“Miss Yan, it seems that you’re not living well in the Huo Family.” Tang Qing glanced at Yan Jinyi’s desk, which was an olden-style foldable wooden table. The paint on the table had chipped and it looked rather filthy.
There was also a stool that wasn’t as high as her knee. How could it fit anyone?
It was right beside the road where numerous cars were coming and going. All the food would be stained with dust.

“Miss Yan, how did you end up having to eat at the roadside stall?”
‘What’s wrong with roadside stalls? The food sold at roadside stalls is not inferior to that of hotels. It’s quite delicious.’
“You’re a man after all. Mr. Tang, why are you more particular than me?” Yan Jinyi looked at Tang Qing in disdain. She then shook her head and said with a sigh, “It seems that you’re not lucky enough to accept a treat from me. Goodbye.”
His intention wasn’t for her to treat him to a meal but purely to spend more time with her.

It was a barbecue restaurant whose business was flourishing. She could smell the fragrance of the food as soon as she walked opposite the road.

The owner of the stall was a middle-aged woman in her late forties. Yan Jinyi ordered quite a lot of food and the owner personally served it to them while introducing the food eloquently.
Yan Jinyi was confused. She hadn’t had anything to eat today and thus, was famished now. However, the enthusiastic owner of the stall was still speaking to her.
The problem was that she wasn’t processing her words!
Yan Jinyi blinked in confusion and was about to interject but Tang Qing suddenly spoke up.
Yan Jinyi subconsciously looked at him and surprisingly found that he seemed rather charming when he was speaking in another language.
The owner finally left and Tang Qing picked up a meat skewer smilingly. “The owner is quite nice, the food tastes great too.”
