Hiro opened his eyes again when he heard the sound of the gate sliding from inside. He pulled back his body and saw the exact same black smoke coming out of the gaps in the gate. It enveloped the anti-cheat terror as well as Cara’s body, making them both invisible.

[The gate of sins has been opened]

As the smoke disappeared, Cara sat on the ground with her face down. She covered the part of her body that was exposed because of the anti-cheat. Since Cara had done what she was supposed to do from the start, the anti-cheat had vanished and set her free.

“Get dressed. We still have many things to do,” said Hiro, then turned his back to the girl. Alice, who hadn’t said anything, just looked at him from the side. Hiro ignored her. He knew that she was judging what he had just done.

“Well well, look at you.”

Hiro could hear Alice’s voice inside his head. He had already changed the communication mode back to using telepathy.

“I’m ready,” Cara said after getting up on her two feet. She walked past Hiro with her chin raised. She didn’t want to talk about what had just happened with Hiro, so she kept walking down the only passage in the place.

“Did you defeat the zombies?” Cara asked curiously. Just a moment ago, before the gate was fully formed again, the passage was just an underground cave filled with ruins.

After Hiro managed to resurrect the Guardian Tree, everything was suddenly reprogrammed. It returned to their respective positions before being destroyed by the hacker power who called himself the GM.

“They are immortals. I’m sure you already know that, Cara.”

Hiro walked behind Cara until the two of them arrived near a very steep ladder. Going down by jumping was something easy, but going up… it took more effort and time.

“I can fly her I guess,” Alice said in Hiro’s head.

With her current strength, Alice was confident that she could bring Cara flying up from the underground, and she really wanted to try it.

“What have you done? I saw a light before everything returned to normal.” Cara turned her head. For the first time, she dared to look at Hiro with her two eyes without showing a strange expression on her face. She no longer felt awkward or embarrassed, and that made Hiro relieved. He could leave all traces of what had just happened between the two of them at the bottom of the ground. No need to take it out.

“They use the Guardian Tree system. I just activated the tree and everything within this city area returned to normal.” Hiro took out his free pass and showed it to Cara, letting the girl read the words embedded there.

Underworld Hero.

“How could you get that? And what is this card for?”

Hiro walked past her, patting the girl’s shoulder to calm her down. She suddenly turned very enthusiastic in a short period of time.

“I’ll tell you again later when we get out of here.” Hiro gestured to Cara to look at the light above the ceiling of the place. The light showed that it was the exit. It was only a speck because the light came from the gap in the door that was just formed after Hiro destroyed it, and it was now tightly closed again as before.

“My dragon will carry you,” he added, then nodded at Alice who was waiting for him impatiently.

Without waiting for Cara’s approval, Spyro was already flapping its wings and gripping Cara’s shoulders with its hind legs.

“Kyaaa!”

Hiro was surprised when the girl suddenly shouted quite loudly. It wasn’t like her at all. The two of them had already shot up to the surface straight away while Hiro started going up the ladder, more like he was climbing because of the upright position.

The guard who had been badly treated by Hiro was already standing outside the door. The three of them stared savagely at Cara and made the girl reflexively draw out her two daggers. She wasn’t afraid at all if the three of them attacked her at the same time.

But… before the commotion broke out, Hiro jumped out of the same door.

“Ah–you guys again?”

Seeing Hiro’s appearance made the three NPCs seem to be stepping back slowly. Their cruel eyes also softened in a short time.

“What happened?” Cara asked. She was a little confused by the reactions of the three NPC guards.

“Well, it seems they don’t like being around me,” Hiro replied briefly while patting the girl’s shoulder, signaling her to follow him.

‘They’re really scared of you, Hiro.’ Hiro could hear Alice squealing inside his head.

The dragon had flown again, following Hiro. Its current size could no longer fit into his robes.

“I really need to buy new armor. That disgusting thing really put me at a disadvantage,” Alice grumbled, still not accepting what had happened earlier. Currently, she only wore armor that was in different types, not a set. It was the only armor Hiro could find in his inventory right now.

“In that case, I am afraid that you can not. The marketplace can not be accessed. You should wait a little longer.”

Then they walked back to the place where the feast had taken place. When they got there, the place was still bustling and people gathered around at a big bonfire like they were doing camp.

“It’s him! He’s back!” exclaimed one of the NPCs when he realized Hiro had come back. He was standing by the bonfire.

Liberty, who was curled up while leaning lazily on Monica’s body, immediately got up and ran to Hiro, just like the others did.

“Hiro! Where have you been? I thought that you would leave me alone!” Liberty hugged Hiro very tightly, as if the two had been separated for a very long time.

“I’m sorry, Libe. I purposely did not tell you. I just don’t want to take you to a dangerous place.”

Liberty pouted her lips as she was still annoyed because Hiro left without telling anything first. Then, she just realized that behind Hiro was a girl she knew.

“Cara? How…? How did you come with Hiro? Are you all right?” Liberty had already run up to the girl and held her hands. Both of them were of the same height. Only Cara was thinner and a little more muscular. Cara noticed that Liberty’s gaze was genuine. The girl really looked worried about her, and that made her feel even more guilty for kissing back Hiro a few minutes ago.

“Yes, I’m sorry. I mean yes, I am all right,” Cara said, suddenly stuttering.

“I’m grateful! Did Hiro find you? He was so worried about you!”

Liberty hugged Cara and patted her back gently. Cara really did not expect it. This was the first time she had spoken to Liberty so much. Her eyes moved to look at Hiro.

Hiro nodded.

“She’s indeed adorable. Not only just her look.”
