Yan Jinyi said contemptuously with raised brows. “Can you be less shameless? You’re the CEO of Huo Group after all.”
“There’s no need to be so particular about that since we’re married.”
‘What a hypocrite.’

Yan Jinyi was a little perplexed as she felt that she had not only failed to subdue Huo Xishen but had even gotten suppressed by him instead.
‘Seems like I’ve become too feminine after not being a bandit for a long time.’

Huo Xishen was getting ready to go to the bathroom with a fresh set of clothes in hand. “No idea.”
The corners of Yan Jinyi’s mouth twitched and she asked, “Should I call her Miss Bai or Miss Leng?”
“It’s up to you.”
“Mr. Huo, are you bored lately? How about we attend Miss Leng’s birthday bash together? Since the invitation has already been delivered to our doorstep, it wouldn’t be nice not to go.”
Huo Xishen couldn’t help but glance at her. There was a brilliant smile on her delicate little face, but her eyes were full of a cunning gaze.
“Darling, are you very interested in Miss Leng?”
“I’m not interested in her but her brother,” Yan Jinyi deliberately said while staring at him in a bid to see his reaction.
Huo Xishen merely nodded and said, “I shall satisfy your wishes then, Darling.”

She headed downstairs with some frustration and disgruntlement, only to see that Huo Qingyuan and Huo Zihang were standing side by side downstairs. As soon as they saw her, they ran towards her one after another.
“Second Sister-in-law, Second Brother didn’t do anything to you last night, did he?”
Huo Zihang asked, “Second Sister-in-law, you didn’t do anything to Second Brother last night, did you?”
She clenched her fist and waved it at Huo Zihang while hollering, “Are you itching for a beating? Get lost!”
Huo Zihang touched his nose with an awkward smile. ‘Huo Qingyuan is always so worried about this woman’s safety but who is she? She’s Yan Jinyi, the mighty bandit-like woman that even Tang Qing has to bow down to.’
“I’m fine, Huo Qingyuan, introduce the best stylist you know to me.”
Huo Qingyuan was stunned. “Second Sister-in-law, are you going to attend an event?”
As far as she remembered, Yan Jinyi had always been relaxed and unfettered when it comes to her job as an actress. She would usually be uncontactable for a while whenever she was done filming for a production.
“I’m going to attend a birthday party,” Yan Jinyi said languidly while doing some stretching exercises.
“Whose birthday party is it? Bring me along!” Huo Qingyuan crossed her fingers. “Second Sister-in-law, I’ve been good lately, it’s been a long time since I’ve attended a party like this.”
Glancing at her, she casually said, “Leng Yuxi’s, you can come along if you want to.”
‘Who?’
Huo Qingyuan thought she heard wrong. She rubbed her ears and looked at Huo Zihang with her head cocked to the side. “Third Brother, whose birthday party did Second Sister-in-law say she’s going to attend?”
Huo Zihang rolled his eyes at her. “Leng Yuxi.”
‘Is Second Sister-in-law crazy? Leng Yuxi is not just some actress. Her family has a very high status!’
“I reckon Second Sister-in-law is jealous and intends to personally attend the wedding to provoke Leng Yuxi and at the same time, warn her to stay away from Second Brother.”
“You’re thinking too much.”
In Yan Jinyi’s eyes, men are not as important as money so Huo Zihang thought she was probably intending to extort a huge sum of money from Leng Yuxi by telling her that she would leave Huo Xishen as long as she gave her money.
