Suddenly, it turned his head towards Harry's location and then dashed forward.
Its speed was surprisingly very fast. It's robust figure burst forward with speed rivalling that of a car.
With its short and thick legs, one wouldn't expect such speed from it.
But, even though its speed was fast, it wasn't too fast for Harry to follow.
He was sure his agility that was at least a few figures higher than that of the beast and even if it wasn't, he still had [Accelerate].
Within a few seconds, the mana beast closed in on Harry.
OINK!!
It released a loud nasal sound from its snout as it turned its head down before suddenly raising it back up, with the aim to hit Harry with its thick snout.
However, Harry didn't wait for that to happen.
'Accelerate!' He screamed inwardly. He immediately activated [Accelerate] and then leapt away from the tree with his temporarily boosted agility.
Bam!
A loud sound reverberated as the pig's thick snout collided with the tree with full force.
The tree trembled violently for a few seconds and many of its leaves fell to the ground, but it didn't come crashing down as one might expect and only kept shaking slightly.
The mana beast turned its head sharply towards Harry with its eyes burning with anger. It was enraged that its earlier attack didn't connect.
Since it hit the thick bark of the tree instead, its head was rattled for a moment and it felt some pain from its snout. This only made it more enraged.
Steam came out of its snout as it huffed and panted heavily.
Harry didn't wait for it to charge at him though, he quickly created more distance between himself and the beast by jumping back once more.
During those few seconds that he watched the beast, he had already scanned it with [Probe] and he knew he couldn't underestimate this pig!

The stats were more or less within his expectations. From the scales around its body, it was expected that it excelled in endurance.
However, Harry was quite surprised at the agility. Not that it was too high, but because it was too… low.
With the sudden eruption of speed the beast showcased earlier, he had expected the agility to be in the 70s.
He didn't linger on his thoughts too much; the current situation didn't let him.
'Wind Blade!' He stretched his hand forwards and without waiting for the blade to form completely, he launched it towards the mana beast.
The pig was about to charge towards Harry when the wind blade suddenly appeared in front of it.
Its instinct tingled and warned it of danger so the pig hurriedly turned its body in a bid to escape the attack.
However, it still ended up been too slow as the blade closed in on it.
Since the beast managed to turn at the last second, the wind blade hit it at the side of its neck rather than its head.
It snarled heavily as a large gash appeared on the side of its neck, causing blood to slowly drip from it.
Unlike its back that was protected by dark blue scales, his neck was without scales or any form of protection except from its thick skin.
Harry hissed lightly when he saw that his attack didn't connect to its head as he had wanted.
But that first exchange wasn't entirety fruitless, it seemed like he had made one discovery; the mana beast's weakness was its neck!
However, his joy was cut short when the flesh around the wound on the mana beast suddenly started closing.
His eyes widened slightly as he realised something—the beast's healing was kicking in!
Actually, Mana beasts having regenerative abilities wasn't surprising.
Since mana beast mutated by mana violently entering their bodies, their bodies evolved and gained healing and regenerative abilities.
What surprised him was the speed at which the wound healed! Since he hadn't gone too deep into the forest, he hadn't expected to meet a mana beast like this… at least, not this early.
As for the mana beast, it got even more enraged and then charged at Harry with a loud snarl.
It was already angered when it hit the tree instead of its target, and this only annoyed it further.
Harry gritted his teeth as he stepped sideways in order to get a more favourable attack position. He raised his hand up, activating a skill he never thought he would use this early.
[Wind Slash]
Immediately, wind rushed towards his hand, but unlike when he used [Wind Blade], the wind didn't just form a simply blade, rather, then gathered and thinned above his arm in a slightly curved line.
This was the difference between [Wind Blade] and [Wind Slash], while the former launched a blade made of wind, the latter was in from a thin line that slashed towards the opponent, causing greater damage.
"Wind slash!!" He shouted as he swung his hand down. The thin wind above his hand slashed towards the mana beast with astonishing speed.
The pig tried to dodge, but unfortunately for it, this attack was a lot faster than the former.
It hit it squarely on the side of its neck, creating a thin line that cut deeply into its skin. Lots of blood gushed out of the wound, coating its neck with a thick red liquid.
The beast grunted in pain, stumbling on it's short legs.
Unlike the first injury, this one didn't heal as fast. Mainly because it was a lot deeper and fatal.
But Harry still didn't plan on letting it rest, he stretched his hand forward again, activating another skill.
"Wind Needle." He muttered. Wind rapidly gathered above his palm, merging and thinning into a long needle.
[-23 Energy Points]
Harry ignored the system notification, since he was using [Accelerate] simultaneously with his elemental skills, his energy drained twice faster.
His eyes drifted to the robust pig and his lips curved into a smug smile.
The fearful look in the beast's eyes was one to die for. He was sure that the mana beast could sense how powerful his skill was and this made him feel quite happy.
Without wasting anytime, he threw the needle towards the mana beast.
The attack whooshed through the air, travelling at an astonishing speed.
The mana beast tried to dodge by moving to the side, but unfortunately for it, the wind needle closed in on it before it could even react.
The mana beast let out a shrill cry as the wind needle pierced through its left eye.
Blood gushed out of its eyes and its brain got overloaded by a huge amount of pain.
The beast thrashed around even more, its short legs hit the ground continuously, causing dust to rise around it.
It didn't take a soothsayer to know that it wouldn't be able to use that eye for sometime.
A slightly smile appeared on Harry's lips, with that last attack, the beast's H/P was down to 40!
