Void magic does not include healing properties. It does include creating and returning things from and to nothingness.

Thus, Kyran's purpose in inclosing the Conclave members with his magic sense was to cover their wounds and stop them from bleeding out. After that, he used one of Draconic magic's properties: body strengthening. Because he could not share his healing abilities with them unless these people were connected through a Sigil, doing this would at least help them strengthen their bodies and endure the pain.

Another reason Kyran could not maximize the use of his magic sense was that it was his first time combining the Draconic and Void magic to this extent. Before, he would only do so with a small range and only to scout his surroundings. It was his first time using them together in such a large range and actively using both magics' properties.

Because some of the properties of both magic contradict each other, Kyran had to be careful. Frankly, if not for the Shaiha's assistance in containing both magic in his magic core, the two magic would have already gone haywire.

"Attack! Do not let him do as he pleases!"

"It doesn't matter if our attacks won't work on him! Keep on attacking and slow him down!"

Shouts from a higher ranking member among the enemy Grand Masters could be heard while Kyran moved about and killed their Array Specialists.

However, no matter what they did, they could not hurt or slow Kyran down.

"Where are the Support spells?"

Someone barked amidst the attack.

The others who heard him were also wondering the same thing. If the mages with them with support-type innate magic cast status spells on Kyran, they might be able to slow him down.

However, since the latter had taken action, they had not seen any such spells being launched.

Unfortunately, all their Support mages had fallen too far back and were unaware of the current situation near the main tower.

They had retreated upon the instructions of other leading members in fear that the Conclave would target them first. After all, Support mages could not only cast negative status ailments but also positive ones.

As the last Array Specialist fell, all the Grand Masters got flustered. Still, they did not stop attacking Kyran with all sorts of fire magic spells.

Still ignoring the rest of the Grand Masters, Kyran warped toward the Array Formation once more.

CRACKLE!

The space between him and the formation distorted as Kyran failed again to get close to it.

'What is happening?'

"I already told you my death doesn't mean you can destroy the formation!"

A woman's voice echoed from behind Kyran.

Kyran's brow furrowed as he looked toward the direction where the voice had spoken.

On the ground below, where the woman he had just killed was looking at him with a sneer on her face.

One after another, the Array Specialists that he killed also stood up. They even picked up their heads and attacked them back to their bodies.

The Grand Masters nearby who witnessed this were flabbergasted. They would have been frightened out of their minds if not for the fact that they had known these people were no longer humans. At least, they were not these mages' real bodies.

Just like Osric, they were already dummies. However, their souls were inside. If their dummy bodies were destroyed completely, they would have trouble 'reviving.'

Avrum, Emery, Vaness and the rest of the Conclave members and Army soldiers, who were still holding the main tower's defensive line, were shocked at what they had witnessed.

They had been busy defending but also closely watched Kyran's movement because they were looking for a chance to join him outside the main tower's defensive line. However, they could not even rejoice about Kyran killing the enemy Array Specialists and the woman because they suddenly 'returned' from the dead.

What exactly is happening?

Unlike them, however, Kyran was well aware of what was happening.

Of course, he did not realize it at first. But after the woman had revived, he was made aware of it.

It seemed Kyran had wasted too much time— not just in Regis Terram, but also after returning— to the point that Osric and his people had already completed making their countermeasures.

The dummy bodies and the 'revival' of the people meant that the Crown Princess— or, to be precise, Layla— was already involved in all of their plans.

Kyran would not be surprised if Layla was already nearby— at least, one of her 'dummies.'

"That's right," Kyran muttered as he looked at the woman indifferently. However, his reddish-purple eyes, with a touch of silver, flashed with murderous intent. "I am dealing with the Soul Emperor. Breaking someone's soul into pieces and placing them into dummies is not hard."

Although Kyran spoke in a low voice, the woman had heard him clearly. Her smile widened after hearing his words, and she said, "Yes. Senior Osric and Her Highness already made preparations in case someone comes and stops us from accomplishing our task.

"You see, Her Highness cannot come herself because of that Spirit B*tch keeping her busy. So she had already cast a spell on some of us so we would not die. Anyway, it will not be long until she is freed from that b*tch's interference. Senior Osric will soon be there and put that b*tch in her place! As for us, we only have to ensure that the Conclave is destroyed, and then we transport the Time Keeper."

Hearing the woman blabber, Kyran did not kill her at once. Then again, what the woman had said pretty much summed up what he already knew. The only difference was these guys were not aware of why they were told to transport the Time Keeper.

"Thanks for confirming my thoughts," Kyran replied before disappearing and reappearing in front of the woman.

Once more, the woman was taken aback because she still failed to sense his 'warping.'

Obviously, she did not sense it because Kyran did not warp but used the Dragon Steps again.

"I-I told you it is futile to kill me!" The woman shouted in fear. She might not truly die in Kyran's hands, but that did not mean she did not fear death. Besides, when Kyran killed her the first time, she still felt the pain.

For this reason, the Grand Masters with her were tasked to protect her. To prevent her from experiencing death time and again.

"No matter how many times you kill me, I will revive and— guah!"

Kyran did not even bother listening to the woman's shouting before killing her again. Her body fell lifeless to the ground.

The Grand Masters nearby, now aware that the woman would revive, did not slack off. They continued to attack Kyran relentlessly.

"Annoying," Kyran muttered as he looked at the Grand Masters.

BAM!

"GUAH!"

"ARGH!"

A powerful invisible force slammed onto them the moment Kyran's eyes landed on them.

Those with weaker physical defenses were thrown back a few meters while the others fell to their knees and spat a mouthful of blood.

All the Array Specialists and Grand Masters who had seen Kyran's attack trembled in fear. Nevertheless, they did not retreat. They approached Kyran to a certain range and began bombarding him with magic spells again.

Silver scales appeared on Kyran, protecting him from their attacks. These scales were not a combination of Draconic and Void magic but the Draconic magic's normal defensive property. After all, the magic output of the Grand Masters was not that powerful. Kyran did not need to use the Void Scales or even the Void Armor to protect himself from their attacks.

Ignoring the Grand Masters' bombardment, Kyran looked at the woman's body on the ground. He would not sense her soul if he did not focus on her. But even so, it was very faint. No wonder he had thought she was already dead the first time.

Suddenly, the woman's body jerked, and her eyes fluttered. Her body also moved as if invisible strings were attached to her while their ends were connected to a puppetmaster's controller.

Her bones creaked slightly as she stood straight. Finally, her eyes cleared, and the wound on her neck closed.

The woman was alive once again.

"Y-You—!" The woman gasped in fright when she saw Kyran standing before her.

She had thought he had left and aimed at the others while she was 'dead.' She did not expect him to wait for her revival.

'And then what?' She wondered in fright. 'What is he planning on doing?'

Her questions were soon answered as Kyran muttered, "Approximately five seconds. That's long."

"What— guah!"

Kyran sliced the woman's neck. However, this time, he did not use Draconic magic. Instead, a purple blade had appeared on his hand.

Anything that the Void slices will never be healed. If he cut off the woman's neck with a Void Knife, it could never be reattached.
