Vincent couldn't help but feel a shiver of unease crawl up his spine as he observed Benedict's expression . It was obvious that his loyalty and commitment to serving him were genuine and unwavering.

The realization struck him with fear and disbelief – everything had unfolded precisely as Evangeline had predicted. It was a startling revelation that left him questioning the extent of her foresight .

She had meticulously orchestrated this very moment. She intentionally withheld her support for Benedict's power serum, not because she found it useless, but rather because she understood his character all too well. She recognized his pride and his insatiable desire to prove himself, and she calculated that denying him support would ignite his competitive spirit.

By allowing him to face rejection and neglect for a very long time, she knew that he would be driven to seek validation no matter what.

Then, she subtly guided Vincent to reveal his overwhelming power. The next step was instructing him to acknowledge Benedict's efforts, thereby inflating his ego and instantly transforming him into a loyal follower.

"Serve him well, Benedict," a smile formed on her face as she witnessed everything unfold according to her meticulous plan. Benedict held a special place in her grand scheme, not solely due to his strength, but rather because of his intelligence and unique personality.

She knew that immortal individuals, over time, could easily lose their drive and ambition. Many of them simply existed to maintain the status quo, lacking the hunger for growth and progress. However, Benedict stood apart from the rest. His ambition burned brighter than any of her other subordinates, and his insatiable hunger for success was unparalleled.

It was no exaggeration to say that he was the most productive pawn she had among the high-ranking vampires.

"Now that it's settled, let's continue with our meeting here," Evangeline began, her tone commanding yet composed.

"I'm sure that most of you here are already aware of the havoc being wreaked by Diablo in Turkmenistan."

Everyone nodded. While the governments had managed to cover up Diablo's activities from the humans, his existence had become a hot topic of conversation within the supernatural community. After all, he had once been considered one of the apex beings in ancient times.

Of course , the significance of her choice to bring up Diablo's existence was not lost on the people present.

With their wealth of knowledge and vast experiences, they were very familiar with Diablo's past and the irreparable history he shared with the Originals. They were fully aware that Diablo would unleash his wrath upon any Originals he encountered, given what transpired during the war. The same sentiment applied to Evangeline and her siblings as well.

If this had been in the past, it would have been expected for the high-ranking members to oppose the idea. Diablo's return and the potential conflict with their weakened leader would have been met with skepticism and caution. After all, they were not as formidable as they once were, and the risks involved would have been deemed too great.

However, as the high-ranking members cast their gazes upon the man occupying the leader's position, a strong sense of confidence began to emerge.

"If it's him, then it's possible." echoed the thoughts of everyone in the room. The notion that their new leader could significantly increase their chances of defeating Diablo resonated within each of their minds.

Moreover, their assurance was strengthened by the presence of numerous individuals of Rank S and SS at the table. Each of these powerful beings possessed a formidable reputation, their skills and capabilities making them forces to be reckoned with in their own right.

'Good' Evangeline's gaze swept across the room, her eyes lingering on each individual present. The intensity of their focus was visible, and she could sense that there was no need for further explanation. Every person present was well aware that their primary target, the imminent threat they must face, was none other than Diablo himself.

"Evangeline," a beautiful and seductive-looking woman named Flay spoke, her voice laced with a hint of skepticism. She was one of the Rank S witches present in the room, known for her cunning and magical prowess.

"I'm not against the idea of fighting Diablo. I'm confident that we can take him down with our current power ,but have we considered whether it's necessary for us to engage in direct combat at this moment? The Vatican and other organizations are already at the forefront of the battle." she added.

Some of the people present sighed in relief after Flay stepped up. It was the same question that had been bothering them.

"Thank you for asking, " A subtle smile graced the corners of Evangeline's lips, as if she had anticipated the question that had just been voiced. It was a smile that conveyed a deep understanding and a sense of being hundred steps ahead.

In that moment, everyone felt as if they were laid bare before her discerning gaze, their thoughts and concerns open for her to see.

"That's why this is the perfect time for us to execute him," she spoke in a cryptic manner, leaving everyone on edge, eagerly anticipating her next words. They were well aware that she always had a plan up her sleeve.

"We have indeed grown stronger, perhaps to the point where our mere existence would be perceived as a threat by others if we were to reveal ourselves to the world," Evangeline explained, her voice carrying a sense of caution.

Her words struck a chord with those present, as they recognized the truth in her statement. The sudden emergence of a superpower could unsettle the established order, leading others to view them as a threat. The response could range from opposition to outright attempts to exterminate them.

Flay, understanding the implications of Evangeline's words, voiced her concern.

"So, what are you planning to do in this situation, then?" she asked, her curiosity evident.

Evangeline's gaze held a knowing and confident glint.

"That's right. It is precisely because of this delicate situation that we must exercise caution and choose our actions wisely. The Vatican and other organizations are wary of sending their most powerful supernaturals because they are afraid to show their respective trump cards. This presents us with an opportunity to demonstrate our strength under a new banner, the 'Moonlight Sanctuary.'"

The room stirred with excitement, as Evangeline's words hinted at a well crafted plan that was about to unfold. The notion of showcasing their power to the world, not through direct confrontation, but through a strategic display of might, intrigued and captivated their attention.

"Our powerful leader," Evangeline continued, her voice filled with conviction, "will be the embodiment of our collective strength. By revealing our power under the banner of the Moonlight Sanctuary, we will send a clear message to the world. This demonstration will deter others from making reckless moves against us and establish our presence as a force to be reckoned with!."

"That's right! Our powerful leader will guide us to victory!" Benedict was the first to rise, his sudden outburst inspiring others to follow suit."

"Let's take down Diablo and reveal to the world the true power of the Moonlight Sanctuary!" Lowell stood up as well, determined not to be outshined .

"That's right! Let's show the world the extent of our power!"

"Let's show them!"

The other Rank S individuals, simply smiled and suppressed their own excitement due to their status. Nevertheless, everyone had high expectations for Vincent, eagerly anticipating the remarkable things he would achieve.

"Eh?" Vincent's eyes widened in surprise, a tinge of apprehension washing over him as he processed Evangeline's grand plan. His initial belief that their mission was solely focused on defeating Diablo for their protection had been shattered by the magnitude of her ambitions.
