A week had passed since Vincent secluded himself with Erika. His days were filled with relentless training, 24/7, with occasional passionate breaks, as Erika desired nothing more than to be intimate with him. It wasn't that he didn't enjoy it—She was the most beautiful woman he had ever encountered, and he enjoyed every moment that he spent with her.

SWOOSH

SWOOSH

SWOOSH

"Energy Slash!" he roared internally , attempting to strike her with his claws. With her swift reflexes, Erika easily dodged the attack, but the force of the slash caused the entire area to tremble.

BOOOOOM!

The impact shattered the icy floor, but fortunately, they were currently inside her Domain, where such sparring matches wouldn't result in costly damage worth thousands of dollars per attack.

Seeing Erika jump backwards, he swiftly launched another attack, this time using his other hand to strike her.

"Ice Slash!" he roared internally, understanding that it would be foolish to shout out his attack. The slash lacked its usual power, but it caused the surrounding air to freeze.

Erika smiled as she witnessed the incoming attack, summoning her own sword made of pure ice to counter it.

CLANG!

The clash of their attacks created a reverberation of freezing air in the vicinity, as their powers collided in a mesmerizing display of ice showers.

CLANG!

CLANG!

CLANG!

The battle between them intensified, their movements fluid and careful. Vincent lunged forward, his body enveloped in an raw aura, while Erika gracefully danced around him, her ice sword freezing with each swift strike.

"An opening !" Vincent swung his claws, aiming to trap Erika within his icy grip. But she effortlessly sidestepped, spinning on her heels and countering with a swift series of slashes.

SLASH!

SLASH!

SLASH!

Each strike from her ice sword carry a chilling aura, leaving trails of frostbites all over Vincent's body.

"GRRRR" Angered, he summoned a blizzard, icy winds swirling around him. The biting cold intensified as he unleashed a chilling gust towards Erika. But She skillfully leaped into the air, gracefully evading the freezing tempest. In mid-air, she twirled, her ice sword transforming into a whip crackling with chilling energy.

"GRRRRRRR!" In response, he let out a primal roar, a freezing mist escaping his huge mouth, forming a cone of ice breath. The freezing air expanded rapidly, threatening to engulf Erika in its icy grip.

"Do you think you can beat me with this kind of power ?" She giggled as she swiftly lashed her whip, creating a whirlwind of cold and energy that clashed with the incoming frost breath. The same forces collided, creating a dazzling spectacle of swirling elements.

CRACK!

CRACK!

CRACK!

The icy breath and frozen whip vied for dominance, battling fiercely within the confined space of Erika's Domain. The temperature plummeted even further, causing frost to creep across the surroundings .

"Let see what you got, " With a flick of her wrist, the ice whip crackled and snapped into 5 , seeking to bind Vincent.

"Not in my watch " He sneered and swiftly conjured an icy shield all over his body to defend himself, the whip striking against the frozen barrier caused icicles to fly in all directions.

BOOOOM! The clash sent shockwaves through the air, crackling with the power of their attacks.

"Amazing!" Erika couldn't help but admire Vincent's remarkable ability to learn and grow. She had initially expected it would take at least a few months for him to progress this far, yet he had accomplished it within just a week.

"What did Sister Elizabeth and Evangeline do to make him this powerful ?" she mused, her mind filled with curiosity. She had known Fenrir since he was an ordinary werewolf, already stronger than most, but his talents could only be described as genius among genius . However, the person standing before her, the reincarnation of her beloved Fenrir, possessed a talent that bordered on godlike potential.

As the intense battle continued, Erika keenly observed Vincent's body undergoing a remarkable transformation. She could see that his physique was adapting, adjusting, and becoming more efficient in utilizing his ice abilities. It became apparent to her that at this rate, he would only need a month to half master the ice element. This realization left her both amazed and slightly shocked, as it had taken her a painstaking ten years to achieve a similar level of mastery.

Unbeknownst to her, the reason for Vincent's astonishing progress lay within her very essence. While she believed her essence merely granted him control over ice, it held a deeper power. It carried within it fragments of her own experiences and memories of using that very ability.

His body, like a codebreaker deciphering encrypted messages, was gradually decoding those scattered memories. Each battle and each interaction allowed his body to piece together the puzzle of ice manipulation, unlocking his latent potential.

CLASH!

The more he fought, the more his body absorbed and remembered. It was as if he was reawakening the dormant expertise of Erika, utilizing her own essence to tap into a collection of knowledge and skill. The profound connection between their essences went beyond mere control—it was a conduit for accelerating his growth .

THUD

"Let's stop for today," Erika spoke as they both landed on the ground.

Finally, the intense spar came to an end. She gracefully summoned back her domain, allowing the surroundings to return to their normal state. Vincent, now back in his human form, took a moment to catch his breath and admire the progress he had made.

"You did great!" She commended, her voice filled with genuine praise.

"Thank you, Erika" he replied, appreciating the encouragement. "But I know that you were holding back."

Erika simply smiled in response, not confirming or denying his statement. She was well aware of the truth—Vincent's growth had been remarkable, but he still had a long way to go before reaching her level.

Vincent understood that Erika's power surpassed his own. And he was grateful that he possessed the self-awareness to recognize his current limitations. Erika had yet to unleash the full extent of her domain's power, not to mention her possession of a Divine Armament—a formidable weapon capable of withstanding even the most devastating attacks from powerful supernaturals.

Bip Bip Bip.

The sound of a notification jolted Vincent, interrupting the peaceful atmosphere that had settled after their spar. He turned around, his expression shifting from contentment to curiosity, as he walked towards his belongings and picked up his phone. He unlocked the device and opened the message that had just arrived.

"I'm going back to New York. Someone kidnapped my sister." The text from Nathan hit him like a punch to the gut. His face contorted with worry as he read the words. The thought of Nathalie, his dear bestfriend sister , being taken against her will sent a surge of anger through his veins.

"Erika, I need to take a break from training. Nathan just informed me that someone has kidnapped his sister. I have to go back to New York and help him," he declared, his tone resolute.

Erika nodded, understanding the urgency and gravity of the situation. She knew that he had already gained a fundamental understanding of harnessing and separating his energies, which was crucial for his control.

"Go," She replied, giving her approval. She trusted in his abilities and believed that he would continue to improve, even without their ongoing training sessions. She had confidence that he possessed the skills and talent needed to face any challenges that came his way.

As for Erika herself, she had her own mission to fulfill. Evangeline had tasked her with recruiting a powerful Rank SS supernatural she was acquainted with in the past. The timing couldn't have been more perfect. While Vincent focused on saving Nathalie, Erika would embark on her mission, seeking the support and alliance of a formidable ally.

Newyork City

Vincent wasted no time and swiftly made his way to New York to join forces with Nathan. He understood the urgency of the situation and knew that Nathan, fueled by concern and newfound power, might act impulsively. He himself had experienced a similar surge of impulsiveness when he first began to discover his own abilities.

"Where is Nathan ?" he asked one of his guards who he had tasked to monitor his friend.

"Sir, Nathan took it upon himself to investigate. Shockingly, the group responsible for kidnapping his sister isn't even trying to hide their involvement," the guard informed him.

Vincent's eyebrows furrowed in frustration.

"Then why hasn't the police taken any action?" he questioned, a mix of disbelief and anger in his voice.

"Master Vincent, the group that abducted Miss Nathalie is none other than the Red Fang Group, the largest crime syndicate in the entire Northeastern United States," the guard explained.

"The Red Fang Group? " he asked.

"They're involved in drugs, human trafficking, murder, and gambling. But what makes them truly dangerous is that they're led by multiple Alphas and their own pack," the guard revealed, his words carrying a sense of foreboding.

Vincent's eyes narrowed as he listened to the guard's report. The audacity of the Red Fang Group to openly claim responsibility for Nathalie's kidnapping left a bitter taste in his mouth.

"Red Fang Group," he repeated.

"Have the Wayne Family made any attempts to confront them?" he inquired.

"The Red Fang Group's influence stretches far and wide. They have managed to infiltrate key institutions, making it difficult for the Wayne Family to take decisive action." The guard shook his head.

"Nathalie's life is at stake, and we must act swiftly and decisively. Gather our group and inform them of the situation. We will confront the Red Fang Group ourselves and rescue her"

The guard nodded, recognizing Vincent's anger. He instinctively distance himself after feeling his boss killing intent.

"So powerful," he muttered to himself.
