“I am so sorry,” the man Hiro just saved apologized.
Hiro didn’t blame the man in the slightest, after all, he had prepared for unexpected things like this.
“Can you fight with me?” Hiro asked in a whisper.
“I can’t. I am in pain. I don’t even have any weapons.” The man was feeling guilty. He felt useless.
“Alright, just stay alive. Don’t get killed. Stay behind me.”
Hiro had no choice.
He sheathed out his greatsword and got into a position to fight against the five hunters in front of him.
Seeing Hiro positioned himself to fight them, they laughed louder and louder in mocking tones.
“Hahahaha. Look! The tiny fish’s trying to fight us!”
While they were laughing over him, Hiro quickly scanned their equipment using his HUD system.
Hiro smirked after checking their gears one by one.
Not only were their levels far behind him, which were between 20 to 22, but their gears were also very mediocre. They didn’t even wear any armor. Only their physical appearance looked intimidating and fearsome.
In the real world, it might be a power.
But here, in the virtual reality, it didn’t matter how bulk your body was, if you didn’t care about the progressive stats, you could be weaker than the heroic NPCs.

Hiro sighed. If he killed them, he would not get any extra points. Still, he believed they would spread bad fake news about him to the town after the game finished. And Hiro didn’t want it.
After all, they were just ladies. It was still tough for Hiro when it came to fighting female players, especially those whose strength was very low, like the two mages in front of him right now.
“If you stop hunting till the game finishes, I will let you live.”
After hearing that, the two female hunters nodded and immediately ran away without turning back.
“Man, you are very strong!”
“How could you do that?”
The confidence of the man Hiro saved had returned after seeing that he had a very strong and reliable survivor partner for now. He could even stand normally, no longer with trembling legs.
