Han-Yeol stayed home for three days, playing with Mavros to his heart’s content.

Contaminate gave the Vampire Hunter the ability to bite a Hunter’s neck and turn them into vampires with skills equal to their rank. Also, these Hunters would become weak against sunlight once they were converted into vampires. It was just like what mainstream media portrayed.
Of course, they did not burn away or disintegrate like seen in the movies, but they suffered the penalty of having their stats and abilities take a massive hit. However, these could be offset as long as they traveled together with the Master Rank Vampire Hunter, who granted them immunity to sunlight and a 120% buff on top of that.
The guild that this Master Rank Vampire Hunter ruled was composed of such Hunters, who had been contaminated and converted into vampires.
There were quite a lot of such unique Hunters, so Han-Yeol was considered a slight anomaly but nothing too amazing. To be precise, in the eyes of the world, he was just someone who had gotten lucky and had awakened with a few more skills compared to others.
