After a few minutes, Bai Qi finally pulled over in front of the house.
Just as Zhang Li Xue alighted, her Uncle Wei arrived and parked his vehicle next to her.
Bai Qi walked over to his girlfriend’s side and the two waited for Wei Jun Hao.
“Uncle Wei,” Zhang Li Xue greeted.
Wei Jun Hao gave a nod. He looked at the couple in front of him and spoke. “Just arrived?”
“Un.”
“Then, let’s go in together,” Wei Jun Hao spoke. His gaze stopped at Bai Qi again and he flashed the man a faint smile.
Wei Jun Hao was still in the office a while ago, looking at a few documents, when his wife called. She told him that their niece will be coming over with her boyfriend, and he should come back home to have lunch with them.
As someone who listened to his wife, Wei Jun Hao would naturally agree. Fortunately, he was not that busy and could look at the documents later.

Zhang Yu Ying walked out and was surprised to see them together. She finally looked at her niece and smiled. “Li Xue, you’re here. Go and invite Bai Qi to sit down in the living room first. The food will be done in a bit.”
“Aunt, do you need my help?” Zhang Li Xue spoke.
“No need. No need. Just stay with Bai Qi and make yourself at home. I’ll call you when the food is ready.” Zhang Yu Ying turned to her husband and the two of them headed into the kitchen together.
Zhang Li Xue watched as their figure disappeared into the kitchen. Then, she looked at Bai Qi and hooked their arms together. “Do you want to sit here? Or walk around the garden?”
“Well, up to you.” Bai Qi touched the tip of her nose and smiled.
“Then... let’s head over to the garden. Their garden is quite beautiful.”
Holding hands, Zhang Li Xue led Bai Qi outside to the garden. Since her aunt and Uncle Wei already know that she was dating, the couple did not have to hide from being seen.
Knowing that Bai Qi was concerned about what her aunt was going to tell him, Zhang Li Xue deliberately talked about something else to divert his attention.
The Wei family’s garden was surrounded by a lot of flowers.

Bai Qi chuckled. “No.” He took a step back, just so he could get a better view of her girlfriend with the flower background. “It’s just that, you’re too beautiful.”
The shade of pink on her face turned deeper. Zhang Li Xue was too embarrassed that she was unable to say a word. Her heartbeat accelerated.
Bai Qi seemed to enjoy the look on her face. “Un. My little fairy.”
This was the second time that she had heard him call her his little fairy. Zhang Li Xue bit her lips shyly and spoke, “Why am I your little fairy?”
His lips tilted up into a smile, but Bai Qi did not explain further.
This girl seemed to forget that she had once called herself a flower fairy and said that she will make a good team with his tree.
He stretched his hand and played with a few strands of her hair.
At this time, Zhang Yu Ying came out to tell them that the food was ready.
The couple walked into the house and Zhang Li Xue saw that her aunt had prepared her favorite chicken wings.
“Fortunately, I brought some chicken wings from the market yesterday,” Zhang Yu Ying said when she saw the bright look on her niece’s face.
Zhang Li Xue went over to her aunt’s side and hugged her arms tightly. “Aunt, I know that you love me the best.”
Zhang Yu Ying laughed as she saw her coquettish act. “Alright. Go and sit down. Let’s eat first. Bai Qi should be hungry as well, right?”
The group of four ate their meal, but the Wei couple did not mention anything about what they wanted to speak to Bai Qi.
After the meal, Zhang Yu Ying asked the auntie to bring out some fruits and let Zhang Li Xue and Bai Qi sit in the living room.
Wei Jun Hao returned to his office for a while. Then, he came out with a file in his hand and sat in the living room.
Bai Qi glanced at the file in Wei Jun Hao’s hand and his expression turned serious. He could not guess just what would the couple tell him.
“Bai Qi, after listening to your story the last time, I have asked your Uncle Wei to investigate what had happened,” Zhang Yu Ying spoke. A faint smile curled on her lips. “I hope that you would not mind this.”
She would always remember Bai Qi’s late grandmother. The last time they met, Zhang Yu Ying had accompanied her niece to see Bai Qi one last time. The old woman was gentle and Zhang Yu Ying liked her.
“Aunt, I don’t mind.”
“Initially, I only asked your uncle to investigate to understand what happened to your family,” Zhang Yu Ying continued. “Your Uncle Wei had a few friends in S Country and we were able to learn about that matter quickly.”
A few years passed and it seemed that there was a lot of missing information. If it was not for Wei Jun Hao’s friends, it would be difficult for them to grab the news.
Zhang Yu Ying glanced at her husband before speaking again, “Bai Qi, your father’s business did not go as bad as you thought.” She took the documents from her husband and continued, “This is what we found, but there are a lot of things that we still have to investigate further. The company had the chance to recover if it was not for a few of his friends setting him up.”
