A girl was seen falling on the dry ground. Blood was flowing out of her chest, which was cut deep enough to tear the dress she was wearing. Seeing that the enemy was a player, Hiro felt a little relieved. He got over it quickly.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Three bullets from the Hellshing Whisper had lodged in the arms of the three players that planned on harming the girl. They shouted and turned around right away. However, Hiro had already dashed forward using the Void Phantom skill, hiding in his own shadow so that no one could notice his appearance.

Splaaaaat!

Raw!

Hiro managed to slash his sword at the three injured people while the last one behind the girl’s body became Monica’s prey. The giant cat had shot forward and attacked the man without being ordered.

“Taste this giant cat claws you idiot!”

Splat!

Ace seemed to be enjoying his role as the manual controller for the Liberty pet now.

“Don’t kill him.” Hiro gave a warning to Ace who had made the player’s body lying on the ground helplessly. The man was also full of scratches and fresh blood. Ace stopped his action and jumped to Hiro’s side.

“If he dies here, he dies in the real world, remember?” Hiro didn’t want to make himself a killer. Games were games, and killing was not included in the game. Ace nodded in agreement. The cat wagged its long, bushy tail at the player’s already helpless face.

“Forgive us, please forgive us. We are just hungry!” Players who were injured from the gunshots and sword slashes had already knelt before Hiro. They even cried as if they had forgotten what they had just done to the girl.

“Hei, you’ll be okay. Drink this.” Liberty approached the female player and brought out her one magic item, which was always unexpected. [Healing Potion].

After drinking all the contents of the small bottle, the wound on the girl’s body healed without a trace, and she could no longer feel pain. Hiro snatched the empty bottle from the elf girl’s hand and looked up the item’s price information.

[Item Name: Healing Potion]

[Quality: High]

[Description: it heals everything like magic. If only this item exists in the real world, everyone will have no scars]

[Price: 10,000 LSC]

“10,000 LSC? For one item of this?” Hiro couldn’t believe what he had just discovered.

“Libe, how many healing potions do you have in your inventory right now?”

“Well, I just bought it before we entered that haunted house, but I never had a chance to use it so … It’s still 98 bottles by now.”

Hiro gulped his saliva with difficulty. Just how rich was she actually?

“All right, keep it up. Don’t use it frequently. Ask me first before you give it to anyone.” Hiro’s command made Liberty pouting her lips in displeasure.

“Everyone is in need of help, Hiro. Why are you so picky?”

“Libe, the marketplace has been destroyed. We don’t have any resources left here. The only way out from this messy world yet broken game is just by defeating my brother!” Hiro reflexively spoke in a slightly high tone, causing Liberty to suddenly sob and cry on the spot. The girl had never been treated so rudely before.

Scratch!

“Ouch!”

[Health -1500]

Ace reflexively swung his claws slowly towards Hiro’s back because of what the man did to Liberty.

“All right, I am sorry, Libe. I didn’t mean to be such a meanie to you. I am really sorry. Please, stop crying.”

Liberty didn’t blame Hiro. She just couldn’t control herself from crying. Then, she forgave Hiro quickly without wasting their time.

“No, no no. You’re right, Hiro. I am just being stupid and waste everything.”

The girl hugged Hiro and rubbed his back then smiled again. Hiro was relieved, and his gaze turned to the girl player.

[Level 75. Nicoleasz. Rangers. Dream Queen]

“Are you okay?” Hiro asked while holding out his hand to help the girl up.

The girl took his hand and stood up. “I am okay. Thank you for saving my life. You’re so sweet,” she said, exaggerating a little too much. The girl even gave Hiro an unexpected kiss on the cheek. It made Liberty, who was standing in front of her, get angry.

“Hey! He’s mine!” she exclaimed.

“Oops sorry, I didn’t see that you both have rings,” said Nicoleasz while covering her own lips.

“A ring? Why should we have a ring?” Liberty was still annoyed. She pulled Hiro away from the girl.

“Well, in my country, to declare someone yours, you have to wear a ring. You know what I mean right, girl? A marriage.”

Liberty frowned, feeling regretful after sharing her Healing Potion with the ignorant girl.

“All right, enough. We have to keep moving. You can join us, Nicoleasz.”

“Thank you.”

Hiro walked again in the same direction. He focused on the direction shown by his GPS and repeatedly monitored his friendlist to see the status of MyPhantom and Wheelie. He wished both of them were fine until he managed to see them again.

Wheelie was trapped in a cave while Cara had found a hiding place, some kind of hidden path leading to the underground.

“Wait a sec–” Hiro suddenly stopped in his tracks.

“Did I just realize that Cara seems to be under that giant tower? I hope she’s really there. The path to the Voiceless Abyssal?”

“Let’s go, hurry! My friends are waiting.”

Then, they ran fast. However, after they moved only 100 meters from the starting point, seven wolves that were the same size as Monica suddenly appeared before them with a savage growl, baring their fangs filled with saliva.

Those wolves’ bodies were like clones. Their fur looked very rough and dry, and it was an overall dark purple, as if their body had only one color.

Ding!

[New monster information has been unlocked]

[Abyss Wolf (Level 110)]

[Race (Demon)]

“You girls stay behind me!”

“Yes, Honey!” said Nicholeasz, suddenly looking excited. Her eyes were sparkling when she saw Hiro draw his sword out.

Meanwhile, the elf girl’s attitude managed to annoy Liberty even more. She had taken out the Hellsing Whisper. “You can just watch, weakie!”

Bang! Bang! Bang!

“No, Libe! What did you do?!”
