Raven stood still in one place with a hollow expression, his body frozen like an ice sculpture. As for the man he had just asked as if he had been scared after seeing his ghostly pale expression of Raven, yelped and ran away.

"No... No... No... This can't be true." Raven mumbled with a glassy face which quickly turned nonchalant.

Luckily, after spending a massive amount of time in that eternal darkness, he was able to learn how to control both his mind and emotions, hence allowing him to quickly calm himself down whenever he was on the verge of panicking or breaking down.

That is just how strong his mental strength has truly become.

"So it was not three months but three years... Three years trapped in that pitch black darkness." Raven wished to laugh out, however, the only thing that came out of his mouth was a deep sigh.

Now he understood. Now it all made sense. Now everything was as clear as day.

Why was that every building, every device, and every vehicle around him looked more advanced than what he could remember?

Why was it that people had inhuman appearances despite clearly being humans?

Why was that everyone around him emitted a stronger aura, one that before he had been teleported away was never there?

It was because everything has changed, and not in just 3 months but 3 years!

3 years!

That was an insanely tremendous amount of time...

'So that's how it is...' Raven showed a wry smile before glancing to the side.

There, on a restaurant's window, he could see his own reflection, one that except for his now golden iris didn't seem to have aged at all.

Wait... what?

Golden eyes?

Raven's eyes widened and stepped before the window, leaning closer to it to get a better look. And sure enough, there it was, his iris as golden in color as a well-polished gold!

And if he leaned even closer, he was able to notice how the edge of his iris had deep black color, one that swirled and moved.

They were the black threads that drilled themselves into his eyes and now we're a part of his iris!

'How did this happen?' Raven wondered dumbfoundedly before he concluded that this was very likely the result of his seal getting broken.

'That vision... So it was truly a memory of mine?' Raven placed a finger below his chin as he fell into deep thoughts.

'If that is truly the case, then does that mean those two individuals are... my parents? After all, although for just a split second but I could see the mark on that newborn's cheeks. It was the same as mine.'

'However, if that is true, does that mean I am not a human but a... god? But I clearly am a human. I have not had any godly powers, only those that are given to me through this Avatar Status.'

'But let's say I am truly the child of two eternal existences. Why did they send me here? They have talked about this oath and something about that only through me can they regain their freedom...'

'Also, which also was the most important, why was... Why was mother there? She was the one who brought me here onto Earth? But then does that means she is also a...'

'AAARRRGH! Too many questions yet no answers at all!'

Raven clenched his teeth as he felt both powerless, helpless, and mostly... lost.

Lost because he didn't know what to believe in or what to think.

"Sigh..." taking in a deep breath before exhaling heavily, Raven regained his composure and turned around.

Whatever may be the truth, all of that does not matter right now as it was pointless to think about them. On the other hand, finding Luna and his fat-, Old Dan was something that truly mattered at the moment.

'I wonder just what kind of faces they will make once they see me alive...' Raven smiled bitterly and quickly began to walk.

As he had no money at him nor could he ask anyone to help him, he had no choice but to walk back to Old Dan's mansion.

'What a pain in the ass...' Raven clicked his tongue a little annoyed, but shortly after he began to walk his steps came to a halt and his eyes widened.

>|Zeusbridge|<

'Huh?'

Raven raised a brow before looking at a young woman beside him and pointed at the sign that floated above a medium-sized circular platform.

"Excuse me. What is that?"

Upon hearing the unfamiliar voice, the young woman looked at Raven indifferently, only to become dazzled a second later.

"Umm... Excuse me?" Raven was confused when he saw how the woman stared straight into his eyes, making him feel slightly uncomfortable.

"E...Eh!? Oh... I apologize, what was the question... again?" snapping out of her daze with a blush on her face, the woman quickly asked Raven to repeat his question. However, when her eyes fell on his dress, which was full of holes and covered in dried-up blood, her face instantly paled.

Ignoring the face she made after seeing his suit, Raven kept a straight face and pointed at the sign, "Over there. What is that thing?"

"Huh? The Zeusbridge?" the woman although scared a little still became confused and explained, "That is the new teleportation device, Lord Wright's recent creation. With it, one can easily travel from one place to another in an instant."

'What?' Raven was surprised for a split second before a grin formed on his face, 'So you have come this far already, huh?'

Then he asked, "I see, and do I need to pay to use it?"

"Unless you wish to traverse further away than 50 miles or if you are carrying more than one piece of luggage with you, you don't have to pay anything."

"I see, thank you very much." Raven nodded and quickly walked over to the circular device, only to realize the circular platform was diverted into two parts.

One for departure and one for arrival.

Obviously, he quickly stood on the former, immediately causing his body to be enveloped in white light while a robotic voice sounded from somewhere under his feet.

"Destination?"

'Destination?' Raven thought and pondered silently before his lips curved upward and stated, "Black Moon City."

And just as he thought, the very moment he has spoken those three words, the white light around his body grew brighter until it swallowed him completely.

And a second later, he found himself right before the doors of the Black Moon Guild, causing him to close his eyes and take a deep breath.

"...I am back."
