Qibao felt asleep in Sheng Youting’s arms with her little hands gripping his shirt tightly. She was even not willing to ease her hands when they got off the car and went back home. Any slight move would awake her like a nightmare. At this time, Sheng Youting needed to comfort her by clapping her back until she gradually calmed down.
Though Sheng Youting wanted to clean Qibao for she got dirty after the incident, he dared not to move. Qibao would shiver and his heart would ache for it.
Qibao slept through to twelve o’clock at noon the next day and Sheng Youting kept the same pose even though he woke up later. Seeing Qibao opened her eyes, he smiled to her, “Qibao, daddy takes you to take a shower. We’d better find mommy later for mommy got sick and she would feel sad if she saw Qibao was hurt by a monster. So how about finding mommy later when we get better?”
Sheng Youting dared not to let Yu Lan see Qibao now. He also didn’t want Qibao to bear this.
However, he had no other alternative. If Qibao now was seen by Yu Lan, she would probably got ill again. It was highly probably for Qibao was hurt so hard.
Qibao nodded her head and Sheng Youting took her to the bathroom. He put her down in the bathtub and gently washed her body by avoiding the bruise part。 The water gradually got dark. After all dirt was washed off, the bruises all over Qibao’s body became evident. Some even got swollen. Her once chubby face was now multiple times bigger because of the pinch.
