“Hurry up and get dressed, lest we get misunderstood.”
After giving Huo Xishen those instructions, she strode towards the door to open it, only to see that it was Tang Qing.
Yan Jinyi felt a little vexed. ‘Of all times, why must this dog Gangster Tang come at this juncture?’
“Miss Yan, are you still in bed?” Tang Qing waved the bags of food in his hand and said, “I bought these from a restaurant nearby that makes good crystal buns. Do you mind if I come in and enjoy breakfast together with you?”
Despite cursing in her head, she was still chuckling. “This may not be very convenient.”
“Don’t worry Miss Yan, I won’t do anything to you in broad daylight.”
“Mr. Tang, you don’t have to worry either. I won’t give you this opportunity to do anything to me,” Yan Jinyi answered with a mirthless smile.
Huo Xishen walked over with a towel wrapped around him and pulled Yan Jinyi into his arms. “My wife is indeed not available at the moment. Mr. Tang please leave.”
As soon as he saw Huo Xishen, Tang Qing’s smile immediately faded and he subconsciously tightened his grip on the bags of food. “Why are you here too, Mr. Huo?”
“This is my wife’s room, why can’t I be here?”
Tension arose between the two of them and Yan Jinyi continued to stay nestled in Huo Xishen’s arms quietly.
‘Doggy Huo looks so cute now, he must have developed feelings for me. That’s why he’s being so jealous and spiting Tang Qing now.’
“Mr. Huo, you have a very hectic schedule, don’t you? I heard that you’re at the busiest time of your work because you’re fighting a longtime battle with a certain company recently. How could you bear to drop everything and come to Hong Kong?”
“My wife is very popular with men so I have to be on guard, lest some wild man takes advantage and comes in between us.”
Tang Qing took a deep breath. ‘Sooner or later I will take your place and make you become the wild man instead.’
He looked at Yan Jinyi again and said with a wide grin on his handsome face, “Miss Yan, since you already have Mr. Huo’s company, I’ll take my leave now. Let’s get together in Shenyang again next time.”
Yan Jinyi couldn’t be bothered to speak. She merely nodded while Tang Qing continued, “Oh, by the way, the food you treated me to last night was great. The owner even wished for us to have a baby soon.”
After saying that, Huo Xishen left arrogantly like he was about to kill.
“Darling, it seems that you and Mr. Tang have been getting along really well these two days.” Huo Xishen’s sinister voice sounded above her head.
Yan Jinyi grinned and said, “What are you saying, Mr. Huo? I’ve been really lonely without your company.”
Huo Xishen had come here in a private jet, which Yan Jinyi also got to experience on the way back.
There were many wealthy people in the country who could afford a private plate but there were not many who could get a permit to fly anywhere they wanted unhindered.
Just because one had a private plane, it didn’t mean that they could go to any city they wanted.
Huo Xishen seemed to have passed the test easily.
Yan Jinyi was once again amazed by his wonderful resources.
“Grandpa has found two candidates that he’d like Zihang to go on a blind date with, and he’d like you to keep an eye on them,” Huo Xishen suddenly said when they were about to touch down.
‘Two candidates that he’d like Zihang to go on a blind date with? He wants me to keep an eye?’
“Huo Zihang is not worthy,” Yan Jinyi refuted immediately.
Huo Xishen looked at her and asked, “Huh?”
“A scumbag like him is to grow old and die alone. Anyone who marries him will be aggrieved. He should just become a live-in husband.”
‘Isn’t she usually quite close to Huo Zihang?’
“Men should get married when they’re of age. He’s from the Huo Family so there should be plenty of women who want to marry him.”
‘All men are jerks. The rich ones are ultimate jerks!”
Huo Xishen would never tell her that he had deliberately mentioned this matter to his grandfather only because he felt that Huo Zihang was pestering her all the time.
