655 Jing Jing, Happy Birthday
On Saturday morning, Bai Xi Xi woke up early in the morning and found that her sister-in-law was in the kitchen.
Usually, Bai Xi Xi would sleep in during the weekend. But she remembered that this was a special day. It was Bai Jing Jing’s first birthday. Naturally, this day would be very special.
Bai Xi XI heard that her brother and sister-in-law had invited a lot of people to come to their house and celebrate the little girl’s first birthday. Bai Xi Xi thought that her sister-in-law might need help to prepare and decided to wake up a little earlier.
Zhang Li Xue had her head lowered as she was focusing on something. When she heard the movement, she looked up only to find that Bai Xi Xi was walking into the kitchen. Her lips turned up into a smile. “Xi Xi, you’re up early. Why didn’t you sleep a bit more?”
Bai Xi Xi leaned in and saw that her sister-in-law was preparing breakfast. Seeing the star-shaped sandwiches on the plate, Bai Xi Xi quickly guessed that her sister-in-law should be preparing breakfast for Bai Jing Jing.
“I’m already used to waking up early. Besides, I’m not tired.” Bai Xi Xi took a seat and continued to watch as her sister-in-law do her job. “Sister-in-law, do you need any help?”
“It’s fine. It’s almost done anyway,” Zhang Li Xue said. “But, I will need your help later before the birthday party started.”
Bai Xi Xi nodded. Then, she sat in the kitchen while listening to her sister-in-law talking about their plan for Bai Jing Jing’s birthday.
After a while, she stood up again and made herself a drink. Just as she was about to take a sip, her brother entered the kitchen while carrying the little girl in his arms.

The baby rubbed her eyes sleepily. Her nose and eyes were a little red.
Bai Jing Jing saw her mother and quickly stretched her hand, wanting to shift from her father’s arms to her mother. “Mommy.”
Zhang Li Xue wiped her hands on the towel before taking the baby from her husband. “Jing Jing, you’re up early. What’s wrong? Why are you crying?”
Bai Qi heaved a sigh. “The moment she woke up, Jing Jing has been looking for you. I think she missed her mommy.”
He was in the middle of looking at a few papers when he heard his daughter’s crying voice. The little girl was looking around the room with a confused look on her face while calling for her mommy.

“Did you miss me?” Zhang Li Xue asked. She watched her daughter nod sleepily before leaning over to kiss her daughter on the cheek. “Jing Jing, happy birthday.”
Bai Jing Jing leaned over to hug her mother while acting coquettishly. She closed her eyes, planning to continue sleeping in her mother’s arms.
Seeing this made Zhang Li Xue laugh. “Jing Jing, do you want to eat something for breakfast? Mommy made some sandwich for you.”
The little girl opened her eyes again upon hearing that there was food for her. She peeked at the kitchen counter and saw some of her favorite food. Bai Jing Jing looked at her mother and spoke, “Jing Jing eat.”
Zhang Li Xue laughed upon seeing how her daughter was acting. She watched as Bai Qi pulled the baby’s high chair and spoke, “Jing Jing, will you sit with your aunt and have your breakfast?”
Bai Jing Jing turned around and finally noticed that her aunt was also in the kitchen. “Aunt.”
“Jing Jing, happy birthday.” Bai Xi Xi smiled. The moment the little girl was seated in her chair, Bai Xi Xi leaned over to give her a big kiss on her chubby cheek, causing the girl to laugh happily.
Bai Jing Jing played with her favorite aunt for a while. Once the food was served on her table, the little girl was focused on the food. There was her favorite sandwich and biscuits. Naturally, she has to eat everything carefully.
Her chubby cheek bulged as she ate her breakfast. As the taste of food spread into her mouth, Bai Jing Jing began to smile, showing off her tiny teeth.
“I will go and look at the boys,” Bai Qi said before he turned around to leave.
When the boys walked into the kitchen, Bai Jing Jing was almost finished with her breakfast. She saw her brothers and smiled brightly.
“Jing Jing, happy birthday!” The brothers wished before kissing their sister on the cheek.
Bai Jing Jing laughed happily as she had received so many kisses in the morning. Seeing that everyone was around to eat their breakfast, Bai Jing Jing sat in her chair while watching everyone. She grabbed the sliced apple in her bowl and took a small bite at it.
“Mom, when will the birthday party start?” Bai Xiang asked as he finished his breakfast. His eyes were watching his mother expectantly. He still remembered that his mother had said that Miao Miao and her parents would be coming to his sister’s birthday party.
It had been a while since Bai Xiang had seen the girl and he had so many things that he wanted to talk about.
Zhang Li Xue glanced at her eldest son and smiled. “The party will begin before lunch. There is still time for you to take a shower and wear something nice.”
Bai Xiang glanced at the clock.
Although there is still time before the birthday party begins, Bai Xiang thought that he would need a lot of time to prepare. The moment he finished his meal, Bai Xiang ran into his room, wanting to prepare what he wanted to do.
