"That's right. I believe I have an idea of her plan," Anthony replied, his mind starting to piece together the strategy.They weren't the only ones who could recognize her blood. A demon lord with a very long vendetta against her would surely recognize this ,and go into a frenzy if he caught a whiff of what's inside the vial.
And demons grow stronger as they experience more hatred and anger. It would be utter chaos if Diablo were to lose his mind before sustaining any fatal wounds. Even the combined efforts of the three organizations might not be enough to stop a Rank SSS in berserk mode.
"We just need to follow her instructions. I will entrust this very important mission to you," Anthony said, handing the vial to his assistant.
"Isn't this a suicide mission, Master Anthony?" the male assistant asked, his voice trembling with concern.
He couldn't help but recognize that they were essentially asking him to sacrifice himself. He was certain that once he broke the vial, Diablo would unleash his wrath upon him, and the other groups would likely turn a blind eye to his fate once they realized he was a vampire.
Just imagining Diablo's fire made him cower in fear.
"Don't worry," Anthony reassured, placing a hand on his assistant's shoulder. His face displayed a mixture of false confidence and deceit.
"Evangeline has the ability to revive you if needed. You just have to prove your worth."he assured him. But deep down, he knew it was just all bullshit.
Only a fool would believe in such magical revival abilities. Even the Pope would face immense, almost impossible difficulty reviving the dead with all his holy power and healing power, so how could Evangeline, whose origin is tied to death and darkness, possibly completely revive someone?"
