Liu Yong's heart stirred with a newfound determination. While others struggled to locate the crashed plane, Liu Yong believed he could find it.

The Overlord, his trusty pet, had been idle lately, making it the perfect candidate for the search mission.

Bawang currently resided in the Indian Ocean, only a few hundred nautical miles from the crash site speculated by experts. With its impressive speed, Bawang could reach the location within two hours.

Discovering the plane's wreckage would be an incredible achievement, allowing them to request compensation and rewards from the YD government.

Determined to proceed with this plan, Liu Yong made a mental note to contact Overlord later to arrange the search mission. Sitting with Ding Wen, he finished his coffee, stood up, and bid farewell.

Observing Liu Yong's departure, Ding Wen couldn't help but say, [ " Brother Yong, can't you just stay here? " ]

Liu Yong responded, [ " I still have some urgent matters to attend to. We can catch up next time. Besides, since it's nearby, it's convenient for me to come here. " ]

Understanding the situation, Ding Wen politely escorted Liu Yong downstairs and watched him leave in his car. However, he regretted not having the chance to discuss an important matter with Liu Yong.

The construction of the Universal Building was progressing rapidly. The foundation piles had already been completed for hundreds of meters, and based on the construction's pace, the building would likely be topped off in less than a year. Ding Wen had a straightforward request for Brother Yong: to rent two or three floors of the building for Hanhai Culture's new office space.

Unfortunately, Liu Yong had left quickly, seemingly preoccupied with something meaningful. Ding Wen could only postpone the discussion until their next meeting.

Upon returning to his office, Liu Yong closed the door, settled into his boss's chair, and opened the pet panel, preparing to contact Bawang. Suddenly, Liu Yong was pleased to see the Overlord's growth. Overlord had increased from 195 to 211 tons in just two or three days, marking a change of —a remarkable achievement.

Liu Yong wondered if Bawang had consumed another giant strange fish, as such rapid growth was otherwise inexplicable. The Overlord's growth rate would typically be only one or two tons daily. Excited by Bawang's rapid development, Liu Yong was curious, [ " Overlord, what have you been eating? Another giant strange fish? You've grown significantly in just two or three days. " ]

Bawang responded, [ " Master, I was fortunate enough to catch another giant monster fish, though it weighed only around 200 tons. It wasn't as large as the previous one, so it wasn't as enjoyable. " ]

[ " I revisited the trench today, searching for that giant monster fish with the enormous claws, but unfortunately, I couldn't find it. Instead, I settled for a 30 to 40-ton white monster as my meal. " ]

Bawang spoke in one breath, seemingly eager to share his experiences. But Liu Yong had interrupted the conversation where the Overlord was talking endlessly if he didn't interrupt.

Interrupting Bawang's monologue, Liu Yong gave an explicit instruction,

[ " Overlord, I have a task for you. " ]

Upon hearing that a new mission awaited, Bawang's enthusiasm resurged, prompting it to exclaim, [ " Master, do you want me to sink a few ships? Don't worry; it's all in good fun. I particularly enjoy such activities. " ]

-Haha!

Liu Yong chuckled and said, [ " You, always love causing trouble. This time, I don't need you to sink any ships. I need you to find something. " ]

Liu Yong proceeded to explain the details of the task to Bawang, who listened attentively. After comprehending the mission, Bawang assured Liu Yong, [ " No problem, that sea area isn't far from here. I'll head there immediately. " ]

Without further delay, Bawang grabbed its colossal spear and set off, swimming swiftly towards the sea area mentioned by Liu Yong. In less than two hours, the Overlord arrived at its destination, diving down to the seabed for a thorough search.

The sea in this area had varying depths, ranging from hundreds to thousands of meters. At such depths, darkness pervaded the seabed. However, Bawang possessed super-sense, enabling it to navigate the dark depths while searching diligently.

Two more days passed......

The YD government dispatched numerous forces to search the designated sea area, and the international community assisted. Several countries sent ships, divers, and helicopters to aid search efforts.

The sea area became a frequent location for helicopters flying at low altitudes and fixed-wing aircraft patrolling the skies. Despite the consistent search operations, there appeared to be no progress or significant findings.

Meanwhile, in his office, Liu Yong collaborated with Bawang's search work through third-party vision. Under this vision, even the dark seabed became clear and discernible. Bawang served as the focal point, providing a clear view of the surroundings within a radius of 1,000 meters.

This arrangement facilitated faster searches, and Bawang's swimming speed increased slightly. The situation on the seabed became vivid, occasionally revealing large schools of fish passing by. However, the desired discovery remained elusive.

As the afternoon approached, signalling the end of the workday, Liu Yong was gradually losing hope. Experts' speculations regarding the potential crash site seemed fruitless, as Bawang had thoroughly combed the designated sea area without finding traces of the plane's wreckage.

Liu Yong's enthusiasm waned, and he pondered whether those experts were merely speaking nonsense. He doubted the plane had crashed in the suggested sea area, as Bawang would have undoubtedly found the wreckage by now.

-KNOCK - KNOCK KNOCK!

Suddenly, a series of knocks on the door interrupted Liu Yong's thoughts. Hu Shijun barged in, his face beaming with joy as if he had received fantastic news.

[ " Brother Yong, the latest news is that the YD government has announced a reward of $20 million for anyone who provides valuable clues about the crashed plane. If someone finds the wreckage, they will be rewarded with a direct sum of $100 million. " ]

[ " What? " ] Liu Yong exclaimed, surprised by the revelation.

After recovering from his initial astonishment, Liu Yong chuckled.

-hAHA!

Hu Shijun suggested, [ " Brother Yong, what about if we give a shot for $100 million reward? Our large salvage ship is currently without a mission and lying idle. Why not send it to that sea area? Perhaps we would be lucky. " ]

[ " Thats a good idea ",] Liu Yong said with a bit of hope.
