Fir's POV

I felt a pang of concern as I noticed the tears on Isabella's cheeks. Despite my burning desire for her, I couldn't ignore the fact that something was clearly bothering her.

"What's the matter?" I asked, trying to keep my voice calm and gentle. I had been drawn to her unique personality the moment I talked to her, and I didn't want to do anything to make her uncomfortable. I didn't want to treat her like other women.

As I wiped away her tears, I couldn't help but feel a fierce protectiveness towards her. I don't know about her past , and I didn't want to be the cause of any further pain or discomfort. All I wanted was to comfort her.

"Is everything okay?" I asked again, my heart racing as I searched her face for any signs of discomfort. I leaned in and pressed a gentle kiss to her forehead, hoping to ease her worries and fears.

Isabella sniffled and took a deep breath, her eyes softening as she looked up at me. I could sense her hesitation, her reluctance to burden me with her problems.

"It's nothing, really," she whispered, her voice barely above a breath. "Just...some memories that came back. But I'm okay now. Thank you for being so caring."

I smiled reassuringly at her, my heart swelling with affection . I knew that we could have a connection that was deeper than just physical attraction .

He wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close to his chest as he whispered comforting words in her ear.

"Would you like to rest in my bedroom?" he offered, his voice soft and gentle. "You don't have to force yourself."

"I do." she replied with a smile.

Isabella's smile warmed his heart, and he knew that he had made the right decision. Together, they walked side by side through the grand mansion, taking in the stunning night view from the tall windows.

As they walked towards his bedroom, Fir couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation. He longed to show her just how much he cared for her, both physically and emotionally. He knew that their bond could become more special.

Isabella gazed deeply into his eyes, searching for any hint of doubt or insincerity. She had been hurt before, and the thought of opening herself up to another man was terrifying.

But as she looked at him, she felt a spark of hope ignited within her. His eyes held a warmth and sincerity that she had never encountered before, and she sensed her heart swell with longing. She had been lonely living alone all these years because of her trauma.

"You know that I avoid men because of my past," she spoke, her voice trembling slightly. "But there is something different about you. I feel like I can love again, the moment our lips touch."

Fir felt his heart skip a beat at her words, and he knew without a doubt that he felt the same way. The attraction between them was undeniable, and he felt a deep sense of curiosity to explore it further.

"Me too," he replied, his voice low and husky.

"It's the first time we've met, but somehow, I feel a strong connection with you. I can't explain it, but I know that it's real."

As he spoke, he took a step closer to Isabella, his hand reaching out to caress her cheek. She leaned into his touch, savoring the warmth of his skin against hers.

In that moment, they both knew that they had found something special, something worth trying.

Unbeknownst to them , their feelings for each others will be the catalyst of something bigger in the future.

Because behind Evangeline's every action was a deep understanding of how fate controls the universe.

Only time will tell , if she made the right decision to bring these two broken Souls together.

As for her motive.... That's something for the future.

Fir's alarm clock rang, waking him from his peaceful sleep. He had woke up early with the hope of seeing Isabella next to him, but the bed was empty.

"Maybe she didn't want to disturb my sleep," he mumbled as he stretched out his limbs. Though nothing romantic had happened between them the previous night, he relished holding her close in the chilly air.

Feeling invigorated, he jumped out of bed and parted the heavy curtains, welcoming the golden rays of sunshine. Soon, his maids bustled in to take care of his every need, as was customary.

"Not today," he said, shaking his head with a decisive air. He wanted to break his routine and do something different today. The maids looked disappointed, but they understood his wishes .

After taking a solo shower, he scanned through his wardrobe and picked out a stylish outfit.

"I'm going out today," he declared to himself. Although he had been holed up inside the mansion for weeks, he had never felt the need to leave. But today, he was determined to explore the city of California, which had so much to offer.

Fir stepped outside to the driveway and was greeted by an array of sleek, powerful supercars. His eyes scanned over the impressive collection, taking in the gleaming finishes and high-end designs. He couldn't remember the names of all the cars, but one in particular caught his attention - A Red La Ferrari California. It was a striking beauty that seemed to pulsate with raw power.

"I'll take this one," he said to the maid who was accompanying him, his voice laced with excitement.

"Mother Evangeline wanted you to have this, Master Fir," the maid replied, handing him a sleek wallet and the keys.

Inside were all his IDs, a stack of cash amounting to around 5000 dollars, and an American Centurion Credit card with no spending limit.

"At least I don't have to worry about money" he murmured to himself, the thrill of the unknown washing over him.

"I guess it's time to see what California has in store for me."
