305 Heading to S Country
Two weeks later, Zhang Li Xue and Bai Qi finally took a week off from work to head over to S Country.
As he was heading to S Country to settle a few matters regarding his father’s company, Bai Qi did not plan to bring his little sister along. Moreover, Bai Xi Xi was still young and Bai Qi did not want to let her know too much about their father’s death.
Because of this, Bai Qi has been busy, trying to find someone to look after Bai Xi Xi while he was away.
Initially, Bai Qi planned to let his little sister stay with their previous landlord. After all, Bai Xi Xi had lived with the family a few times. His sister might have to skip school for a few days, but at least, Bai Qi did not have to worry about her.
However, when Li Qin Yao heard about it, she quickly offered herself to look after Bai Xi Xi.
Bai Qi wanted to reject this offer as he did not want to take advantage of his girlfriend’s family, but Li Qin Yao convinced him to let Bai Xi Xi stay with her.
This way Bai Xi Xi did not have to skip her school.
Moreover, the house would feel empty without her kids around. Li Qin Yao thought that Bai Xi Xi’s presence would make the house a bit livelier.
After consulting his little sister, Bai Qi finally agreed.

Bai Qi sent his sister to Zhang’s residence, but he still could not help but worry about her.
He helped her to settle into a room and reminded his sister to behave. Then, he also reminded her to tell her auntie if she was feeling uncomfortable.
Bai XI Xi listened to her brother’s long speech obediently. Once her brother stopped, Bai Xi Xi finally spoke again, “Brother, you are worrying too much.”
Bai Qi chuckled at his sister’s words.
“I’m a big girl. You shouldn’t worry too much about me.”
The corner of his lips twitched.
Bai Xi Xi continued to look at her brother innocently. “Moreover, Pretty Sister’s mother is here. She will help to look after me. Brother Bai Qi, stop worrying. You should go and settle your job. Then, come back and pick me up, alright?”
“I will bring you back a few souvenirs, alright?” Bai Qi stretched his hand and patted Bai Xi XI’s head. He still felt guilty about leaving his little sister alone. However, he could not bring her along on this trip.
“Brother Bai Qi, I don’t need any souvenirs. You just have to remember to call me when you’re free.”
Bai Qi heaved a helpless sigh. “Alright. I will call you. Keep the phone I gave you closely, alright?”
His little sister was too sensible. Sometimes, he also hoped that the little girl would act spoiled with him.
He hugged his little sister before he went out to look for his girlfriend and her family again.
Li Qin Yao smiled when she saw the Bai siblings together. She looked at Bai Qi and spoke, “Don’t worry about Xi Xi. She will be fine staying here. The Auntie is also here to help me keep an eye on Xi Xi.”
“Auntie, thank you.” Bai Qi spoke politely.
“Don’t mention it.” Li Qin Yao waved her hand. “Just go and settle your matter quickly. Help me to look after Li Xue while you are in S Country.”
Bai Qi glanced at his girlfriend who was standing beside him. The smile on his face turned softer. “Don’t worry, Auntie. I will look after Li Xue.”
Zhang Li Xue glanced at the time and spoke, “Mommy, Bai Qi, and I should go now. Otherwise, we will be late.”
Li Qin Yao hugged her daughter tightly. “Remember to call me when you arrived. And don’t skip your meal, alright?”
Zhang Li Xu nodded obediently. “Mommy, I know.”
Li Qin Yao spoke a few words to her daughter briefly before watching her leave with Bai Qi to the airport.
Fortunately, her husband had left for the office earlier. Otherwise, that man would definitely pull a face as he watched his daughter leave on a trip with another man.
When they arrived at the airport, Zhang Li Xue and Bai Qi settled with their luggage before they went to look for the Wei couple. It did not take her a long time to find her aunt in the departure hall.
Zhang Yu Ying smiled when she saw her niece. “Li Xue, you are here.”
“Auntie.” Zhang Li Xue went over to greet her aunt. “Have you been waiting for a long time?”
“We only got here a few minutes ago.” Zhang Yu Ying turned to Bai Qi and smiled as the boy greeted her.
Zhang Li Xue looked around and noticed that her Uncle Wei Jun Hao was not around. “Auntie, where’s my uncle?”
“He went to answer a call,” Zhang Yu Ying said. She glanced at her wristwatch and spoke, “There’s still time before our flight. Let’s go to the cafe and sit down for a bit.”
Zhang Li Xue glanced at Bai Qi before she agreed.
The three of them ordered some food and sat down at a table nearby the entrance.
As they ate their snacks, Zhang Yu Ying reminded the two of them of their itinerary in S Country.
Other than helping Bai Qi with his matters, Wei Jun Hao planned to meet a few of his friends as well. Therefore, they won’t be spending most of their time together.
Although her brother had reminded her to look after her niece, Zhang Yu Ying had never planned to keep keep the couple with them all the time. She actually thought that it would be better to let the couple spend their time alone.
Because of Bai Qi’s profession, it was not easy for the couple to have a date. As Zhang Li Xue’s cool aunt, Zhang Yu Ying planned to give her niece some help.
As a young couple going on a trip together, they should use this opportunity to get to know each other well and nurture their feelings.
