Kyran's pupils turned into slits, which were glowing silver, while his irises were reddish-purple. This change was a clear sign when he circulated both Draconic and Void magic in his body.

The Shaiha hummed as if resonating with his silent anger.

Once again, Kyran was helpless when presented with his inabilities.

His inability to predict and prepare for every possible scenario he would face; his inability to correctly remember important things at the most crucial moment; his inability to follow through with his plans; and most of all, his inability to protect everyone he holds dear.

Anyone who knew the things going on in Kyran's head would likely tell him not to be full of himself.

After all, he was but one man. What can one man do?

Humans need others to fill in the gaps in their weaknesses. Since every human has their own weaknesses and strengths, only by helping each other can they strive and survive in this world.

Kyran knew this. But ultimately, his sense of responsibility always gets the best of him. For this reason, when something does not go his way, he ends up blaming himself and snapping.

Nevertheless, this time was a bit different.

The first time Kyran snapped, he lost control of himself and half-killed several students in the military school. But the second time, his mind cleared, and he could face Ruin in a scary calm way.

Scary calm because he had been overly calm when the gap between him and Ruin was worlds apart.

There were other times Kyran had snapped, but the worst one had happened in Vates plane.

At the moment, Kyran's state of mind was similar to that time. However, he did not seem to have lost himself after he snapped. If anything, his countenance was similar to when he first took on Ruin.

Kyran's reddish-purple irises darkened slightly as his magic sense erupted and enveloped approximately 5,000 kilometer radius of his surroundings.

This was not the maximum capacity he could use his magic sense. But at the moment, this was the ideal range that would allow him to use his magic without sacrificing its power.

He might have the ability to warp, but he did not want to waste even a second of his time to understand and deal with the situation in the Conclave.

As soon as Kyran's magic sense enveloped the whole Tower of Conclave and a few hundred meters of its outer surroundings.

In his mind's eye, a three-dimensional map appeared, showing the area his magic sense had covered. This map also showed the position of every person. Apart from this, his magic sense identified whether the person was a friend or an enemy.

In just a few seconds, Kyran discovered what could have caused the situation in the Tower of Conclave to escalate.

One of the key points of the tower's defensive array had been destroyed from the inside. From there, Osric and his army managed to infiltrate the tower.

He then used several mini Water Cages to trap every mage and combat mage of the Conclave, Mannick's and Euan's armies with a mage level higher than a Master's. But among these people, Kyran did not find any Conclave council members.

Kyran guessed the reason Osric did this, instead of killing them, was to prevent a large-scale fight from breaking out, which could easily go out of control and result in unwanted casualties.

Of course, the casualty Osric wanted to prevent was not on his side but Cyneah's.

That was right.

Kyran had already guessed that the situation in the Conclave escalated because Osric discovered Cyneah.

The fact that Kyran did not find Lira in her cell and only 'saw' two half-dead Conclave members outside said a lot.

Others might think that Osric saved Lira after they infiltrated the tower, but Kyran 'saw' trails of Lira's tracks. She was also the one who caused the room where he had appeared to be in such a state.

Kyran also determined the location of every Conclave council member and knew that Hugh was in a bad state and Malia was doing his best to keep him alive.

Aki, Avrum, Emery, Vanes, and even Len— another of Kyran's puppets— were doing their best to defend the central tower where Stella's chamber was located.

Finally, he checked Stella's chamber and found Cyneah

Kyran's dimmed irises flashed as they returned to their reddish-purple state. The reason his eyes had dimmed was because he had used his magic sense without alerting the enemy.

But now that he had gathered the information he needed, there was no reason to hide.

As soon as the stealth property in his magic sense was lifted, everyone inside the 5,000-kilometer radius range of Kyran's magic sense felt an oppressive magic energy.

When Aki and Len felt it, their eyes lit up as they raised their heads toward the direction of the main tower.

"Master."

Both of them muttered.

Avrum, Emery and Vaness, who also sensed the oppressive magic energy but did not know who it belonged to, had their hearts sink in fear. But after hearing Aki and Len, the three of them heaved a sigh of relief.

At the same time, in Stella's chamber, where Cyneah and Stella were huddled at the foot of the bed, they turned toward the tower's main entrance after feeling Kyran's magic sense.

"Nar..." Cyneah muttered. Her multi-colored eyes glistened in both anticipation and fear.

She already knew that the situation in the Conclave had escalated because of her. After all, she was only blind, not dumb, nor deaf. She had heard others talking and had connected the dots. Thus, she knew the gist of what was happening.

Because of this, she also felt guilty for all those who had fallen.

Stella looked at Cyneah with a complicated expression. When they had spoken earlier, she had a chance to tell her Kyran's real name. But in the end, she chose not to. Half of her reason was because of her successor— Stella's feelings for Kyran, while the other half... well, she felt Kyran had his own reasons for not telling her the truth.

Regardless of which of these two reasons weighed most, Stella felt uneasy about it.

The enemy side also sensed Kyran's magic energy. They instantly doubled their guard as they tried to locate where it was coming from.

On the other hand, a sinister smile appeared on Osric's face. He was standing right above the central tower and looking at the chamber where he had sensed the Crown Princess's other half was.

Below, several Grand Masters surrounded the tower and were fighting the remaining forces of the Conclave.

These forces, which five people led, only consisted of mages with mage levels from Adepts to Grand Adepts. One would think they would have already succumbed to the Grand Masters, but for some reason, they had survived until now.

The Grand Masters fighting them were already annoyed at this result. They did not think these low-level mages could survive this long with only five Grand Master mages— actually, not five but four, because one of them was a regular human, albeit with a powerful physical body and strength— taking the lead.

Only Osric knew that although two of them emitted the strength of a Grand Master, their capabilities went beyond that. The only reason they did not appear imposing was because their use of magic spells was limited.

Nevertheless, one of these two mages could actually cast powerful support magic spells. At the same time, he could also use powerful Wind magic attacks.

The two mages Osric were pertaining to were Aki and Len. And just as he had predicted, both had the strength of an Exalted or even a Magus, if not for their limited magic spells.

Now Aki and Len could not use their full potential because Kyran did not have time to change their programs properly. He could only tweak Aki's programming a little where it would focus on protecting Cyneah. Rather than that, he had no time to input other magic spells.

In any case, Osric could have dealt with these two and helped the Grand Masters successfully infiltrate the main tower. However, he did not do so because he had his own plan.

The only ones who knew his plan were the Array Specialists from the army and Boyd Family. His reason was simple. He did not want the Conclave to see through his plan. The more the Grand Masters fighting them below appeared agitated, the more the Conclave would be focused on them and not think something was amiss.

"Activate the array," Osric said. His voice was not loud, but the Array Specialists situated in specific locations around the main tower heard him just fine.

The moment they heard him, they activated a target-specific transmission array.

Kyran, who had just released the stealth property of his magic sense, felt a huge magic fluctuation above the main tower.

Without further ado, the space around him crackled as he disappeared.

In a blink of an eye, he reappeared right behind Osirc.
