"I will definitely watch this duel." Harry muttered with a slight smile on is face.

If he was being honest, he was quite excited to watch Han's duel. From what he knew, Han's mana core has regressed back to the first stage due to him using magic spell overload.

He was present when the principal mentioned about it to Han—though he did that indirectly, and it wasn't hard to guess what had happened.

During the last few weeks, he didn't come across Han anywhere in the academy. Han didn't even attend any of the recent lecture classes.

Unlike before when Han would come to him for the sake of bullying him or relieving stress as he used to call it, this past few weeks, Han had been avoiding him like a plague.

A slight smile broke out on Harry's lips, the turn of events was unexpected, even for him, but he couldn't exactly say that he felt bad for Han.

After all, he was only getting what he deserved.

Though he found it a little surprising that he accepted a challenge few weeks prior to the ranking competition.

While Han's strength had definitely dropped, it didn't necessarily mean he would be completely helpless against Dan—the one he was dueling against:

Fights between elementalists and Mages weren't determined by just the sheer amount of mana they had, but also skills and technique.

Han was an elite student, and he didn't get to the twentieth rank by just lazing around, but by challenging those at the top.

Besides, from what he heard, Dan was only a late stage one elementalist, so Han could actually stand a chance since they were more or less in the same stage.

Which was why Harry was curious about the duel, he wanted to see exactly how their duel would play out.

As for Nathan's duel, he was also curious to know Nathan's strength level and see the power of the combat mages, also to know how he compared to them.

"In two days time…" He mumbled with a slight as he slowly walked away from the holographic board, with his hands in his pockets.

[Note: Harry is still completing his daily quests. I just don't show him completing it because it is irrelevant to the plot. But he still completes his daily quest every day, the weight and distance he needs to run also gradually increases everyday also. No changes.]

Two days went by in a flash, and it was already the day of the widely anticipated duel.

Two days passed quickly, and it was already the day of the highly anticipated duel. Harry found himself in the event hall, his eyes shining brightly as he observed his surroundings.

The event hall, just as the name implied, was a large hall situated on the fifth floor of the training center.

It was where events like rankings competitions and duels between elite students took place.

The hall was very large and it had no problem containing all the students in the academy. Each room in the training center was large on its own, and the event hall was like the combination of all those rooms into one large hall.

At the middle of the hall was a large rectangular stage, and around it were seats set up and arranged in a stairway manner. The seats were arranged in such a way that everyone, no matter where they sat, would have a good view of the large stage in the middle.

Currently, on the stage were two students who stood opposite each other.

One of them had dark blue hair and black eyes, while the other had light grey hair.

They were both putting on the signature golden and black uniform of the elite ranks, and all the attention were on them.

Han had a deep frown on his face as he stares at the smug expression on the face of the Grey haired elementalist.

From his expression alone, one didn't need anything else to know what he was anything but happy with this duel.

As for Dan, he simply stood there with a slight smile on his face. In his head, he was already imagining how he would ascend to his new position, finally moving from the last position in the elite rank.

For him, today couldn't be any better. His eyes moved to Harry and the smug smile on his face drew wider.

At the side was a tall man with short, spiky black hair. The man was an instructor of the fire hall, and as one might have guessed, he was the one acting as the referee for this duel.

Harry's eyes gleamed strangely as he stared at the two Elementalists who stood opposite each other on the large stage.

With [Mana sense], he could sense the amount of mana flowing inside their bodies and knew immediately that Dan's mana was a lot more than Han's, despite them being in the same stage.

The whole hall was noisy with shouts of students screaming and declaring their support for the duel participants.

Surprisingly enough, Han was the one with more supporters. Since he was the higher ranked Elementalist, a lot of the students had bet their hopes and money on his winning this duel.

—"Destroy him Han!"

—"Yeah! Beat up that overconfident brat.

—"Fire destroys wind!!"

In the eyes of most of the students, Dan was the one overestimating himself. To them, him going up to challenge the rank 20 elementalist was nothing short of overconfidence.

They still considered Han as a stage two elementalist, and there was no way for a stage one elementalist to stage against someone in the second mana core stage.

Apart from that, Dan was also one of the most hated among the elite students. Since he got to his position mainly because the former rank 25 transferred out of the academy, most of the students didn't see him as worthy to hold the position.

They wanted nothing more than for Han to push Dan down from his high horse of pride by totally overwhelming him.

Of course, there were still some that supported Dan and wanted Han to lose, their voices were completely overshadowed by the former.

For some reason, the instructors didn't stop the shouts, or try to bring decorum and simply stood at the sides, with their eyes on the fight that was soon to start.

As for Han himself, his own thoughts were different from what most students might expect.

Beads of sweat pooled on his face, and he was getting more nervous every passing second.

While everyone might think he would inevitably emerge as the winner, he knew that chances of him winning were a lot slimmer than he would like to admit.
