"Mother Evangeline, I've got the report on the recent events in Turkmenistan," a man in his thirties approached, discreetly handing her a confidential file.

"What's that?" Vincent asked as he joined Evangeline in the study room, with Erika by his side.

"This file contains details about a recent incident in Turkmenistan, Brother Vincent" Evangeline replied, her voice carrying a serious tone.

"Incident in Turkmenistan? You mean the one where the rumored Gate of Hell is located?" he inquired. The Gate of Hell was a fascinating location that almost everyone with internet access had heard about.

"That's correct," Evangeline nodded.

On the other hand, Erika wasn't feeling well upon hearing the mention of the Gate of Hell. She had a deep aversion to fire, not just because her power was ice, but also due to a traumatic experience with a fire-controlling demon.

"Brother Vincent, I want you to watch this. It will open your eyes to the dangerous nature of our world," Evangeline spoke, her words laced with a sense of urgency.

"Alright, " he nodded in response.

Evangeline swiftly opened the file and began reading its contents, her eyes scanning the details with focused intent.

The report outlined the joint effort of the Vatican and the local Military force in the area as they dispatched a formidable force to confront a demon.

BOOOOM!

BOOOOM!

BOOOOM!

The video opened, revealing a chaotic scene of intense battle. Diablo, the formidable entity with his crimson aura, clashed with the Vatican angels and a multitude of other supernatural beings. The air crackled with energy as powerful attacks were unleashed, shaking the very ground beneath them.

"Devour them to my world !" With contempt , he called upon his own Personal Domain, enveloping the battleground in an burning pit of hell. Flames danced and twisted, lending him an advantage as he fought against his enemy.

"Keep assaulting that wicked demon!" someone from the crowd of Vatican Operatives shouted, commanding their angels to attack Diablo. The sheer number of angels present was formidable, and even Diablo, with his SSS rank Domain, couldn't overcome such a large force in a short span of time.

Zap!

Zap!

Zap!

The Artificial angels unleashed white laser-like attacks that struck Diablo's body. Though not strong enough to inflict fatal damage, the fact that it contains a small amount of holy elements annoyed him

"Insolent humans and your fake Angels!" Diablo's enraged roar reverberated across the battlefield as he conjured a devastating Area of Effect attack. Flames erupted around him, threatening to incinerate everything in its path. The very air burned from his own power.

"Don't underestimate us, Demon!" bellowed Archbishop Alfonzo, his voice laced with righteous fury. Together with two other powerful archbishops, they summoned 3 Rank S angels, radiating with holy energy, to erect a formidable barrier.

As the angel stretched out its majestic 3 pairs of wings, the barrier shimmered into existence, pulsating with protective golden power.

"Lend us your blessing !" Unfazed by Diablo's wrath, the three archbishops tapped into their own immense powers and activated their individual Domains. A surge of holyenergy enveloped them, amplifying their strength and fortitude. Though Diablo's Domain still loomed over them with greater intensity, their collective effort proved enough to withstand the blistering heat and searing force temporarily .

"Fire!" A command echoed through the ranks of the military .

WHIZZ

WHIZZ

WHIZZ

High speed missiles soared through the air, hurtling towards Diablo with extreme speed. Each explosive projectile carried the weight of their collective resolve, determined to bring down the demonic entity that threatened their country.

"You dare to use this toys against me?" Diablo, consumed by his own ignorance about modern weapons , chose to meet the oncoming onslaught head-on, disregarding the imminent danger. With a mighty swing of his fist, he collided with the incoming missiles, oblivious to the devastating power they held.

BOOOM!

BOOOM!

BOOOM!

But as the missiles detonated upon impact, a cataclysmic explosion erupted, engulfing him in a tempest of fire and shockwaves

"AGHHHH" He roared in annoyance as the shockwave sent him hurtling through the air, his monstrous form crashing into the ground with a resounding impact.

CRASH!

The battlefield fell into a momentary silence as the smoke and debris settled. The fighters stood in awe, witnessing their combined strength and ingenuity triumph over the demon overwhelming power. Victory seemed within their grasp, if only for a fleeting moment.

However, even as Diablo lay momentarily weakened, the infernal fire within him flickered and roared back to life. Rising from the wreckage, his form battered but unyielding, he let out a chilling laugh that echoed across the battlefield.

"Not bad mortals …. You dare challenge me, a god? Your feeble attempts at resistance amuse me!" Diablo's voice resonated with dark triumph, a testament of confidence on his own ability.

"Don't be threatened! He's weakened now. Keep pressing the attack!" The resolute voice of the military commander rang out, rallying the fighters to persevere. With a swift motion, he signaled the activation of the two outdated M270 Multiple Launch Rocket Systems positioned at strategic points across the battlefield.

"Fire"

As the command was given, multiple missiles were launched, streaking through the sky with unrelenting force. The air trembled with their power as they hurtled towards Diablo, their destructive potential ready to be unleashed.

However, Diablo, having learned from the previous encounter, recognized the danger posed by these weird weapons. With a sinister grin curling on his lips, he summoned his otherworldly power, channeling it into a devastating attack.

In a dazzling display of power, he unleashed a torrent of flame blast from his outstretched hand, a heat wave of force that burn the air. The missiles, still in flight, were struck by the searing blast, detonating in mid-air before they could reach their intended target.

BOOOOM! BOOOOM! BOOOOM!

The once mighty projectiles were reduced to mere sparks and ash, their effectiveness rendered useless in the face of his overpowering might.

"No.... way " The military watched in dismay as their most potent weapons were effortlessly neutralized by the malevolent entity. It was a sobering reminder of Diablo's formidable abilities.

"Regroup! We can't let this setback discourage us," the military commander bellowed, his voice filled with courage. "We'll find another way to overcome him. Keep your focus and press on!"

But Diablo was not about to let them have their way so easily. Sensing the resolve of the fighters and the presence of the annoying Archbishops, he knew he had to neutralize them before they could mount a counterattack.

With a simple wave of his hand, he unleashed a torrent of scorching flames, engulfing the military vehicles and the brave soldiers within. Unfortunately, the Vatican operatives was still recharging their holy energy so they were too late to respond.

The roaring inferno devoured everything in its path, reducing metal to molten slag and turning once proud warriors into mere ashes.

"AHHH"

"IT HURTS"

"AHHHH"

The air filled with the acrid scent of burning fuel and the anguished cries of the burned soldiers scattered in the battle field.

Meanwhile, the Archbishops, determined to aid their own allies, summoned their angelic powers, their divine energies blazing with radiant light. But Diablo, sensing their imminent intervention, exerted his formidable control over his domain. The malevolent force exerted a suffocating pressure, suppressing the angels' powers and rendering their divine assistance ineffective.

The Archbishops, their faces etched with frustration , struggled against the force that sought to stifle their holy might. Beads of sweat formed on their brows as they strained to break free from Diablo's influence. Their summoned Artificial Angel's wings, once a symbol of hope and protection, momentarily flickered as the oppressive flame threatened to snuff out their radiant presence.

Yet, even in the face of adversity, they refused to yield. With unwavering faith and unyielding spirit, they called upon the deep well of their holy power. Slowly but steadily, their angelic powers began to push against the oppressive force of Diablo's domain.

The clash between light and fire intensified, the battlefield becoming a battleground of ethereal energies. The Artificial Angels, their power bolstered by the prayers of their believers, fought back with renewed strength. Their wings expanded in a dazzling display of holy radiance, their holy energy surging forth with unmatched intensity.

But Diablo, a god of flame manipulation, was not one to be easily outmatched. With a confident grin, he channeled his own fire energies, pushing back against the valiant efforts of the Artificial Angels.

The fate of the battlefield teetered on a knife's edge, the outcome uncertain. The fighters, their hearts filled with courage, continued their relentless assault against Diablo, hoping to weaken him enough to turn the tide.

As the intense battle waged on , the energy and determination of the Vatican fighters began to wane. The relentless assault from Diablo had taken its toll, draining their strength and pushing them to their limits. Despite their valiant efforts and the wounds inflicted upon Diablo, it became clear that the odds were stacked against them.

"We need to retreat, we can't win this battle" Archbishop Alfonzo sighed, recognizing the futility of their current situation, made the difficult decision to gave up for now. He knew that continuing the fight would only result in further casualties and risked being completely wipe out by Diablo's overwhelming power. With heavy hearts and a lingering sense of defeat, they regrouped and prepared for a strategic withdrawal.

As they made their escape, the Vatican operatives couldn't help but feel frustrated. They had managed to wound the enemy, albeit temporarily, but they knew that his recovery would be swift. In a matter of weeks, he would be back at full strength, ready to unleash his devastating powers once again.

The realization of their limitations weighed heavily upon them. They understood that, at this moment, they were simply not equipped to face the power demon head-on. His overwhelming power and his mastery over his domain were far more superior.

"This is the power of an SSS rank?" Vincent couldn't help but shiver as he watched the video. The sheer power displayed was unnerving. No matter how fast he thought he was, he doubted he could survive being burned to death by the monster in the footage.

Erika remained silent, her thoughts delving into something deeper.

Evangeline, on the other hand, smiled at his reaction. She knew that Vincent was rapidly growing in power and might start to become complacent. The existence of Diablo would surely reignite his insatiable hunger for even greater power.

As for the loss of innocent lives, well, for her, it was merely a necessary sacrifice for the greater good.

"Hard times create strong men, strong men create good times, good times breed weak men, and weak men create hard times," she muttered to herself. The looming war was drawing near, and the world needed to be prepared.
