'Father!' Kyran exclaimed in his heart, recognizing Cade's voice.
Following Cade's declaration, several array formations appeared above the estate. Concentrated magic energies formed at th center of these arrays and aimed at Obstruction's location.
Obstruction's countenance dimmed at once. After finally escaping from Kyran's ridiculously powerful punches, he decided not to dally and bring Kyran and the whole Regis Estate outside the Human plane.
Truth be told, Obstruction's level was not entirely unrestricted by the Human plane. Currently, he could exert the strength of a Sage, which was the highest level that a plane could have below a Sovereign. Since no one knew how strong a Sovereign was because normally their levels were restricted upon entering the plane, Layla mistook Obstruction's level had not been restrained.
On the other hand, Kyran thought Obstruction's level had not been restrained because the rings on the latter's back remained that of a diamond make- a testament of his mage level based in Nuom plane's magic system.
In any case, Obstruction wanted to take the Regis Estate along with him because he had sensed a strange magic originating at its center. He suddenly recalled a rumor which said that the Heart of the Cosmos remained in the Ancient Land and had never left.
Obstruction wanted to know if the strange magic he sensed at the center of the Regis Estate was caused by the Heart of the Cosmos. If it was, then it would explain why the current Soul Emperor was obsessed about 'taking hold' of the Regis Clan.
Alas, just when he was planning on taking the whole estate with him, a newcomer arrived and brazenly activated a 'Grand Array.'
Seeing all the arrays aimed at him, where concentrated magic energies were gathering, Obstruction could understand why it was called a 'Grand' Array. Anyone faced with such scene would truly feel their grandness. If a mage below a Legendary was faced with these arrays, they would definitely tremble in fear.
But Obstruction was different. He could still exert strength of a Sage. These arrays would not really pose any threat to him!
In that instance, Obstruction decided to stop his move and change it. Soon the disc on his back split into two parts and the space distortion within a hundred meter he had summoned shifted and flew to intercept the Grand Arrays' trajectory before they fired.
In three seconds after the space distortions moved, all the arrays in the sky finally released the concentrated magic energies they had gathered.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
A series of explosions reverberated in the air as the concentrated energy beams collided with the space distortions.
The land shook and the air crackle from the destruction in the sky that occured because of the collision of these two power.
Meanwhile, Kyran could not help but frown after watching the arrays above.
That was obviously not the Grand Array! As far as he knew, these arrays were the ones his uncle prepared to ensure no one would dare attack the state while they were gone.
Come to think of it, Kyran had thought Obstruction had already destroyed Jared's array because because it was not active when Obstruction brought the whole Ravenpass above the Regis Estate's Outer Wall.
'Could it be...?' Kyran suddenly realized something and he let his five senses observe the whole estate.
Soon, he realized that there were several familiar auras that were scattered everywhere!
Could it be that his father had already prepared this scenario ahead of time?
True Void once commented how Kyran's father possessed far better insight than him. Kyran did not refute because he agreed.
If his father had already expected Kyran's move, and possibly Obstruction's, he might have really staged a scene wherein the latter was unaware that the arrays attacking him now was not the real Grand Array but the formation Jared had created to protect the estate from outside attacks.
Why did Cade stage such a scene?
Kyran guessed his father wanted to gauge what Obstruction could do and at the same time, avoid the latter from discovering what the Grand Array truly was.
It was not because Cade believed Obstruction was aware of the existence of the Grand Array. Because if he knew about it, he would not have tried to 'take' the whole Regis Estate. Cade only wanted to show a consistent scenario to the person who likely knew the existence of the Regis's 'Grand Array.' Layla.
With this in mind, Kyran decided to go along.
As if affirming Kyran's thoughts, Cade's voice sounded in his head.
[While this guy is busy dealing with Jared's array, we'll activate the real Grand Array.]
'Yes, father. Welcome back,' Kyran could not help but add with a smile.
Having his father back was a good addition to their side especially after losing Nolan.
Cade chuckled at Kyran's welcoming. But he still replied.
[I'm sorry it took me a while. But I am here now.]
'Yes.'
Without further ado, Cade continued to discuss the matter at hand.
[I have taught you how to read the estate's map before and my essence taught you about the Grand Array's three main points.. go to point I73 and prepare the array formula my essence showed you. If that formula is correct it should connect to the next point.]
'R10,' Kyran replied, remembering the points where each of the Array Saints must create the array formulas that would eventually activate the Grand Array.
These array formulas are called Keys. Basically, they are meant to unlock the Grand Array's main formation. To do this, the Key formulas has to be placed in three locations: I73, R10, and finally, Alpha 37. These points only corresponds to the Regis Estate's map and is not applicable to the empire's.
If the Key formulas missed any of these points, then the Grand Array's main formation will not be activated.
[That's right. Your uncle, Jared is already in point R10 and is already preparing the formula. I am also in position and will wait for the completion of the formula in Jared's side.]
Cade did not tell Kyran the reason he asked him to prepare the first formula was because he was faster than Jared.
Jared was also aware of this, which was why he proposed to be the second one to prepare the next formula.
As for the last one, Cade was the only one among them who could do it. Because he was the only one who knew the whole array formation by heart.
While it was true that Cade's essence taught Kyran about the Grand Array. He could not teach the whole formation because at the time of his creation, Cade's knowledge of the Grand Array was incomplete.
'Understood.'
Without waiting for his father to reply, Kyran warped to the location of the first formula.
'True Void,' Kyran called.
True Void, who felt as if his core were being ripped apart a moment ago was feeling a lot better and followed Kyran.

If this happened any other time, True void would have been very excited to know that his real body was actually nearby. But since the location was currently a battlefield, he was not thrilled at all!
What if his body got caught up with Kyran's monstrous attack? Not to mention, what if he used the Void and released a huge sphere to turn everything to nothingness? What would happen to True Void's real body if it was within the area Kyran used his magic?
Because True Void was truly scared, he immediately said before Kyran could continue what he was about to say.
[Void Halfling, I beg of you. Don't you ever, and I mean NEVER, use your Void magic rampantly.]
The he recalled Draconic magic was far more destructive than Void and instantly rephrased his words.
[Actually, make that do not use your Void AND Draconic magic rampantly, okay?]
Kyran knew why True Void had said that. He had the same thoughts and believed the latter's body was hidden in the Regis Estate.
'Nevermind that,' Kyran told him. 'I need your help to check on the others-.'
[WHAT DO YOU MEAN NEVERMIND THAT? OI! OIII! That is my real body alright? You can't brush it off like that! I still want to return to my true majestic body!]
Kyran could not help but smile wryly at True Void's words.
To be honest, after Neo attained sentient, Kyran's desire of finding Caelan's weapon had wane.
It was not because he did not care about True Void getting his body but that it now did not seem urgent.
'I know, sorry. I did not mean it that way.'
