"Go ahead and enter the domain if you dare. But don't come crying to me if you can't make it out alive." Erika taunted .

Saintess Agnes didn't respond to her taunt and remained silent. The crack in space, caused by the powerful beam of light, didn't reveal what was inside the domain.

However, the energy emanating from the crack was different from Diablo's power. This indicated that the source of this energy was the masked man, the leader of the Moonlight Sanctuary.

"Why aren't you talking now?" Erika couldn't resist taunting them further, her disdain for anything holy fueling her desire to provoke them.

The Vatican had always been at the forefront of the crusade against creatures of darkness since ancient times. To her, they seemed like relentless parasites, refusing to listen to reason or consider the possibility of coexistence with certain creatures of darkness who desired peaceful harmony with humanity.

"So much for your precious unity," she sneered, enjoying the opportunity to disrupt their composure and relieve her boredom.

"We will wait here," Saint Agnes replied with a firm voice. She understood the risk involved in entering someone else's Domain—it would be dangerous if the owner of the domain far outclassed them.

In addition ,the power emanating from within the crack was overwhelming, and they couldn't afford to make a rash decision.

"Well, well, seems like you're finally putting that brain of yours to some use,"

"You...." The people from the Vatican were seething with anger at Erika's provocation. Her disdain and mockery struck a nerve, challenging their deeply ingrained beliefs and convictions.

But despite their seething anger, they refrained from voicing their concerns, respecting Saint Agnes too much to challenge her authority. As one of the only three saints in the Vatican, she held immense power and influence, accounting for a significant portion of the Vatican's strength.

Her words were considered absolute law, and questioning her decisions was almost unthinkable. The Vatican members had no choice but to suppress their frustration and wait for Saint Agnes to make a move.

Her silence spoke volumes, and they knew better than to act without her guidance or consent.

Inside the Domain

Diablo's eyes narrowed as a twisted grin spread across his face.

"What are you planning to do now? You know you can't kill me," he sneered.

Vincent's eyes bore into Diablo, a knowing smirk tugging at the corner of his lips.

"You still believe in fate's protection?," he scoffed, shaking his head.

With access to Fenrir's Memory now at his disposal, he had gleaned a general idea of the situation.

Until he delved into Fenrir's Memory, Vincent had regarded "Fate" merely as a poetic term for destiny.

However, the memories unveiled a profound revelation: Fate transcended a mere word; it was an intricate system governing everything in this world. Like ethereal threads, it intricately weaved through the fabric of existence, orchestrating events beyond mortal comprehension. It was akin to invisible hands, silently shaping the course of all life.

But as fate twisted into corruption, it veered from its intended path, altering Fenrir's predetermined destiny. This changed pushed Evangeline and Elizabeth to resort to forbidden arts in a desperate attempt to unbind him from this malevolent entanglement.

This marked the beginning of their hard journey, for fate would not allow an unfated soul like Fenrir to break free.

Confronted with the inevitability of Fenrir's death, they resolved to find a means to preserve his essence and soul, a task that ultimately shaped Vincent into the person he is today.

Ironically, Fenrir never managed to escape his fate, and now Vincent had become the one who was truly unfated. It was this twist of fate that hindered Fenrir from delivering the final blow to Diablo, even though his attack possessed enough power to vanquish the demon lord many times over.

"Let's see if fate will be able to save you against me," Vincent finally jolted from his deep thought. He pulled out the magic bottle he had been concealing in his domain, and with a surge of power, he activated it.

The magic bottle shimmered with an otherworldly radiance, and a mystical net slowly wrapped around Diablo. His wounds and weakened state made it a swift process, and the bottle soon sealed him completely.

Inside the confining walls of the bottle, the demon lord's furious roar echoed.

"What are you planning to do?" he bellowed, his anger reverberating within the confines of his magical prison.

"Killing you would be a mere waste," he stated coldly. "Instead, I'll absorb your essence, slowly draining the life from you until there's nothing but air."

"Absorb my essence? You're a fool if you think that's possible,"Diablo's laughter echoed with arrogance, a dangerous glint in his eyes.

"A demon lord's essence is far beyond your grasp, especially with your opposite element of ice. Attempting such a feat will only lead to your own demise. You will die but I will be protected by fate" he taunted.

Diablo exuded unwavering confidence, convinced that no matter what Vincent attempted, he couldn't be killed. His belief in the protection of fate bolstered his arrogance, and he chuckled at the notion of his invincibility.

But Vincent's unexpected move shattered Diablo's arrogance, leaving him reeling in disbelief.

The once impregnable bottle began to resonate with his overwhelming energy, seeping through its magical confines. The demon lord's self-assured demeanor crumbled as an intense, scorching sensation enveloped him.

"No, are you mad?" Diablo's defiant scream echoed within the bottle. The excruciating pain of his existence slowly being extinguished engulfed him, forcing him to confront the grim reality of his own mortality.

Vincent on the other hand couldn't help but admire Diablo's tenacity. As expected of a demon lord, the resilience displayed was remarkable. For the past four minutes, he had been channeling his power into the bottle, yet he could still sense Diablo's flickering life force.

However, as the five-minute mark approached, a drastic change occurred. Diablo's formidable form gradually dissolved into a swirling crimson concoction. His existence was obliterated, leaving behind nothing more than a vivid memory of his once formidable presence.

"So, Fenrir was right; I can bypass Fate's control ," his eyes glinted with satisfaction after sensing Diablo's death.

"Now, let's see what this thing tastes like," he chuckled, raising the concoction to his lips and swallowing the essence of the once formidable demon lord.
