"You dare to challenge me?" Diablo sneered, his voice dripping with arrogance. He sensed the presence of multiple energy signatures entering his domain.

Normally, a domain existed in another realm, separate from the physical world. However, Diablo possessed the ability to plant his domain within a fixed space in the physical world, expanding its range while reducing the energy required to maintain it. This strategic maneuver was reserved for situations where he anticipated an intense battle of attritution, allowing him to save energy and buy precious time.

Rising up from his magma throne, he welcome his oncoming adversaries with an arrogant smirk.

He casted his gaze across the horizon, he witnessed an army of flying artificial angels ready to unleashed their power against him.

Beneath the flying angels, devout agents of the Vatican knelt in fervent prayer, their unwavering devotion aimed at sustaining the presence of these powerful angels in the mortal realm.

With utmost dedication, they chanted sacred incantations and offered prayers, their combined faith intertwining with the holy essence of the angels above.

Their prayers acted as a wellspring of power, pouring into the artificial angels and empowering them to transcend their initial limitations.

But, amidst the vast holy army, it was the colossal figure adorned with five pairs of wings that seized his undivided attention.

This angelic behemoth emanated a radiant, strong aura of holiness, a force so potent that even Diablo, with all his power, could not afford to dismiss it.

'I need to stall for time ' his gaze focused on a sword jutting out of the molten ground right beside him. Upon closer inspection, it became apparent that the sword was absorbing the searing heat, adding an air of power to the already formidable weapon.

"Today, I shall bury you all," he warned ominously. His words were not uttered with a deafening shout, yet they reverberated through his domain, resonating with an eerie clarity that reached the ears of everyone present.

"Then tomorrow, I shall bring this world to its knees!" He declared with overwhelming might.

However, in direct response to his audacious threat, a dazzling eruption of blinding holy light burst forth from every direction.

The artificial angels hovering in the heavens transformed into radiant beacons of hope, their ethereal glow piercing through the flames and casting a luminous aura across the battleground.

Beams of holy energy converged upon Diablo, condensing into a swirling vortex of radiant power. The light was intense, illuminating the darkest corners of his domain and banishing the shadows that clung to his presence.

"This damn holy power " Diablo shielded his eyes with his clawed hand, growling in defiance. The assault of the holy light was something he expected, and he was not one to cower in the face of such attack.

A typical Rank S demon would have been swiftly overwhelmed and annihilated by the combined might of the artificial angels and the unwavering devotion of the Vatican agents.

But Diablo was no ordinary demon lord. He had faced countless battles and emerged victorious.

With a burst of energy, he conjured a barrier of swirling infernal flames around him, creating a shield against the incoming holy onslaught.

The flames crackled with demonic energy, hissing and roaring as they fought against the sacred magic.

Diablo's eyes blazed with fury as he pushed back against the torrent of holy light.

The ground beneath him trembled as the battle ensued.

The earth groaned in protest, cracks forming as the clashing energies unleashed their might upon one another. The sky above glowed, as if the very heavens were watching the epic confrontation between the forces of light and darkness.

"You damn humans!" With a sneered of contempt, he leaped into the air, soaring above the battlefield. From this vantage point, he could survey the impact of the holy assault.

The blinding light engulfed the surroundings below, obscuring his view of his own domain, yet he remained surprisingly composed.

Contrary to his usual aggressive temperament, he had deliberately withheld the full extent of his domain's power, refraining from unleashing it in response to the overwhelming radiance.

"Let see if you can take this!" Summoning his powers, he unleashed a storm of giant fireballs, hurtling towards the source of the holy light.

The projectiles streaked through the air, leaving trails of smoke and destruction in their wake. The clash between fire and holy energy ignited the atmosphere, creating a spectacle of chaos and power.

BOOOOOOM!

BOOOOOOM!

BOOOOOOM!

Yet, despite his relentless assault, the holy light persisted. It surged forward, undeterred by his attacks, its radiant brilliance unwavering.

It seemed as though the forces of light were determined to purify his domain, to banish the malice that had plagued it for far too long.

"You think you can kill me with just this ?" He roared in defiance as he continued to increased the intensity of his attack.

But amidst the relentless battle that follow, he soon came to a realization that his adversaries were stronger than he thought. Their coordinated assaults and synchronized attacked compensated for their individual weaknesses .

It was a characteristic he had always despised about fighting against angels—their ability to overcome individual limitations by harnessing sheer numbers and unwavering unity was very troublesome .

But Diablo was not one to surrender easily. He drew upon the depths of his powers again, unleashing another maelstrom of giant fire balls that clashed with the holy light in which resulted to powerful explosion.

BOOOM!

BOOOM!

BOOOM!

The ground quaked from the tremendous impact of the shock waves , and the air crackled with the aftermath of their clash.

Then the settling dust revealed a scene of desolation on the battlefield.

Hovering at its center, Diablo remained unscathed, his imposing figure exuding an unshakable aura of confidence.

Though the blinding holy light attack had temporarily subsided, he understood that this was only the opening act. The forces aligned with the light would not stop because he was keenly aware that the exchange thus far had merely served as the appetizer.

"Come if you dare !"
