Everyone became frozen, no one moved or blinked.

Complete silence descended on the whole summit, to the point where even a single sweat dropping on the ground was heard as loudly as thunder!

"Crap it! I just wished to burn his skin a little, I never expected him to turn into ashes!" blurting out loud, Raven turned his palm toward himself and with a dumbfounded look stared at his hand for several seconds.

Then, as if sensing the numerous stares on his skin, he slowly raised his head, shocked to see how everybody was looking at him like a monster.

'The fuck? You guys in one moment try to kill me with bloodlust then in the next are pissing your pants from fear? Fuckin' decide what you want to do!'

Feeling a little irritated, Raven straightened his posture and spoke loudly, "So? What now?"

The question was simple, yet for those around Raven felt as if a heavy and at the same tim invisible pressure had fallen on their shoulders.

For some reason, they all knew instinctively, that what they will do in the next few moments will decide whether they will be able to leave this place alive or not.

"I... I surrender!"

"M-Me too..."

"Fuck this shit! There is just no way I will risk my future over just a few rewards!"

"Damn it!"

Amongst curses and disappointed sighs, people one after another began to lower their Artifacts and drop onto their knees, showing that they no longer wished to fight and surrendered.

Naturally, they chose to fall onto their knees not because they have chosen to do so, but because, different from Raven, their task in this Realm Game was to either steal the Relic away from the current Monarch or to kneel before him and surrender!

By choosing the latter one, although they decided to give up on getting their hands on awesome treasures, they could still obtain a little bit of a reward while also keeping their lives and also their Artifacts.

It was better than losing everything, right?

With a seemingly indifferent gaze, Raven watched as over a thousand individuals fell on their knees while only a few, about a hundred or so remained standing, seemingly hesitant about what they should do.

"Damn it! I will die instead of kneeling before a clown!"

Suddenly, a guy with a long scar running down the right side of his face yelled with frustration before he raised his hand and pointed an old wooden staff at Raven.

"I will fucking kill you and take that Relic!"

Once the guy said those words, the tip of his staff lit up and a white circle formed right below Raven's legs, making him feel as if the ground below him all of a sudden turned soft and slimy!

"Say goodbye to your fucking life, lose-" the guy was about to swing his staff downward, seemingly to activate his Artifact's power, when suddenly a black silhouette appeared before him and sliced him into two perfect halves from head to the groin!

This sight, of course, shocked many and forced those who were hesitant to quickly kneel down and surrender, making them realize that against Raven, with that Relic in his possession, they stood no chance at all!

They would just throw themselves right into their own demise, even if they would have decided to join hands.

Of course, what they did not know, was that the crown on Raven's head while granting him inhuman and almost seemingly devastating powers, if all the thousand of them would have decided to fight him, sooner or later they would have won.

After all, just like everything else in all existence, that crown too had its own weaknesses and limits.

'It seems fear can really beat greed, it just depends on the situation.' Raven sighed with relief and leaned forward to stretch a little as all his muscles in his body felt sore after crashing into the ground, only to feel as something sharp and cold swept past just inches above his head.

'?!'

Upon seeing the panels popping up right before his face, Raven, although both confused and surprised, with cold sweat rolling down his face jumped several meters forward and while in mid-air turned around.

And to his absolute shock, just a single foot away from where he had stood a moment ago, Felix stood calmly, a shining green short sword held by his hand with an indifferent face!

"Hm... I could have really sworn it will be a clean strike, but it seems, in the end, I was still right." Felix spoke just as calmly as ever, showing no signs at all that a few seconds ago he wished to severe Raven's head off with his weapon!

On the other hand, several meters away from him, Raven stood with a stiff expression hidden behind his mask, cold sweat rolling down from both his forehead and back!

'This makes no sense... he came from behind me and wished to kill me, so why didn't the shadow kill him?' taking a deep breath Raven frowned, but soon his eyes widened and something that soured his mood popped up in his mind.

'Those with wicked intentions... It must be because of that. But how did he figure it out this fast?' pondering silently, Raven's raised his hand subconsciously to his neck, thanking both the gods above that he was not killed and also his necklace it seemed it played a huge role that he was still alive.

It seemed, for the first time since he has it, luck saved his life!

Watching as Raven stood motionlessly in front of him, Felix lowered his hands, pointing his sword's tip toward the ground, and after a small while he asked, "How did you do it?"

"...Do what?" Raven asked, unsure what Felix wished to know.

Felix, however, just smiled and continued, "You know perfectly well what I mean. Your strength and also your Traits... Despite being Rank 6, your real strength is way higher than that, perhaps Rank 10 or even Rank 11? Just how did you become that strong in such a short amount of time, huh?"
