"Aunt Evangeline!" Selene stepped out of the car, her heart brimming with joy, as she rushed towards Evangeline, who was waiting just outside the door of the mansion. It was rare for her to greet someone like this, so it only showed how high Selene's status was in her heart.

"It's been a while. I'm glad that you're okay," Evangeline responded, her smile radiating warmth and affection. She was seated in a wheelchair, patiently waiting for her to get closer.

"I missed you so much," Selene replied , her voice filled with genuine affection.

Despite Evangeline child-like appearance, she was still like a second mother to Selene. She held immense respect for her wisdom, considering her the wisest woman she had ever known. Maybe even the wisest woman in the whole world.

Without hesitation, she enveloped Evangeline in a warm and tight embrace, cherishing the long-awaited reunion. Of course, she controlled her strength, mindful of the fact that Evangeline was currently in a weakened state. She held her aunt gently, ensuring not to overwhelm her with any unnecessary force.

"Thank you for saving me," her voice quivered with gratitude as she expressed her heartfelt appreciation. Her words carried the weight of an indescribable relief, knowing that amidst the darkness of her time in that domain prison, Evangeline had never forgotten about her.

"I promised your mother that I would protect you. I apologized if it took this long before we could rescue you," she spoke earnestly, her voice filled with regret.

"It's not your fault at all, Aunt Evangeline,"

"Aunt Erika already told me what happened. She explained that you had become weaker, and you had to wait for her to come back before planning a rescue... And to be honest , it was my fault fo being weak in the first place."

Selene's words of reassurance washed over Evangeline like a soothing balm, alleviating the burden of guilt that had weighed upon her. A smile of gratitude tugged at the corners of her lips.

"Thank you for your understanding," she replied, her voice filled with warmth.

"And you're not weak at all, Selene. Your mother is an incredible woman. She always finds a way to protect those she loves, even if it means making difficult choices. It seems that you inherit this traits from her.

Selene couldn't help but smile, her heart overflowing with joy and gratitude at Evangeline's heartfelt recognition. In that moment, a sense of warmth and contentment washed over her, lifting the weight of her past struggles.

In the sideline.

"I need to protect them" Vincent watched from the corner , a smile forming on his face as he witnessed the joyful expressions of the two. Seeing their bond and happiness only fueled his own determination.

Inside Evangeline mansion

Vincent, having successfully completed his mission, was now preparing to reenter his domain. The last time he activated his domain, he was unable to fully assess its power and characteristics due to time constraints.

However, Evangeline had given him one week to fully master his domain, allowing him to focus on making it stronger.

Despite her assurance that the surge of energy was a one-time occurrence, Vincent's decided to still be cautious . He understood the potential consequences of underestimating the power his domain

To ensure utmost safety and control, he decided to utilize one of Evangeline's specialized chambers before activating his domain. This chamber was custom-made to isolate and contain any type of energy fluctuations, making it the perfect environment for him to fully explore and unleashed his power.

'Domain, ' he muttered to himself, suddenly the space around him suddenly plunged into total darkness, engulfing him for a few seconds. When the darkness dissipated, he found himself standing within his domain, a perfect replication of the moon.

The lunar landscape stretched out before him, its ethereal beauty captivating his senses. Moonlit mountains, craters, and vast plains extended as far as the eye could see. The domain had flawlessly recreated the lunar environment, down to the smallest detail.

He took a moment to absorb the ambiance of his domain, studying the unique characteristics that mirrored the moon's essence. The landscape exuded an aura of tranquility, yet its latent power pulsed just beneath the surface. Vincent felt a profound sense of belonging within this celestial sanctuary.

As he observed his domain for the second time, he couldn't help but notice the significant improvement in its stability. The energy fluctuations that had previously troubled him were now notably reduced. While some remnants of fluctuation still lingered, they were far less severe than before.

"I will check the energy first ," he closed his eyes, fully immersing himself in his domain, seeking to attune himself to its essence. He aimed to unravel the composition of his domain, understanding its unique characteristics so that he could utilize them to their fullest potential. He knew that each characteristic held the power to enhance his power

In his meditative state, he visualized his domain as a web of energy, each thread representing a unique characteristic that enhanced the power of its user. He began to explore and unravel these threads, examining their properties and their influence on his own abilities.

"I can feel an abundant amount of energy in the surroundings, but I can't seem to control the landscape," he muttered to himself in frustration. He had attempted to create a protruding stone in front of him within his domain but found that his control fell short.

"Wait, this energy!" he exclaimed, his eyes widening in realization as he detected a subtle hint of the ice element within his domain. The discovery thrilled him, as it indicated the presence of yet another characteristic within his realm.

"I need to test this," Vincent declared, a spark of excitement igniting within him. He raised his hand, envisioning the entire area to be covered in ice. With a surge of concentrated energy, he commanded his domain to transform.

As Vincent's intentions materialized, the gray ground beneath his feet began to freeze, coating itself in a layer of frost. The transformation continued, spreading rapidly across the landscape. The once familiar moonlit realm now appeared as a white moon covered with ice, glistening in the ambient light.

"It seems the absence of atmosphere in my domain accelerates the freezing process," Vincent remarked, a satisfied smile adorning his face. He took note of how efficiently the ice formed within his domain, recognizing the influence of the already frigid temperatures of space.

'Next , let's check my control" Inspired by Erika's mastery, he turned his attention inward. With his imagination as his guide, he visualized the form of a magnificent giant serpent made entirely of ice. Concentrating his energy and will, he channeled his control over the ice element, summoning the image of the icy creature to materialize before him.

As he focused, the air around him began to shimmer with a glacial brilliance. The icy particles coalesced, taking shape and forming the magnificent ice serpent. The creature hovered in the air, its crystalline scales glistening with an ethereal glow.

"This is amazing!" he exclaimed, his fist clenched in satisfaction. The progress he had made in mastering his domain, particularly with the ice element, filled him with a sense of accomplishment. He knew that he had reached a level where he could contend with Diablo, the formidable adversary he sought to confront.
