223 Aroused Enemies

CHAPTER 223
As soon as she got home, she locked her car and went inside her house. All she could think of was getting undressed and diving straight into her bathtub. Perhaps self-pleasuring herself would help her get the relief she yearned for.
Getting upstairs, she opened her door and locked it behind her, threw her bag on the sofa and made her way to her bedroom as she began undressing.
Just when she was in her bra and panties, she decided to switch on the light. She had been too busy in her mind that she failed to notice she did not yet do that.
The second she did that, she was shocked to see someone in her room.
“What took you so long to get home.”
“Oh my goodness!” Quickly Jade used her hand to cover up herself, preventing him from looking at her semi-naked self.
“Hmm, you really need to pay more attention you know.”

He flared his wings before standing up from her bed and turning to face her. “Hello love.”
“What are you doing here?”
“I needed to see you.” He went straight to the point. There was no need to beat around the bush. They both knew what was going on with each other and he knew she was losing it. Since she wouldn’t allow him to talk to her to calm, he might as well just come to her.
“About what?”
“I know it is hard, Jade but...” That was when he noticed that she was still covering up herself with her hands. A very sorry excuse for a cover and especially in front of him. This was a body he had seen a lot and one he had always craved for, even now.
“Seriously? You are covering up in front of me?”
“Yes, I can do that I am not dating you, Xander.”
“Still, consider it as you in a bikini going to the beach.” He gestured towards her while explaining. “Look at me. I am just on pants.”
She rolled her eyes at him. He really had a point there and one that’s he could not easily refute. It was at this time she really took a good look at him and saw that he was totally bare upwards, leaving him in only his pants that he wore when he saw her.
He must have rushed up to see her when he figured out she was suffering without him.
‘Bummer, now he is my drug. I bet that must be what he is thinking about. She cannot handle herself and needs me to relieve her. Bloody dragon!’
In her mental phase, her eyes dropped past his waist and down to his lower region. Immediately her eyes widened as she realized something was wrong.
‘It cannot be. He is... He is hard.’
There was a huge bulge in his trousers. It simply meant that he was going through something similar and if not worse. It was obvious how hard he was but he still managed to keep his cool and for a guy, she knew how painful it could get.
Trying to not seem fazed she shook her head and brought her gaze back up, releasing her hands and standing straight.
‘If he can do it, so can I.’ Jade thought again.
“Fine. So what do you want?”
Unfortunately for her, she did not know that doing that as per his request was the wrong thing to do. The minute her hands fell to her side, he had a full view of her whole body and not also helping with his eyes.
She saw how his eyes changed colours instantly. He was using his vision on her. She felt naked under his intense gaze even though his eyes colour reverted back.
It did not help and subconsciously her curiosity got the better of her as her gaze fell back to his pants and saw his lower member twitch in response.
‘This is bad.’
It took some seconds but he finally got himself back, although it was not easy.
At first, when he got back home he wasn’t hard but when she called and he started talking, his own mate bond activated and he was aroused.
What made matters worse for him was the fact that she was leaving him. Just telling him goodbye alone was not good for him. His fears of losing her kicked it and it was bad.
Quickly he left the guys behind and flew to her house, ignoring the danger of being seen just so he could see her and when he got here, she had not returned.
Although he did not wait too long, the second she drove into the driveway, he could smell her and when she came in through the door, the scent of her arousal filled his nostrils.
It felt like his member would burst and his mind would go insane. His dragon was mad with him. His subconscious was scattered. How could he leave his mate like that, wanting for so long?
It took the grace and goodness of God for him not to pounce on her and allow his dragon to take over because all Xyler would have wanted, was for him to let go of reason and satisfy his mate and mark her.
What a battle he had to fight within himself just for her and yet she still hated him.
“Umm, I needed to see you,” Xander said shaking his head.
“About what?”
“You know what already. Do I need to spell it out?”
“Yes.”
“Fine. I just could not bear the thought of you torturing yourself. You weren’t okay, Jade.”
‘Neither are you and I am not the excuse. I never caused that.”
“Just the way you get aroused easily now because of the mate bond, it is the same for me. A simple thought, fear, name it, it triggers it and it is even worse for me as a dragon. My dragon’s subconscious is trying to break forth and have you but I cannot allow it.”
“Why?”
She decided to be brave and took a step in his direction, coming closer to the bed.
“You know the reason why.”
“To marry me. You know I won’t agree to it.”
“You will when the time is right. You cannot fight fate, Jade. You can’t and no one can. It is our destiny. Even before I knew you were my mate, I loved you and would die for you anytime.”
“But now, you do not want to die anymore.”
“I would die for you any day and anytime and as I said previously, you can kill e if that would satisfy you and bring you joy but trust me, I know. You would hate yourself forever and would not be able to live with yourself.”
Although he spoke the truth, his words only ended up annoying her and she walked up closer to him till they were barely three steps apart from each other. “Shut it, Xander.”
“You know it. But I am not here to fight it out with you. I just want what is best for you.”
“And that is not you.”
“You are hurting me, Jade.”
“I would do so over and over again. I am fine. I can handle this whole thing without you. A cool bath is all I need.”
“You and I know it isn’t. How long do you think you can handle it? I am willing to bet it out with you. It doesn’t help. Your mind would be at stake.”
“I do not care, Xander! I do not and you shouldn’t. I am not marrying you.”
“Stop hurting and denying me.”
“I would hurt you again and again till you feel the rage that is inside of ...”
She did not get to finish the words she was saying when Xander held her hand and closed the gap between them, using the other hands to hold her waist and pull her body to his.
She was left speechless but even that was for a short second as he brought his lips down on hers.
Jade was shocked by the whole thing that she forgot to respond and just had her eyes wide open.
Nevertheless, that did not stop Xander. Her words had been hurtful and that coupled with his never-ending fear of her leaving him took over and all he could think of was claiming her as his.
He was being possessive now, but he didn’t care. He was scared and so was his dragon. He just needed to kiss her to help reassure himself that she was his and no one else.
It was selfish of him but he just could not help make such a selfish choice.
A minute had passed and Jade still did not respond, although her eyes were more narrowed now.
She wanted to kiss him back, ravish his mouth with hers, allowing every fibre in her body to feel him so much and do more than just kiss him but her pride was there and she did nothing.
