

"You shouldn't worry… they already know about your promotion." She said when she noticed Harry still hadn't moved forward.

"Thank you, instructress." Harry said. Although it wasn't for 'pure' reasons, the Instructress had treated him with respect and care ever since he came to the Lightning hall, he didn't think it was wrong to reciprocate that respect.

The instructress simply replied with a gentle smile before turning around and leaving. 'Ahh… what am I doing…?' She mumbled inwardly while shaking her head slightly.

Harry opened the blue door and then walked into his new class.

The room was designed similarly to the foundation developing class. However, the amount of students was a lot lesser.

"So, you're the newly promoted student right?" A deep voice drifted into his ears.

Harry turned his head towards the direction of the voice.

A tall black haired man appeared in his line of sight, he had a slightly bulk physique along with very narrow eyes.

The man squinted his eyes slightly, making it appear more narrow as he stared at Harry.

'He does have a mana body…' He mumbled inwardly. He could sense little bits of maan flowing into Harry's body, which confirmed what he heard, that Harry had a mana affinity body.

He had never taught someone with such great talent throughout his career as an instructor, so even if it would only be for a short while, he felt slightly honored to be teaching someone like that.

Harry sat down cross legged on a familiar mat-like object. On his right hand was a small crystal white ball.

The main objective for this class was to learn how to channel elemental mana or rather, move mana from within the body into the small crystal.

In Harry's case, channeling his energy from within his body to the crystal.

Elementalists lose the ability to draw out raw mana after connecting their mana core to their affinity orb/orbs.

Any mana they draw from their mana core was automatically converted to elemental mana.

Harry kept his focus on the small white flame inside of him, he had already activated 'energy control' and his proficiency in channeling his energy had improved so it was now a lot easier for him to control his energy.
